Transcribe! project is an assistant for people who sometimes want to work out a piece of music from a recording, in order to write it out, or play it themselves, or both.
The usual technique for doing this is to copy the music to cassette and then listen repeatedly to each bit, using your ear and your brain to work out what is happening. Unless you have perfect pitch then you also need a piano or a guitar handy to check out which note is which. However, if you copy the recording to your computers hard disk as a sound file then you can use Transcribe! instead of the cassette machine and the piano.
Transcribe! offers many features aimed at making the transcription job smoother and easier, including the ability to slow down music without changing its pitch, and to analyse chords and show you what notes are present.
It is important to understand that Transcribe! does not attempt to do the whole job, processing an audio file and outputting musical notation - this would be nice, but is a currently unsolved research problem. The spectrum analysis feature is very useful for working out those hard-to-hear chords, but you must still use your ear and brain to decide which of the peaks in the spectrum are notes being played, which are merely harmonics, and which are just the result of noise and broad-spectrum instruments such as drums.
If you have never worked out even a simple piece of music by ear then Transcribe! will probably not help you (see How to Transcribe), but if you do sometimes work out recorded music by ear then Transcribe! can make the job a lot quicker and easier.
Transcribe! takes no interest in MIDI files - these already contain explicit information about what notes are to be played and when, and there are plenty of programs available which can display this information. Transcribe! deals with audio sample data files.
Transcribe! plays and records audio files but it is not an audio editor. It is capable of applying various effects to audio such as speed change, pitch change and EQ. You can save the modified audio to a new sound file if you want.

Tuning
- Adjustment to playback pitch, in cents (hundredths of a semitone) for fine tuning and also larger shifts of up to two octaves, which can for instance be useful in hearing low, murky bass parts by raising them by an octave or two.
Transposition
- Special handling for those of you who play a transposing instrument such as trumpet or saxophone.
Speed
- Speed variable from one twentieth to double speed.

BestCrypt volume is accessible as a regular filesystem on a correspondent mount point. BestCrypt automatically encrypts data before saving or storing a file. PDFlib TET (Text Extraction Toolkit) is software for reliably extracting text information from any PDF file. It is available as a library/component and as a command-line tool. TET makes available the text contents of a PDF as Unicode strings or structured XML, plus detailed glyph and font information. With TET you can retrieve the corresponding Unicode values for text in a PDF document, as well as its position on the page.
In addition to low-level text retrieval TET contains advanced content analysis algorithms for determining word boundaries, removing redundant duplicate text (such as shadows and artificial bold). Using the auxiliary pCOS interface you can retrieve arbitrary objects from the PDF, such as metadata, hypertext, etc.
Fully functional evaluation versions of TET including documentation and samples are available from the TET download page for all supported platforms. Purchasing a license and applying the license key will fully enable the evaluation version for production deployment.

- Ligatures and other multi-character glyphs will be decomposed into a sequence of their constituent Unicode characters.
- Vendor-specific Unicode assignments (Private Use Area, PUA) are identified, and mapped to characters in the common Unicode area if possible.
- Glyphs without appropriate Unicode mappings are identified as such, and are mapped to a configurable replacement character.
Full CJK Support
TET includes full support for extracting Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text. All predefined CJK CMaps (encodings) are recognized; horizontal and vertical writing modes are supported.
Content Analysis and Word Identification

Scheture project is our schematic capture package. The package is built atop the same database as all of the other Stabie-Soft products. The schematic editor handles iterated instances, bused pins and wires, parameter passing etc.

STRATEGY
Here the goal is just to remove as many squares in few moves as possible. When indicator reaches 100%, the game is over. The goal is to go through as many levels as possible.

To move to the next level you should cope with a certain number of lines that will be added to the board.The speed of the game grows as you move from one level to another.
Bombs that sometimes appear on the board will help you to cope with a level: a click on a bomb of certain color will blow up all the squares of the same color. Clicking on a black bomb will blow up all the squares around it.

Two bombs lying upright - delete a vertical line
Three stars - delete detached squares - those that are not included into blocks

The VNC project is remote control software which allows you to view and fully interact with one computer desktop (the "VNC server") using a simple program (the "VNC viewer") on another computer desktop anywhere on the Internet. The two computers dont even have to be the same type, so for example you can use VNC to view a Windows Vista desktop at the office on a Linux or Mac computer at home. For ultimate simplicity, there is even a Java viewer, so that any desktop can be controlled remotely from within a browser without having to install software.
VNC is in widespread active use by millions throughout industry, academia and privately. There are several versions to choose from, including a free version and some substantially enhanced commercial versions.
This package contains the following VNC modules:
- vncviewer - The VNC Viewer for X
- vncserver - The VNC Server for X
- vncconfig - Configuration tool for VNC Server.
- vncpasswd - VNC Authentication password tool for VNC Server.
- vnckeygen - Cryptographic key generator for VNC Server.

Installing from the tar file:
You should copy the programs to some directory which is in your PATH environment variable, such as /usr/local/bin. You can use the vncinstall script to do this for you:

This will also attempt to install the manual pages in an appropriate directory. You can specify an alternative directory as a second argument to vncinstall:
% ./vncinstall /usr/local/bin /usr/local/man
It will also try to install the vnc.so XFree86 version 4 module if appropriate.

Installing from the tar file:
You should copy the programs to some directory which is in your PATH environment variable, such as /usr/local/bin. You can use the vncinstall script to do this for you:
% ./vncinstall /usr/local/bin
This will also attempt to install the manual pages in an appropriate directory. You can specify an alternative directory as a second argument to vncinstall:
% ./vncinstall /usr/local/bin /usr/local/man
It will also try to install the vnc.so XFree86 version 4 module if appropriate.
