Think Tanks 1.1
ThinkTanks is a tank combat game designed to be a blast for the new and experienced gamer. more>>
Either battling against brain-hungry bots in solo play or going head-to-head against others online, ThinkTanks has something for everyone.
Main features:
Tanks and special Weapons:
- Drive one of three tanks: light, medium and heavy. The light tank is quick, but with weaker armor. The heavy tank is an armored beast with a honkin weapon, and the medium tank is the best of both worlds. All the tanks can use weapon powerups, which give extra-special shots, and are just the thing for getting out of tight spots and racking up points. In addition to super-speed and area-effect projectiles, there are bounce back projectiles that bounce and skitter across the terrain and explode with deadly effect when they are near another tank.
Multiple Worlds:
- The richly detailed and vibrant worlds of ThinkTanks are designed to provide you with different challenges on different worlds. The rolling hills and lush valleys are great for long range sniping and dogfighting. The dark and spooky missions are harder to navigate, and you must keep your wits about you or you may get ambushed by others lurking in the shadows. The skatepark-like lava fields are great for highflying mayhem and aerial assaults. All the missions offer their own unique challenge and will provide hours of fun as you seek to refine and improve your fighting skills.
Bots:
- ThinkTanks Bots are some of the wackiest and interesting hunks of metal this side of the Crab Nebula. The cold-cunning and eagle eyes of the master HUM-Bot (and his annoying sidekick Ri-Bot) inspires fear in all. The strong and steady presence of the Bot Twins, Gul-Bot and Tom-Bot will give you a run for your money while the berserk Mal-Bot dives headlong off cliffs and runs circles around the dim-witted Gum-Bot.
Customize the experience:
- Custom Game creation and Bot Configuration allow for a true custom mission design enabling you to create custom battle scenarios. The Auto Drop Feature allows you to configure an online game and populate it with Bots who drop out when Humans join in. Password Protected Servers allow the player to keep out anyone but those they give the password to, allowing for private games with your close friends or for solo training missions. Our Child-Safe Filter can turn off player and server names and in-game chat messages, so parents can feel secure knowing their children will not be subjected to verbal abuse by "less-than-savory" characters.

Rotate your brain by diagonal - great arcade! more>>
Game Rules
Thare are three different game modes, described here. You may use Show Step button if you dont know which square to move. Watching Demo will help you to understand the rules of every game.
Strip Mania
The board is filled with squares made of four small triangles of different colors. Your goal is to turn the squares clockwise (with the left button of the mouse) or in another direction (right button of the mouse) thus forming figures containing four or more triangles of the same color, that will then disappear. If you remove a whole column, it wont come to the board again and the score will be doubled. If all the squares of a certain color are moved
off the board the score are doubled too. The game is over when all the figures are taken off the board or no more moves are possible.
Shift Mania
The scene is like in the previous game but as soon as you make a move or a figure disappears, one new small triangle will fall into the line at the bottom. When this line is full it will be lifted to your board and a new game round will begin. The game is over if the squares reach the top of the board or no more moves are possible.
Time Mania
The board and the rules are just like in the previous games, but here the line at the bottom is gradually filling with triangles that form squares. You should move off the board as many squares as possible before the line at the bottom is filled up with squares - this line will be added to the board. The game is over when the squares reach the top of the board or no more moves are possible.

Noise Ninja 2.1.1
Noise Ninja is the most effective and productive solution for removing noise and grain from digital photographs and scanned film more>>
Noise Ninja is a must-have tool for anyone shooting in low-light or fast-action situations -- including news, sports, wedding, and event coverage -- where high ISO photography is required and the resulting noise compromises the image.
Noise Ninja often yields a two-stop improvement in effective image quality, while preserving important image detail. In addition, it can produce cleaner, smoother enlargements from low-ISO images.
Main features:
- Best-of-breed technology Designed by a former professor of computer science, Noise Ninja is based on multiple patent-pending advances in a field of mathematics called "wavelet theory." This powerful, one-of-a-kind technology yields an unprecedented balance between noise suppression and detail preservation, achieving natural-looking results without artifacts. Competitive products often yield plastic or blurred results. Those based on conventional wavelets tend to introduce artifacts like halos, ringing, or color bleeding around high-contrast edges, or false edge artifacts in smooth areas.
- Reliable, easy results Noise Ninja excels at getting you "in the ballpark" with default settings, and it responds gracefully and predictably to adjustments. This consistency is unmatched by other tools, which often respond erratically to different images and adjustments.
- Unmatched productivity and flexibility Noise Ninja is more than just an algorithm with a user interface. It is a complete solution, designed so you can quickly and easily get the results you want. It includes a rich set of tools, including automatic and manual noise analysis, camera-specific profiles, an innovative "Noise Brush", and batch processing. Whether you want a one-button automated solution or full interactive control, you can easily adapt the tool to fit your particular workflow needs.
- Plug-in or standalone Noise Ninja runs on both Windows and Mac OS X. It is available as a standalone application, and as a plug-in for Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and compatible hosts.
- Add Noise Ninja to your digital toolkit today. It will pay for itself the first time it rescues an image, whether for publication or for your scrapbook. To learn more, click on one of the Quick Links on the left.
Version restrictions:
- Saved files will be watermarked
Enhancements:
- Added quality annotation auto-fill support
- Added jpe as valid JPEG extension
- Added support for reading ISO information from EXIF Makernotes of recent Canon point-and-shoots
- Minor bug fixes

