OBEXFTP Front-end 0.6.1
OBEXFTP Front-End is a Java Swing application that acts as a GUI for the obexftp project. more>>
OBEXFTP Front-End is very effective Java Swing application that uses the ObexFTP under the hood to make easier to manipulate the file system of OBEX-enabled devices.
The Open OBEX project, which is an open source project hosted in SourceForge.net, is the most successful implementation of the OBEX (OBject EXchange) protocol for Open Source Unix-based Operating Systems. Besides, it supports a wide range of devices of different models and vendors.
The only bad thing about this project is that the Open OBEX is a set of command-line programs, and they are not so friendly to the end users. We have been using the Open OBEX for some time, and we felt the need of a friendly user interface to make things easier for us - the users.
So, ObexFTP front-end is a simple - but nice - Java Swing application that uses ObexFTP under the hood to make easier to manipulate the file system of OBEX-enabled devices.
Main features:
- navigate through the devices files;
- create folders in the device;
- send file(s) to the device;
- download file(s) to your computer;
- delete files and folders;
The ObexFTP has been tested in the following Operating Systems:
- Slackware 12.0
- Ubuntu 7.0.4
If youre successfully running ObexFTP front-end in other Operating System than those listed here, please let us know!

Console Xine Front End 0.9.2
Console Xine Front End (CXFE) is an extremely simple front end for Xine. more>>
Console Xine Front End (CXFE) is an extremely simple front end for Xine. It is meant to be comfortable for people used to MPlayer.
So why not just use MPlayer?
While MPlayer is an excellent movie player, its dvd playback capabilties has been lacking for a long time. Besides, choice is a good thing :-) To tell the truth, CXFE was mainly created as another movie player for MMS.
Current command line parameters:
-vo < driver > Set video out driver (dxr3/xv/xshm/fb)
-ao < driver > Set audio out driver (alsa/oss)
-i < driver > Set control driver (lirc) Keyboard is enabled at all times)
-fs Start cxfe in fullscreen
< mrl > Valid xine MRL (ex: dvd:/) Up to 1000 MRLs are allowed
-v Prints cxfe version and exits
-d Start cxfe with deinterlacing plugins on
-p Specify custom deinterlacing plugin to use
--help Prints this help
Example: cxfe -vo xv -ao alsa -i lirc -dev /dev/dvd dvd:/)

CSound Front-End 3.2.2
CSound Front-End is a clean and efficient CSound GUI. more>>
The CSound Front-End provides CSound users with a GUI with a clean and efficient layout.
The main window has been redesigned. The engine input frame is a mutant widget that can accomodate different styles of input selection (in the picture we have orc/sco pair, all-in-one .csd file and orc/generator) as well as most kinds of orc/sco pre-processing.
At the moment you switch from between the input frames using the +/- buttons (ugly!). Settings are saved separately for each frame. From the programmers point of view, writing a pre-processing plug-in now means to write a new engine input frame class.
The option window is still the same. As general GUI design guide line, Im trying to use few complex windows instead of 10s of little windows.
As side effect of the routing re-design, the logger window as been simplified. From the only menu available you can still start an external generator, assigning the logged engine as default route.

Web Domain Manager 0.05
Web Domain Manager is a script to add and delete domains from one or many servers. more>>
Web Domain Manager is a PHP based product to add in a new domain to a server, by just filling out the domain name and putting in the ip, username, and password it will setup the new domain on the server by doing the following:
- Adding the config to Apache
- Adding a new user to the system for FTP Access
- Copying over a default site if you have one available
- Adding the domain into Qmail/vpopmail if you want that setup
- Makes the config file for awstats
- Also makes a file you can add into cron to update awstats automaticly
- Restarts apache with the new config
- Runs from cron every minute to make adding the domains near real time
The Script is made up of two parts, the backend script (AddDomainScript-0.05) which runs from cron every minute and adds any new domains that need added.
And then you need a front end script, I am going to have three of them, One for a administrator, One for a Reseller, and one where a customer could signup on your website.
If you have more than one webserver you just need a copy of the backend script running from each of those servers and it will check a central database for the updates so you can control an unlimited amount of server from just one frontend script, so administrating your servers is all done from one page!

SA Web Framework 0.3
SA Web Framework project is a complete PHP application framework, based on the Front Controller Pattern. more>>
SA Web Framework project is a complete PHP application framework, based on the Front Controller Pattern.
SA stands for SkyApp? and is the framework which we developed and which we are using here at Skyweb.
SA is open source and released under LGPL license which means you can use it for free.
SA relies heavily on PEAR which gives us access to some nice features like mime mail handling, independent database abstraction layer, destructors, database session storing and many more.
SA was developed and tested using PHP 4.4.0.
Enhancements:
- The whole application stack has been rewritten in order to take advantage of the PHP5 object model.
- Some new classes and interfaces were introduced and the existing ones were completely rewritten.
- A new Page handling concept was implemented.
- The default page class now extends Smarty.

The bastard disassembler 0.17
The bastard disassembler is a disassembler for linux/unix platforms. more>>
The bastard disassembler is a disassembler written for x86 ELF targets on Linux. Other file formats/CPUs can be plugged in. It has a command-line interface and is meant to be used as a backend or engine. Support for controlling the disassembler via pipes is provided. Note that this disassembler does not rely on libopcodes to do its disassembly. Rather, the libi386 plugin is a standard .so that can be reused by other projects.
This interpreter can be used interactively, it can be fed commands via STDIN [just like a scripting interpreter], and it can be communicated with via a pair of FIFOs. Now, on top of this any number of UI front ends can be stacked -- ncurses console front ends, Gtk X front-ends, Tk front ends, etc. It is the reponsibility of the front-ends to display the information obtained by querying the disassembler, supplying syntax highlighting, displaying strings, xrefs, etc; however the disassembler will retain all of this information, do all of the brute processing, and will provide any of the information when requested.

