Evil Greg Vs. Eight Year Olds 0.4.1

Evil Greg Vs. Eight Year Olds 0.4.1

Evil Greg battles hordes of 8 year old kids. more>>
Evil Greg Vs. Eight Year Olds was originally conceived when Nizzity asked EG how many 8 year old kids it would take to bring him down. EG responded that no amount would be enough because he would eat them as he went and would slowly grow in power.

He claims that eventually his heartburn would allow him to breath fire and they would fall before him. The game will test the merit of his claims. This is an accurate scientific simulation.

myGuests 0.2

myGuests is a guestbook written in PHP. more>>
myGuests is a guestbook written in PHP. It uses a simple textfile as storage, there is no need for a database server like mysql to use it. - multi-language support (available languages: English, German, Dutch, Slovak)
- css support
- email notification
- email protection
- badwords filter
- admin-mode (delete&comment on entries)

Finance::YahooChart is a Perl module to get a chart from Yahoo! Finance.

SYNOPSIS

use Finance::YahooChart;
%img = getchart(symbol => $symbol, size => $size, type => $type,
include => $include);
print width="$img{width}" height="$img{height}">";

This module gets charts from Yahoo! Finance. The only function in the module is the getchart function, which takes the stock symbol, size of the chart (b for big, s for small), the type of chart (i for intraday, w for week, 3 for 3-month, 1 for 1-year, 2 for 2-year, and 5 for 5-year), and any extra information to include (s for a comparison to the S&P 500, m for a moving average). It returns a hash with the following elements:

url => The URL of the chart
width => The width of the chart
height => The height of the chart

Note that not all combinations are available for all charts.

Big charts are available for all types.

Small charts are only available for i, w, and 1 charts.

Includes are only available for big 3, 1, 2, and 5 charts.

In most cases, if an invalid configuration is passed, $Finance::YahooChart::Error will be set to some kind of error message.

readlists 3.0.3

readlists 3.0.3

readlists is a frontend for mailers like mutt to handle multiple mailboxes more conveniently. more>>
readlists in short rl, is a frontend for mailers like mutt to handle multiple mailboxes more conveniently.

A few years ago (in 1998) I started to use ELM (and later mutt) along with several mailfolders. I wanted to have a little program that acted as a front-end to mutt to make reading of multiple mailboxes easier.

The result was readlists, or rl as I shortly afterwards abbreviated it. Last year, when we upgraded out mail server to FreeBSD 5.4, we decided not to install ELM anymore, which left a void as this package also provided the command nfrm. Since rl already contained all the code needed for such a command, this was added, as well.

LoadSimilar 0.2

LoadSimilar 0.2

LoadSimilar provides convenient context menu entries to load all tracks which have various peices of information. more>>
LoadSimilar provides convenient context menu entries to load all tracks which have various peices of information in common with the selected track (artist/album/genre/year/score/playcount).

I created LoadSimilar because I enjoy listening to random mix playlists, but sometimes I hear a song and decide I would like to hear the entire album. Rather than manually dig the album out of my collection, LoadSimilar lets me just LoadSimilar By Album and instantly the album will be loaded. While I was at it, I added the other options for good measure.

LoadSimilar creates a menu in the context menu called LoadSimilar, with entries By Artist, By Album, By Genre, By Year, By Score, and By Playcount. Selecting one of these entries will cause LoadSimilar to find all tracks that have the named peice of data in common with the selected track, and load them to your playlist.

By default, LoadSimilar will load a maximum of 500 tracks at once, and will clear your playlist before adding tracks. Both of these behavoirs can be easily customized by editing the top of the loadsimilar.py script.

LoadSimilar was developed and tested on Amarok 1.4.3 running a MySQL collection database. If you have any problems with the script, email me whatever information you can gather and Ill fix the problem.

Usage:

LoadSimilar creates a menu in the context menu called LoadSimilar, with entries By Artist, By Album, By Genre, By Year, By Score, and By Playcount. Selecting one of these entries will cause LoadSimilar to find all tracks that have the named peice of data in common with the selected track, and load them to your playlist.
