A Simple Version Control System is an easy to install and easy to to use version/revision control system.
ASVCS differs from most other version control systems in that ASVCS is designed to keep track of files in place. ASVCS does not allow any changes to be made to files, all changes require the users to change files externally with FTP or SSH access.
ASVCS is very easy to setup and use. Users do not need to work with repository, branches, commit and check-out files. All a user needs to do is upload the changes files and click Update or if enabled just wait for it to be updated automatically.

Slimserver Control is a Amarok script that can control your Slimserver (play/stop) from Amarok.

Usage:

Run the script. On first run, it will ask for the Slimserver IP address, port and the Squeezebox MAC address. If in doubt for the answers, browse to your Slimserver home page, then, while playing a song, move your mouse over the "Play" button. You should see in the status bar of your browser a URL similar to this one:

In this example:

Slimserver IP adddress = localhost

Slimserver port = 9000

Squeezebox MAC address = 00%3A04%3A20%3A06%3A9c%3Aaa

VolumeControl is a audio mixer for GNU/Linux.
Volume Control project requires OSS or ALSA with OSS /dev/mixer compatibility (for now) from the Linux kernel.
The GTK interface provides ease of use in adjusting volume levels.
Features to be added before version 1.0:
- add full ALSA support
- add volume themes
- additional testing
Enhancements:
- Command line arguments have been added.
- The GUI can be bypassed by using command line arguments.
- This makes volumecontrol useful for scripts, or for users who prefer adjusting levels without a GUI.

The tools aim toward a set of codes and algorithms for monitoring noise signal and modulation and reducing them using active noise control priciples.

Active noise control and soundproofing is a relativly recent development (first researched around 30 years ago), and has been in constant development for many and varied situations and applications.

The basic concept of active noise control is the aplication of equal and opposite force to cancel out vibration.

The project attempts to provide a starting point and library for experimentation into various methods of digital signal processing for active noise reduction and soundproofing.

Noise cancellation has been used in many environments currently active control is best used in constant vibrations with lower frequencys.

The principle is of controlling the noise level by adding an equal and opposite sound to the noise in the environment. The basic principle may be simple but the actual effectivness depends on many environmental factors.

Generally simplistic out of phase sound wave is used which works to some extent and requires little processing (a simple XOR with -1) this will tend to leave a large number of artifacts as the amplitude of higher frequency components (above i->o delay time) rises.

This is a script for those who do not wish to use Ubuntu CE but would like to use the web content filtering that is available in Ubuntu CE and a script that will install the Dansguardian GUI to an Ubuntu system that is already using Dansguadian.

How to run the script:
1. Download the script archive.
2. Right click on the archive and select Extract Here.
3. Double click the "install_me" file.
4. Select "Run in Terminal".
5. Enter your password when prompted.
6. Follow the onscreen prompts.
Once you have finished running the script immediately reboot your computer. Dansguardian WILL NOT function correctly until after you reboot. Your original sources.list file will be restored when the script is finished.
*Note: This is a powerful script. It will be making changes to your system and should be USED AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

***Note: This script should only be used on Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft). The script has only been tested on a fresh install of Ubuntu 6.10 (Edgy Eft). Results may vary with different configuration settings.
****Note: You may see a few errors during the script regarding dansguardian and clamav. These should be ignored. Once you reboot your computer these configuration issues will be resolved.

AJAX Tree Control is a modified version of SilverStripes tree control. It adds dynamic loading of child nodes via AJAX.

The default implementation uses the prototype library to make dynamic requests, but this behavior can be overridden by setting functions on the global Tree object.

There are a few demo Ruby on Rails applications included in the distribution that show how to use and customize the tree.

Device Control Device is a platform independent remote telescope and device control program compatible with the INDI standard (see http://indi.sourceforge.net/).

This program is a client (a user interface) and provides functions to control devices connected to a remote system that is running an INDI server.

The features and the structure of the GUI are similar to the Kstars INDI client. The only advantages are support for Windows and lower resource requirements.
