Aerodynamics
The aerodynamics in the simulator is governed by true physical principles in that the force field acting on the glider is computed from local air flow over the wing profiles as well as position and movement of the control surfaces (elevator, aileron, rudder). The force field is represented by a multitude of local force vectors giving rise to correct behavior, even in asymmetric situations like for example side-slip, stall, aero towing and entrance into thermals.
Sceneries
The sceneries in Silent Wings are based on a breakthrough in level-of-detail (LOD) technology that integrates triangulated topographic models, terrain textures, linear features and physical objects in a unified framework geared towards real time visualization. This technology scales almost perfectly with data sizes and allows in principle any resolution for real time rendering.
Weather
The weather model is constructed through realistic simulation of the physical systems for thermals and wind layers. Thermals are based on ground heat capacity models deduced from spectral analysis of certain satellite images. With this as a basis the complete thermal cycle, including rise of warm air, build-up of cumulus clouds, inflow of cool air, and evaporation of the cumulus clouds, is simulated to give high visual and physical realism.
In fact, the user can judge ground, wind and cloud characteristics in the same way as he does during real physical soaring, and find that the atmospheric properties behave as he would expect.
Aircraft
Silent Wings contains 4 flyable aircraft ranging from the sturdy G-103 Twin II trainer to the open class Antares self-launcher. All aircraft have animated moving parts and fully functional 3D cockpits. The wings are flexing naturally in respons to the aerodynamic situation.
The current library of aircraft is planned to be extended, not only with sailplanes, but also other types of flying vehichles.

How it Works:
1: Element Break-Down
Done only once during initialization, X-Plane breaks the wing(s), horizontal stabilizer, vertical stabilizer(s), and propeller(s) (if equipped) down into a finite number of elements. The number of elements is decided by the user in Plane-Maker. Ten elements per side per wing or stabilizer is the maximum, and studies have shown that this provides roll rates and accelerations that are very close to the values that would be found with a much larger number of elements.
2: Velocity Determination
This is done twice per cycle. The aircraft linear and angular velocities, along with the longitudinal, lateral, and vertical arms of each element are considered to find the velocity vector of each element. Downwash, propwash, and induced angle of attack from lift-augmentation devices are all considered when finding the velocity vector of each element.
Propwash is found by looking at the area of each propeller disk, and the thrust of each propeller. Using local air density, X-Plane determines the propwash required for momentum to be conserved.
Downwash is found by looking at the aspect ratio, taper ratio, and sweep of the wing, and the horizontal and vertical distance of the "washed surface" (normally the horizontal stabilizer) from the "washing surface" (normally the wing), and then going to an empirical look-up table to get the degrees of downwash generated per coefficient of lift.
3: Coefficient Determination
The airfoil data entered in Part-Maker is 2-dimensional, so X-Plane applies finite wing lift-slope reduction, finite-wing CLmax reduction, finite-wing induced drag, and finite-wing moment reduction appropriate to the aspect ratio, taper ratio, and sweep of the wing, horizontal stabilizer, vertical stabilizer, or propeller blade in question. Compressible flow effects are considered using Prandtl-Glauert, but transonic effects are not simulated other than an empirical mach-divergent drag increase. In supersonic flight, the airfoil is considered to be a diamond shape with the appropriate thickness ratio... pressures behind the shock waves are found on each of the plates in the diamond-shaped airfoil and summed to give the total pressures on the foil element.
4: Force Build-Up
Using the coefficients just determined in step 3, areas determined during step 1, and dynamic pressures (determined separately for each element based on aircraft speed, altitude, temperature, propwash and wing sweep), the forces are found and summed for the entire aircraft. Forces are then divided by the aircraft mass for linear accelerations, and moments of inertia for angular accelerations.
5: Get Back to Work
Go back to step 2 and do the whole thing over again at least 15 times per second. Arent computers great?

Game Rules
Your task is to remove the balls from the pool-table by shooting at them with the balls of definite color and combining together 3 or more balls of the same color. If the shot was unsuccessful, additional balls appear on the hexagonal net following the rules of John Conways Game of Life. The balls that do not have neighboring balls (single balls) are removed from the table.
When all the balls are removed you go to the next level. If the balls of the definite color are removed from the table, this color will not appear again on this level. The game is over if one or more balls touch on the lower edge of the table. In case the shooting ball strikes against the lower edge of the table, the colors of the balls on the field are substituted for
accidental colors (including already removed colors). On the right there is a cue which serves as the indicator of the power of shot: the more it is pulled out upwards the stronger the shot is and the farther the shooting ball gets between the balls. For every removed ball you get 1 point on the 1st level, 2 points on the 2nd level and so on.
Be very attentive and do not leave the "islets" of balls close to the lower edge of the table because after 2 or 3 misses the islets can grow and some ball will touch on the lower edge of the table (that will lead to the end of the game). The winning strategy is to play from the cusions not letting the balls fill in the whole table. Try to remove at least one color from the
very first shots. Do your best to make the winning combination (2 or more balls of a definite colors together) for all colors be available at all times.

