wmfire 1.2.3

wmfire 1.2.3

wmfire is a fiery dock app. more>>
wmfire is a fiery dock app.
This is an update of the original wmfire dock applet. Like the wmufo program it uses the GDK library to improve its speed - using less than half the cpu of the original program.
It can monitor the average cpu load, or individual cpu load on SMP computers. Additionally it can monitor the memory, network load, a file or just be set to show a pretty flame. On entering the dock a burning spot replaces the cursor, and after two seconds symbols to represent the current monitor are "burnt" onscreen. The flame colour can also be changed.
Enhancements:
- Add sticky option and fix regression causing second window

Sonar 1.2.2

Sonar 1.2.2

sonar is a network reconnaissance utility. more>>
This software is used for the automatic probing of internet hosts at a timed interval (reconnaisance), checking host connectivity, especially ICMP support (information Gathering), automated running of third party tools when said host is online (automated testing).
Use of sonar shifts responsibility for the users actions solely to that user him or herself. In other words, the author cannot be held responsible for your actions.
Examples
Run nmap with a vanilla connect scan as soon as www.google.com is online. Check every 60 seconds, go into background, and log to probe.log:
sonar -c -1 --scan_delay=60 -f --output_plugin=L
-p fprobe.log -pe"nmap -sT www.google.com"
-sI www.google.com
Check red0xs site for online status 4 time in a row (just like ping):
sonar -sI genbukan.no-ip.com
Send the contents of payload.dat to www.secursite.com every 5 minutes:
sonar -c -1 --scan_delay=300 -p ppayload.dat -sI
www.secursite.com
Send an ACK probe to googles webserver every second.
sonar --scan_delay=1 -c -1 -sA www.google.com -pp80
Enhancements:
- src/mutex.h, src/plugin.h, src/types.h, libltdl/configure, plugins/network_icmp.h, doc/Makefile.in, Makefile.in, doc/Makefile.am: Major documentation update, more to come.
- plugins/rfc793.h, plugins/rfc793.c: Removed the bloody thread (which was causing so many problems) from the ack scan

OglExt 1.2.2

OglExt 1.2.2

OglExt is a free OpenGL extension library. more>>
OglExt is a free OpenGL extension library, enabling the easy access of all functionality up to OpenGL version 2.0 as well as API functions of more than 270 OpenGL extensions. OglExt library was initially written for Microsoft Windows but works for Linux and MacOS X as well.
OpenGL developers for the Windows operating system usually know the problem: The official OpenGL library only supports version 1.1 of the OpenGL specification. However, todays graphics hardware supports OpenGL version 2.0 and a lot OpenGL extensions. To access such functionality, you have to determine the entry point for each function you want to use via wglGetProcAddress() or glXGetProcAddressARB(). Even worse, for Microsoft Windows you have to do this for each OpenGL rendering context, because the entry points may differ for different pixel formats.
By using OglExt, you dont have to care about this anymore, because the extension library manages all the above for over 200 OpenGL extensions.
Enhancements:
- This release fixes a minor bug in the parsing of functions that have pointers as return types.
- Additionally, the project compiles on Visual Studio .NET 2005.

