Mysql Data Manager is written in Perl but uses HTML to create the GUI. This means that it is not an executable file and so there are no restrictions on uploading to your web server and using it straight away.
Mysql Data Manager does not require root access to MySQL server to do all the things you need to as a Data Administrator or Web administrator.

Whereas Secure Image and CopySafe offer protection of the image/content once downloaded to the visitors browser, Link Protect will protect the links to your images and page content from direct download, search programs and other illegal linking activity.

Your protected content is stored in a folder only known to Link Protect. If the referring address is not listed as an authorized site, a default image is displayed instead of the content.