Be prepared that this game will keep you busy for quite a while.

As pilots in the Vendetta universe, the progression of the players character is up to each individual. The starting Nation affiliation gives the player certain benefits and liabilities that fit the particular culture of that Nation, but this merely serves as a starting point for the character. If the user wishes to be a peaceful trader, military pilot, guard for hire, dastardly pirate, or whatever the player imagines, this is all up to the behaviour and play style of the user. There are both lawful and lawless places in the universe, and many different factions (including a pirate faction) with differing motives and shifting alignments. The universe is never a completely "safe" place, but lawful authorities do not take kindly to combat within their populated areas, making those places safer than most. More lawless regions may prove more dangerous, but potentially yield lucrative possibilities for those who align themselves with the darker underbelly of society. The life of a criminal is difficult, however, and pirates are not well-loved in most of the populated galaxy.
Character progression takes place in the form of a variety of skills and other attributes, any combination of which can potentially open up new gameplay content (missions, ships, equipment, trade items, etc). General activity related to a skill can increase it (trading can increase the Commerce skill, etc), but taking on missions will generally increase skills that much faster. Missions are offered by particular factions, with mission difficulty and availability increasing as the character becomes better known to the faction. Rising in the esteem of a given faction can itself yield better item prices, a wider item selection, and access to unusual "special" equipment available only to those who have proven themselves worthy. It is possible to win many types of accolades and commendations from particular factions, all of which can help demonstrate the characters accomplishments. These and other character stats may be viewed by other users in a Character Information panel.
The ships themselves are highly customizable, with various different designs and addon modules making possible a wide range of equipment loadouts. In addition, users may configure the color of their individual craft. Various types of ships are specifically suited to a particular task (such as combat or trading), while others prove more flexible, depending on how they are configured by the pilot.

Destroyers-commandos will try to wound you with the paint that holds for
some time on the screen and impedes to play. These are real pills! They
are mean and cheeky. They took lessons from a famous sniper. So, watch
out!
Aerobatic Acess they are not even worth mentioning. Those are just
some spoilt creatures that do not deserve being called ducks at all.
Have you ever seen a bird flying in zigzags? Now you will...They are real
aces, though...
For shooting down the duck pilots you should come up with wining strategies
for each duck character. The number or points you get fully depends on the
character you shot and its flying speed.
Thus, for killing Interceptors-privates you can get 5, 10, or 15 points.
For a Supersonic Fighter you are able to receive 100, 150, or 200 points,
and for a Destroyer-commando - 250, 300, or even 350.
Aerobatic Aces shot down will bring you 50, 75, or 100 points.
The higher the skill level is, the faster the ducks fly and the smaller
the radius of hit is. That means that you need to shoot faster and more
directly.
In addition to traditional skills levels of Novice, Expert, and Master,
the game has several game modes:
- Blitz - this is a time-limited game. Here you should shoot as many ducks
as you can for a limited time that you can set yourself.
- Sniper - you have a limited number of cartridges in this game (you choose
20, 50, or 200 ammo). Thus, its better not to miss and shoot only when you
are 100% sure you will kill the duck.
- Crossfire - this is a time-limited game without the shooting ducks. Feel
free to let all your rage and fury out. Shootem all! Though, dont forget
to re-charge your rifle.
- CliKill - a time-limited game. Instead of the gun you should use the sight that can be moved all around the playing field. Note that the playing field
is not limited by the game screen. The sight allows aiming more easily. Let
the steam off!
If you use joystick, the buttons of recharging and shooting coincide: if you have no ammo and you push shooting button, your rifle will be recharged.
For those who prefer stylus: the farther from the front sight of your rifle
you click, the faster the rifle moves to the appropriate side. Moreover,
there is a virtual joystick (with side movements buttons and shooting button).
If you put the stylus on ammo, the rifle will be re-charged.

Spammers are now building and using tools that munge (or cloak) the text of UCE messages, making it impossible for most spam blockers to detect the trigger words they depend upon to identify the message as spam.