CDRDAO 1.2.2

CDRDAO 1.2.2

CDRDAO is Disk-At-Once Recording of Audio CD-Rs. more>>
Cdrdao records audio or data CD-Rs in disk-at-once (DAO) mode based on a textual description of the CD contents (toc-file).
Recording in disk-at-once mode writes the complete disc, i.e. lead-in, one or more tracks and lead-out, in a single step. The commonly used track-at-once (TAO) mode writes each track independently which requires link blocks between two tracks.
Older CD-recorder models forced a two second pause (pre-gap) between two tracks whereas newer models allow adjusting of the pause length in TAO mode reducing the number of link blocks to a minimal amount.
However, with TAO it is generally not possible to define the data that is written in pre-gaps. But exactly this feature makes audio CD recording interesting, e.g. by creating hidden bonus tracks or track intros in pre-gaps like it is common habit on commercial CDs.
Finally, DAO recording is the only way to write data to the unused R-W sub-channels for e.g. CD-G or CD-TEXT.
Main features:
- Full control over length and contents of pre-gaps (pause areas between tracks). Pre-gaps may be completely omitted, e.g. for dividing live recordings into tracks.
- Control over sub-channel data like:
- catalog number
- copy, pre-emphasis, 2-/4-channel flags
- ISRC code
- index marks
- Support for exact audio, data and mixed mode CD copying.
- Support for R-W sub-channel writing.
- Tracks may be composed of different audio files supporting non destructive cut.
- Accepts WAVE and raw audio files.
- CD-TEXT reading and writing with drives that support it.
- CDDB access to automatically create CD-TEXT data.
- Support for on-the-fly copying.
Enhancements:
- Added device locking for win32 (Giuseppe Corbelli)
- Man page cleanup (Andrew Suffield)
GCDMaster changes:
- Fixed GCC 4.1 compilation issues
- Fixed hang when inserting WAV file

Oliver 1.2.2

Oliver 1.2.2

Oliver (formerly Webshare) is a free, web based FTP front-end, written in PHP and released under the GPL. more>>
Oliver (formerly Webshare) is a free, web based FTP front-end, written in PHP and released under the GPL..
Despite the existance of many similar projects, notably Gollem, it was meant to fulfill specific requirements.
Main features:
- Small and Simple
- This isnt trying to compete with powerful systems like Gollem. It is really only intended to be a functional skeleton for end-users to use and customize. The code should be well commented and easy to understand.
- Javascript optional
- There are bits of javascript here, but theyre all optional. A lot of effort has gone into avoiding javascript here - I wonder if it was worth it ?
- Fast
- Speed is essential and considered more important than features. This is supposed to be usable. If you want bells and whistles youre probably in the wrong place.
- Secure as possible
- Dont laugh! OK the very essence of this concept is insecure, however it should be as secure as possible in the circumstances. Using Oliver instead of FTP should improve the security of your file store.

Tile World 1.2.2

Tile World 1.2.2

Tile World is an emulator of Chips Challenge. more>>
Tile World is an emulation of the game "Chips Challenge". "Chips Challenge" was originally written for the Atari Lynx by Chuck Sommerville, and was later ported to MS Windows by Microsoft (among other ports).

Please note: Tile World is an emulation of the game engine(s) only. It does not come with the chips.dat file that contains the original level set. This file is copyrighted and cannot be freely distributed. The chips.dat file was originally part of the MS version of "Chips Challenge". If you have a copy of this version of the game, you can use that file to play the game in Tile World. If you do not have a copy of this file, however, you can still play Tile World with the many freely available level sets created by fans of the original game, including CCLP2.

"Chips Challenge" is a game made up of both intellectually engaging puzzles and situations demanding fast reflexes. As you might have guessed, it is a tile-based game. The object of each level is simply to get out -- i.e., to find and achieve the exit tile. This simple task, however, can sometimes be extremely challenging.

ruQueue 1.2.2

ruQueue 1.2.2

ruQueue provides a ticket tracking system written in PHP/MySQL. more>>
ruQueue provides a ticket tracking system written in PHP/MySQL.

The typical ruQueue use-case would be: an end user calls the Help Desk with an issue; a consultant creates a ticket describing the issue; the ticket is placed in a queue appropriate for the issue; the watcher of the queue is then notified of the ticket; the watcher resolves the issue, contacts the end user, and the ticket is then closed.

It has a variety of features to help you solve your problems in the above queue-based style.

You can use this web-based software to track any kind of request made to your organization. The typical ruQueue use-case would be:

.An end user calls the Help Desk with an issue.
.A consultant creates a ticket describing the issue.
.The ticket is placed in a queue appropriate for the issue.
.The watcher of the queue is then notified of the ticket.
.The watcher resolves the issue, contacts the end user, and the ticket is then closed.
