World Domination is a Real Time Strategy game inspired by the board game Axis and Allies utilizing the Stratagus engine.
World Domination will emphasize strategy and not "see who can build the most units the fastest." Resources are not gathered like in other RTSs, rather they are distributed after a fixed interval of time based on how much land a player occupies.
Enhancements:

- Fixed may bugs and desyncs so you should be able to finish a network game without it crashing.

Samoth World Editor project consists of medieval/fantasy universe RPG.

- Map loading/creation/saving (the last one almost done, physics still to do)

- Physics creation (from mesh) : done, but useless, since they cannot be saved yet.

SLAX Frodo edition is the console base for all other SLAX releases. SLAX Frodo Edition doesnt contain almost anything, only full working Linux command prompt and drivers.
Some people prefer modified versions of SLAX, designed to provide some extra functionality. Even if SLAX is modular and allows people to extend it easily, Im releasing these special modifications to help beginners use.
SLAX is a small bootable CD containing the Linux operating system. It runs Linux directly from the CD (or USB) without installing.
The Live CD described here is based on the Slackware Linux distribution and is downloadable from this website as an ISO image. All scripts and source code are available and can be used to build your own Live CD.

GoblinX Mini Edition is a son of GoblinX and contains only XFCE as windows manager and GTK2/GTK based applications.
The edition is indicated for those users whose want to remaster the distro and also those with difficulties to download more than three hundreds of megabytes, original size of GoblinX Main distro.
The GoblinX Mini Edition will have newer versions released faster and it will be used also for tests and for system and hardware support improvements.
The Mini Edition includes GoblinX default modules such as 01.x.base.mo, 02.x.deflibs.mo, 03.x.defX.mo, 04.x.default.mo, modules included also in master edition, and 08.x.mini.mo, which adds more applications to the edition.
The ISO image is about one hundred and fifty megabytes, but the mini edition contains an excellent source of applications and its more easy to download and also to remaster because modules are already prepared to allow a fast rebuild of the ISO file.
The ISO image has less than half size of the original GoblinX.
The edition also is been used for tests and all applications not based on QT libraries will be tested first by the mini edition, and these tests will make more stable the main distro.
Try out the mini edition, make it your small Linux LiveCD and save memory, you can also use a minicd to burn it and some other devices... If you edit or remove some applications, it can fit into a 128MB pen drive...
The Mini Edition will use the same version definition of GoblinX, so the mini edition is starting using 1.2.0 as edition version.
Enhancements:
- GoblinX Mini 2.0.0 is released. The GoblinX Mini Edition is the son of GoblinX and contains only the Xfce windows manager and GTK+-based applications. This release follows Premium 2007.1 edition and starts the second generation of the distribution. All new features and upgrades prepared for the Premium edition are included, including a new functional Magic Center which works with Xfce and all graphical user interfaces.

However it uses technologies that have been patented in some parts of the World. Most countries do not recognize the legitimacy of software patents so for most of our users this is not a problem. But if youre unlucky and you live in a country where software patents are legally enforcable, you need a version of Linux Mint which is free of patented technologies, and this is what the Light Edition is about.
Why does Linux Mint include proprietary drivers?
It doesnt. If it did, it would be legally wrong (because it would violate the GPL) or ethically wrong (if some dirty trick was used for the user to link the code to the kernel for instance).
What about proprietary software?
We believe in open source and release all our work with the corresponding source code. We owe a lot to the Free Software movement and to the GPL but we also owe a lot to all the developers who contributed ideas and tools and who made software better and better throughout the years. Some of them released their source code as well and thus granted us more freedom and more flexibility. Others released their software with proprietary licenses and although this didnt give us the freedom we would have liked it still contributed to make software better. We like Software in general, Free Software even more, but we do not believe in boycotting Proprietary Software.

- The KDE Community Edition of Cassandra is finally out! This release is based on Bianca KDE and compatible with all Feisty repositories. It comes with KDE 3.5.6 and a Linux kernel 2.6.20. Openoffice, Thunderbird and Sunbird replaced KOffice and Kontact. Beryl 0.2.1 is included with Beryl-Manager. The default software selection includes: Dolphin 0.8.1, Tasty Menu 0.8.2, Amarok 1.4.6, K3B 1.0, Scribus 1.2.5, KMyMoney 0.8.5, Sun Java 6, Digikam, GIMP.... XO World is a board game that lets you play Tic-tac-toe versus computer on 10x10 board.
