Free web user interface software for linux

General Graphics User Interface is an effort to produce a common graphical user interface for any command-line program.

It uses a wizard-like input front end to collect the information needed. It then calls the desired program automatically with all the necessary options.

The user is able to point&click on various options and select them in a convenient way. In order to create a new user-interface, a user doesnt need to know a programming language, since there is a graphical editor for new GGUI "scripts".

Perlbug::Interface::Web is a web interface to perlbug database.

Squid Users Manager is a web-enabled and intuitive user interface written upon Ruby on Rails web development framework that manager Squid Proxy NCSA auth users across MD5 digest files.
The project is Open Source and distributed under the terms of the GPL licence.

PureUserAdmin provides a Web-based Pure-FTPd user administration system.
PureUserAdmin is a Web-based aplication for easily managing the virtual users for Pure-FTPd servers, although it should be possible to use it with other FTP servers as long as they get user account information from MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Web Diary is a Web-based multi-user CGI diary applet. It includes scripts for allowing users to make entries publicly viewable, easy administration, and user preference editing.

There are two changes to the database structure in this release and is very simple:

1. There is a new table (see diary.tbls), categories, and two pieces of information that needs to go in there. Nothing too complicated.
2. There needs to be one column added to, and one column removed from entries. You can accomplish this via something like:

update entries set entFCat=2 where entFIsPublic=1
alter table entries drop entFIsPublic

Though, as usual, you might be wise to make a backup, though this is what I did, and didnt have a problem with it. What this does, in order, is 1) creates the new column, 2) preserves the public entries.
3) gets rid of the old column.

Other than that, I dont recall any signigicant changes that were made in
thi version that will affect the database.

Yafumato Web Messenger is a Web-based instant messenger client. Users can connect to supported instant messenger services using only a Web browser via HTTP (or HTTPS).
The Yafumato server connects to the messengers by proxy and provides the Web interface to the user, allowing instant messaging from computers where a desktop client cannot be used.
Yafumato Web Messenger is currently alpha software; as such, it has minimal error handling and is not feature complete.
Enhancements:
- The database is now an optional package; users can now login using messenger credentials rather than single sign-on using the database.
- Messenger session handling has been improved; any active messenger sessions are restored upon signin.
- Unstable messenger sessions can be disconnected and replaced using the new "Reset Messenger" link on the status page.