Bubble Snooker 1.2
Bubble Snooker is a new dynamic and bright logic game for Linux! more>>
Perfect 3D graphics, pleasant sound and music, addictive gameplay, this is what you get when play Bubble Snooker. Besides, you can take part in the International Bubble Snooker Tournament online. The game runs on major Linux flavors.
Game Rules
Your task is to remove the balls from the pool-table by shooting at them with the balls of definite color and combining together 3 or more balls of the same color. If the shot was unsuccessful, additional balls appear on the hexagonal net following the rules of John Conways Game of Life. The balls that do not have neighboring balls (single balls) are removed from the table.
When all the balls are removed you go to the next level. If the balls of the definite color are removed from the table, this color will not appear again on this level. The game is over if one or more balls touch on the lower edge of the table. In case the shooting ball strikes against the lower edge of the table, the colors of the balls on the field are substituted for
accidental colors (including already removed colors). On the right there is a cue which serves as the indicator of the power of shot: the more it is pulled out upwards the stronger the shot is and the farther the shooting ball gets between the balls. For every removed ball you get 1 point on the 1st level, 2 points on the 2nd level and so on.
Be very attentive and do not leave the "islets" of balls close to the lower edge of the table because after 2 or 3 misses the islets can grow and some ball will touch on the lower edge of the table (that will lead to the end of the game). The winning strategy is to play from the cusions not letting the balls fill in the whole table. Try to remove at least one color from the
very first shots. Do your best to make the winning combination (2 or more balls of a definite colors together) for all colors be available at all times.
Do not forget to send your best result to the International online tournament - this is done from the TOP SCORES window.
Be prepared that this game will keep you busy for quite a while.
The runs on major Linus flavors (RedHat, Debian, Mandrake, SuSE, Slackware and others).
Good luck!
Enhancements:
- Several players can use the game individually
- New skill level Easy Ride for more fun than ever
- Live Bubbles: now with real physics and smooth flying
- Games and configurations can be saved separately for each player

CHAINSAWLINUX 0.0.1
CHAINSAWLINUX is an Operating System and a movie editing suite, a CGI & 3D animati more>>
The developers of CHAINSAWLINUX, a film & video production company located in Maryland, are proud to offer an alternative choice to other packages. Since we are also filmmakers, we understand the things that filmmakers want.
On top of that, everything inside is open source, which means you have access to the source code of the software so that you can edit, fix, upgrade, or otherwise manipulate the software to do as you wish. Your options are limitless!
Hardware is very important in an editing system - its like the days of the old muscle cars - the bigger the engine, the faster your car. CHAINSAWLINUX runs on the x86 32 & 64-bit architectures (basically, it runs on PCs).
The PC should be fairly fast - a bare minumum of a 1Ghz Processor with at least 512Mb of RAM and at least 50Gb of hard drive space would be preferred. A striped RAID system is highly recommended for importing and exporting video, but you may be able to get by with less (performance varies from system to system).
For Cinelerra, it is recommended to have at least a Dual 2.4Ghz Opteron, 4GB RAM, 200 GB storage for movie files and a Gigabit ethernet. The Renderfarm node should consist of at least a Single 2.4Ghz Athlon, 512MB RAM, Flash hard drive and a 100MB ethernet.
We understand not everyone can always afford decent editing hardware, but its what we recommend as a bare minimum. It boils down to this: the faster your machine, the less waiting around on editing...
CHAINSAWLINUX is not a webserver, nor a mailserver. It is not a DHCP server, nor a name-server. Nor is it a router, a firewall, a ftp server, or a fileserver. It wasnt made to be any of the types of network servers or routers that are usually associated with many Linux distributions. But it is made to be an easy and fast user-interface for editing movies.
