Code Forge IDE is Integrated Development Environment for Unix and Linux, that provides full project management and a complete edit, compile and debug cycle support for over 30 programming languages. Its advanced project management features allow it to scale from simple to extremely large and multi-language as well as multi-user projects. Total integration between various IDE tools provide the programmer with unprecedented control over the development process.
The Project Manager gives a visual representation of all of its components through the use of a dependency tree. Users can easily set up multiple targets of different types, mix programming languages and even revision control types within the same project.
The GUI project manager provides full abstraction of the "Makefile" concept. Project Makefiles are generated and maintained automatically by the CodeForge project engine. Intuitive Drag and Drop operations on the Dependency Tree and project desktop, are automatically converted to make script statements. A GNU Makefile representation of the Project is kept up to date with every change applied to the project. The resulting Makefile can be executed from the command line.
Tools options
The IDE hides the details of working with different compiled programming languages. The simple concept of creating a target from source files and even other targets works exactly the same for all compiled languages. Creating an "Executable" target and adding source files will automatically generate the the rules necessary to build that target. Creating a "Library" target is just as simple. Linking your "Library" target to an "Executable" target is as simple as dragging the icon of the "library" target onto the "Executable" targets icon.
Development tool interfaces are also abstracted. The IDE has preconfigured support for all major free and commercial compilers on the market today. Appropriate compilation and linker options are selected automatically and are graphically configurable. Dozens of other tools such as (ar, lexx, yacc, etc) are also supported by the development environment.
Code Forge IDE is fully Drag and Drop enabled between tools. Operations such as file modification, file comparison and revision control are all performed simply by dragging a file form the project desktop to the desired drop site.
The IDE provides the facilities to control the build, debug and execute actions at the target level. An environment variable editor allows the user to define a custom environment for each Project.
Project Window
A built-in advanced programmers editor is the first and only editor to maintain the correct indentation of the entire source file with each keystroke. (The indentation policy can be "downgraded" to the level of other editors via options) The editor features context-sensitive auto-completion and prototype-hinting.
The IDE includes a "best-in-class" debugger interface, that interfaces seemlessly with the editor so you can edit, rebuild and continue debugging never leaving the debugger itself.
Code Forge IDE makes Team Development a snap through the use of local "sandboxes", project merge and transparent support of all major types of Revision Control. Complete abstraction of the Revision Control interface makes revision control specifics transparent to the user. Interaction will all revision control types looks the same to the user. Drag and Drop operations within Dependency Tree generate and execute the correct revision control commands.

The basic goal is to clear the field that is always being filled up by deleting three or more bricks that stand together.

Game Rules

The main goal of the game is very simple-to remove color squares from the board. They can be taken out only in blocks of the same color, these blocks are selected when the mouse moves over. Just click on the block to take it out. Single squares cannot be cleared, and when no blocks remain-the game is over. There are two different games:

STRATEGY

Here the goal is just to remove as many squares in few moves as possible. You get two points for every square youve managed to clear at the end of the game the percent of the field left uncleared is counted down. This value is shown on the indicator under the playing field. The new level begins. At the end of it the percent of the squares left on a board is added to the value on indicator. When indicator reaches 100%, the game is over. The goal is to go through as many levels as possible.

ARCADE

In this game you have to remove like-colored blocks that are in clusters so that they couldnt fill the board to the top. Removing big blocks will bring you more points. Youll get extra bonus if you remove extremely big blocks.

To move to the next level you should cope with a certain number of lines that will be added to the board.The speed of the game grows as you move from one level to another.
Bombs that sometimes appear on the board will help you to cope with a level: a click on a bomb of certain color will blow up all the squares of the same color. Clicking on a black bomb will blow up all the squares around it.

Bonuses:

Three stars - delete detached squares - those that are not included into blocks
Many stars - delete all blocks on the board
Block - 2 (in strategy) and 3 (in arcade) squares, lying together

Xrefactory is a plugin for Emacs, XEmacs, and jEdit which provides code completion, source browsing, and refactorings. It is based on full pre-processing, parsing, and static analysis of sources and works with the C, C++, and Java languages.
Xrefactory contains a stand-alone cross referencer, and a generator for HTML documentation.

Installation

Mysterious Palantir runs on all major Linux flavors (RedHat, Debian, Mandrake,
SuSE, Slackware and others). It is distributed as a gzipped tar archive
bshooter.tgz To install and run this game on your Linux system, please do
the following:

1) copy the file to a directory of your choice

2) unpack the archive:

tar xzvf palantir.tgz

3) go into Palantir directory and run the game:

cd Palantir;

palantir

The trial copy of the program will expire in 14 days. You can obtain a
registration key any time during or after the trial period.

Game Rules

Look at the board - there are some spheres in the middle of its sides. Just click on one of them and it becomes active. The sphere will fly in the direction you point. Inside a small hexagon in the middle of the board you can see some other spheres - they show the color of the next ones, so you may develop your own game strategy. The numbers in a light

blue hexagon at the right of the board indicate the number of unsuccessful attempts left till the end of the game round.

You will get some points if the sphere you have shot joins a group of spheres of the same color and they disappear. You will get ten times more points for every sphere that fell apart if they werent connected to the center of the board. If you havent removed any sphere by your shot - the number of attempts decreases and when it equals to zero new lines will appear from the center of the board and a new game round will begin. New lines will appear if the sphere you have shot hits the sides of the board it has come from and disappears. But in this case you wont lose your attempts.

You may choose between nine different games available (click on the `Pick game button). First six games are single player games and the last three are multiplayer ones.

In the single player game your goal is to remove all the spheres off the board. You will have twice more points if you manage to kick off all the spheres of the same color. On the other hand the number of lines that appear at the end of every game round increases too.

In multiplayer games you should achieve different goals. The board is divided into two parts here. One half of which belongs to you and another - to your opponent. Your goal is to remove all the spheres from your half of the board and those common for both players lying on the line dividing the board. You should also fill the opponents half and make the spheres overflow its borders. Keep in mind that the player on whose part of the board the spheres have been removed will get points.

Try to clear your half of the board and your score will be doubled and the game will be over. In case the spheres overflow the board the game is over too. You will lose all your points and lose the game if spheres overflow the board on your half. Another player must follow the same rules. At the beginning of every game you can choose players - either

human or computer ones. You will watch the game in Demo Mode if you choose both players as computer players.