Apt-get Install / Remove Packet 1.0
Apt-get Install / Remove Packet is a tool to install/remove packets with debian apt-get. more>>
Apt-get Install / Remove Packet is a tool to install/remove packets with debian apt-get.
About Apt-Get:
Advanced Packaging Tool, or APT, is a package management system used by Debian and its derivatives. APT was originally designed to work with .deb packages on Debian systems, but it has since been modified to work with RPM packages via apt-rpm, and to run on other operating systems such as Mac OS X (see fink). On systems with package management based on .deb, such as Debian, APT is a front-end for dpkg.
APT simplifies the process of installing and removing software on Unix systems, by automating the retrieval, (from the Internet, local network, or CD) the configuration, the compiling (sometimes) and the installation of software from APT sources.
There is no apt program per se; APT is a C++ library of functions that are used by several command line programs for dealing with packages, most notably apt-get and apt-cache.
APT front-ends can upgrade the system or specific packages. Packages can be installed or removed. When installing one or several packages, APT front-ends can list the dependencies of these packages, ask the administrator if packages recommended or suggested by newly installed packages should be installed too, automatically install dependencies and perform other operations on the systems packages to allow the installation of the packages. Similarly, to update one or several packages, front-ends can install, remove or update other packages.
APT is often hailed as one of Debians best features, giving Debian the reputation of being a "pain to install, but a joy to maintain", although with Debian 3.1 and its Debian-Installer, Debians installation might be too easy nowadays to keep this true.

Quicktime 4 for Linux 2.2
Access uncompressed Quicktime movies the easy way. more>> Quicktime 4 Linux was the first convenient way to read and write uncompressed Quicktime movies on Linux. Today Quicktime 4 Linux is intended mainly for content creation and uncompressed movies. These usually arise during the production phase and not the distribution phase of a movie. It has improvements in colormodel support, bit depth, accuracy, reliability, and codecs, while not stressing economy.
FEATURES
Quicktime 4 Linux is the foundation for many of the features of Cinelerra. It includes several front ends to encoders and decoders which are used by applications directly.
DV FRONT END
Included in Quicktime for Linux is a front end for the libdv engine. This front end was started when libdv was really crude. Since then, libdv has gotten better but the abstraction layer remains.
JPEG FRONT END
A parallel JPEG engine using libjpeg is implemented with a front end. This uses 2 processors for field based JPEG compression and 1 processor for frame based compression. It also supports some common marker operations.
COLORSPACE CONVERSION
A general colorspace converter implements colorspace conversion with nearest neighbor scaling for the large number of nonstandard colorspaces that Cinelerra uses.
STEP UP TO THE MICROSOFT
Quicktime 4 Linux reads and writes some AVI files. AVI support has grown over the years, since this is of course the standard on Linux, but is continuously evolving since AVI is not consistent. Currently it reads and writes reasonably compatible AVI files less than or greater than 2GB. The AVI mode supports MJPG, DV, and some compressed codecs.
CODECS
Be aware of one thing: Quicktime for Linux wont read any of the movies you download from the internet. Quicktime is a wrapper for many different kinds of compression formats. What you knew as "Quicktime 4", "Quicktime 5", "Quicktime 6", are really different distributions of compression formats. The codecs we support are mainly uncompressed.<<less

Its a library, intended for other developers to use to build Java applications. Jackcess is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Take a look at our Frequently Asked Questions for more info.
Enhancements:
- Handling of skipped rows has been fixed.
- When reading multi-page table def, the buffer is flipped before parsing.
- Table names are treated as case insensitive; stored table names are used when instantiating tables.
- Databases and tables are iterable.
- Uppercase names are used when adding text columns to indexes, which fixes a long standing problem with table names starting with lowercase characters (and other situations where tables could not be opened in Access).
- A hack that forced every table name to have an uppercase first character has been removed.
- Reading multi-page long binary values has been implemented.

DungeonMaker-Lib 2.03
DungeonMaker-Lib is a fork of the project DungeonMaker, which has been abandoned. more>>
DungeonMaker-Lib is a fork of the project DungeonMaker, which has been abandoned. A fork was chosen as changes needed to be made to the original code to more easily accommodate scripting front-ends. The code forks from their 2.02 release.
This C++ library "grows" dungeons for use in isometric games using artificial life algorithms. It is a fork of the existing DungeonMaker project, which has been abandoned.
Desiring to create a Perl front-end to the library, I decided to fork as I wanted to make some changes to the code itself.
The code is forked from their v2.02 release. The major change in the current release is the incorporation of the original main.cpp into the DungeonMaker object itself as a new generate() method.
This makes it much easier to develop front-ends. Further changes are forthcoming. Soon the Swig interface file and Perl front-end will be added to the release with other interfaces hopefully to follow.
This project is brand-new and thus the website and other documentation is somewhat thin, but will expand over time.
Enhancements:
- All changes from the DungeonMaker-Lib fork were merged with the main DungeonMaker tree.
- A preliminary Perl front-end was released.
