RockBox WPS cover creator 0.2
RockBox WPS cover creator is an amaroK script that creates covers for RockBox WPS. more>>
RockBox WPS cover creator is an amaroK script that creates covers for RockBox WPS.
Covers are created in currently played directory (so you can sync later data on HD with DAP - its like I do with rsync).
Its fast and dirty script so do not expect much - it just checks if there is a cover.bmp in a currently played file directory and if not - tries to create it (if only Amarok has such a cover).
Script requires dcop and imagemagick package. It creates 100x100 pixels covers - you can change it in second line of amarok_cover.sh

WordNet::Similarity::PathFinder 1.04
WordNet::Similarity::PathFinder is a Perl module to implement path finding methods for WordNet::Similarity measures. more>>
WordNet::Similarity::PathFinder is a Perl module to implement path finding methods (by node counting) for WordNet::Similarity measures of semantic relatedness.
SYNOPSIS
use WordNet::QueryData;
my $wn = WordNet::QueryData->new;
use WordNet::Similarity::PathFinder;
my $obj = WordNet::Similarity::PathFinder->new ($wn);
my $result = $obj->parseWps($wps1, $wps2);
my @paths = $obj->getShortestPath("dog#n#1", "cat#n#1", "n", "wps");
my ($length, $path) = @{shift @paths};
defined $path or die "No path between synsets";
my @paths = $obj->getAllPaths("worship#v#1", "adore#v#1", "v", "wps");
my ($length, $path) = @{shift @paths};
defined $path or die "No path between synsets";
my @paths = $obj->getShortestPath("02895418", "02724985", "n", "offset");
my ($length, $path) = @{shift @paths};
defined $path or die "No path between synsets";
Introduction
This class is derived from (i.e., is a sub-class of) WordNet::Similarity.
The methods in this module are useful for finding paths between concepts in WordNets is-a taxonomies. Concept A is-a concept B if, and only if, B is a hypernym of A or A is in the hypernym tree of B. N.B., only nouns and verbs have hypernyms.
The methods that find path lengths (such as getShortestPath() and getAllPaths() compute the lengths using node-counting not edge-counting. In general, the length of a path using node-counting will always be one more than the length using edge-counting. For example, if concept A is a hyponym of concept B, then the path length between A and B using node-counting is 2, but the length using edge-counting is 1. Likewise, the path between A and A is 1 using node-counting and 0 using edge-counting.

dfm 0.99.9
dfm is a filemanager like OS/2 WPS. more>>
DFM is a file manager for Linux and other UNIX like Operating Systems. DFM is the abrvabation for Desktop File Manager.
"Desktop" stands for the capability to place icons on the root window. The idea to write DFM came from OS/2. For a long time I had worked with OS/2.
Using Linux I miss a desktop that provides easy launching programs, managing files and their association. I think only a program like the WPS can provide this.
Main features:
- Normal view, Detail view, Structure view
- Icons may have any size
- placement of icons is free (Normal view)
- every file have its own icon and startcommand
- copy, move and link files
- The desktop is a special folder in the homedirectory - There the user can place links to favourite programs or folders of the system
- every DFM-window have its own backgroundpixmap or color
- XV thumbnails are used as icons
- XDND drag support
- Offix drag support
