Junk Mail Buffering Agent 0.5.5
Junk Mail Buffering Agent is a tool for preventing delivery of email until the sender has confirmed their address. more>>
Junk Mail Buffering Agent is a tool for preventing delivery of email until the sender has confirmed their address.
Junk Mail Buffering Agent can be used in conjunction with a spam filter to prevent delivery of spammy-looking email unless the sender is confirmed as valid.
jmba is designed to be used in conjunction with a spam filter such as QSF and the mail processor procmail. When the spam filter says it thinks an email is spam, it can be passed to jmba.
jmba will queue it and send an email to the sender containing a key; if the sender replies, the original email is "unfrozen" from the queue and delivered.

Pcal and lcal are calendar-generation programs which produce nice-looking PostScript output.
Pcal is usually used to generate monthly-format (one month per page) calendars with optional embedded text and images to mark special events (e.g. holidays, birthdays, etc). It can also generate yearly-format (one year per page) calendars.
Lcal generates a graphical lunar phase calendar for an entire year (see below).
Both programs were previously released by Andrew W. Rogers, whose web page has disappeared.
Pcal supports the following languages:
- Catalan
- Czech
- Danish
- Dutch
- English
- Esperanto
- Estonian
- Finnish
- French
- German
- Greek
- Hungarian
- Italian
- Latvian
- Lithuanian
- Polish
- Portuguese
- Romanian
- Russian
- Spanish
- Swedish
- Ukrainian
Enhancements:
- Fixed the bugs described in the Bugs/Problems in (now-obsolete) Pcal 4.9.1 section (see the link in the Notes On Obsolete Releases of Pcal section, below).
- Added Polish language support, thanks to a patch from Dominik Chiron Derlatka.
- Added Dutch language support, thanks to a patch from Ewald Beekman.
- Added Romanian language support, thanks to a patch from Claudiu Costin.
- Added Danish language support, thanks to a patch from Kenneth Geisshirt.
- Eliminated certain compile-time warnings that occurred in a GCC 3.4.2 + Solaris build environment, thanks to a report from David Mathog.

XMMS Jogdial Plugin 0.1
XMMS Jogdial Plugin is an XMMS plugin for the Sony Vaio PCG-C1XS. more>>
XMMS Jogdial Plugin is an XMMS plugin for the Sony Vaio PCG-C1XS. It allows the user to use the jogdial to control volume, playback, and the playlist.
XMMS Jogdial Plugin is known to work on PCG-C1XS, but probably also works on other Sony Vaio C1 series picturebooks with a jogdial.
This is a plugin for controlling XMMS with the Sony Vaio PCG-C1XS Jogdial. Its based on the "helloword" plugin by iso:crash and using Andrew Tridgells "capture" program SPIC/jogdial management.
- You can use the jogdial for volume control (rotation up or down) on 5% steps.
- You can use the jogdial for playlist control (pressed rotation up or down).
- You can use the jogdial for PLAY/PAUSE control (press).

KXplayer 0.2 pre1
KXplayer is a very simple media player, based on xine. more>>
KXplayer is a very simple media player, based on xine. Its my hobby-project - just a way to get a better knowledge of KDEs internals.
Besides I wanted to learn programming C++ and since I believe the best way to learn programing is to write a program, I just made my mind to write a multimedia player.
Since it is a player, this word had to be in present in the title. The K and X appered there because of KDE (interface) and XINE (backend).
I took the decision to write a player because I needed one. I needed a good media player for KDE (something like XMMS with KDE inderface), which would be working as reliably as possible.
At present my PC is a 750MHz Duron with 128MB RAM and its almost imposible to work in OpenOffice.org and listen to MP3/OGG at the same time. Running XMMS and OpenOffice 1.x together on my Mandrake results in sound fragmentation.
For some time Ive been using boombox (you can find it in kde-apps). It is based on xine and I found it working better than xmms - almost no fragmentation. Unfortunately boomboxs interface is a bit strange (IMHO) and its not saving the equalizer settings (very annoying).

TalkSoup is a fully configurable graphical IRC client for both GNUstep and Mac OS X.
Its simplistic interface is made extremely powerful by the fact that all parts of the IRC client are implemented as runtime-loaded plugins, so additional plugins can be made to further extend TalkSoup.
TalkSoup supports a tabbed interface, DCC file transfer, and most common features found in other IRC clients.

XMMS Now Playing plugin 0.1.4
XMMS Now Playing plugin outputs information of the song currently being played in XMMS to specified text files. more>>
XMMS Now Playing plugin outputs information of the song currently being played in XMMS to specified text files. It supports ID3 tags (using libid3tag from MAD project) and has some other bells and whistles.
This is a now playing plugin for XMMS, replacement for song_change.so
This is a really quick hack, but it works for me.
song_change.so (song change plugin) is included in XMMS package and provides
somewhat relative functionality, but with some limitations.
Improvements:
1. support for id3/id3v2 tags via libid3tag from MAD
2. support for additional conditions (if paused, if playing, etc..) not just playing/end of playlist reached.

Halipeto 2.0
Halipeto is a system for generating web pages from templates and a database. more>>
Halipeto is a system for generating web pages from templates and a database. The project includes support for a simple database based on text files and could easily be extended to access information via SQL.
In other words, its a Haskell based Content Management System (a rather simple, but very flexible one).
Demonstration code and data is included to generate a part of the pancito web site.
Templates are XHTML with additional element attributes. Attributes are associated with Haskell functions. So, for example:
< p hal:text="hello {customer.name}" / >
is transformed to (asuming that the database contains the value "andrew" for customer.name):
< p >hello andrew< /p >
More complex functionality, including iterating over data, is also available. The system can be extended further by adding user-defined Haskell functions.
Enhancements:
- Updated to use new package names for HaXml.
