Quick RSS project quickly adds a RSS feed to a web-based news aggregator.

It adds a "Add RSS feed to..." menu to the right-click context menu, allowing you to quickly add a RSS feed to a web-based news aggregator.

While obviously being on early stages on development and pretty much unfinished it offers a lot of functionality of desktop application while staying on server-side with all the benefits it provides.

Ive also not modified anything in the Script, I just put in the right URLs and made the header.

Hint: If you install it, and you only see a blank applet, refresh it with a right-click and Refresh Theme.

fetchrss polls weblogs (rss feeds) and e-mails the updates, one message per updated entry.

The effect is comparable to the weblog author e-mailing you personally. fetchrss can run in the background on your desktop or server.

Combine this with procmail to filter blog updates into their own folder in your IMAP account.
