Kwatch is a graphical KDE 2.0 user interface for watching log files.
This utility is a port of kwatch 0.3 by Ralph C. Weichert to KDE2/3.
Basically it is a tail -f with a graphical KDE user interface for watching log files.
Enhancements:
- kwatch/kwatchconf.h (DEFAULT_IDLETIMEOUT): default set to 300 s.
- kwatch/prefs.cpp (kwatchPrefs): add input field "Reopen idle timeout".

- (timeout_idle): new slot for timer m_idle timeout signal.
- (timeout): restart m_idle, if text was read from a log file.
- kwatch/klogwidget.h (class KLogWidget): added new QTimer *m_idle member.
- kwatch/klogwidget.cpp (createPopupMenu): removed call to
- QTextEdit::createPopupMenu(), use QCursor::pos(). The position passed in arg pos is the relative position in the KLogWidget, not the absolute position on screen.

Zapping is a TV viewer for the Gnome desktop. Zapping program runs on Linux Icon Linux, FreeBSD Icon FreeBSD and Solaris.

With Zapping and a TV card you can watch TV, take screenshots, and record video and audio. Zapping has a deinterlacer and a Teletext viewer built in and supports Closed Caption and Teletext subtitles. Got a remote control? Zapping supports LIRC too.

Whatson is a series of scripts used to view and manage tv listings.

Whatson project works like this, data is downloaded via XMLTV and is placed into a MySQL database, then PHP scripts are viewed through a web browser to display and manage the listings.

wmail is a Window Maker docklet watching your inbox, which is either a ordinary mbox or a directory conforming to qmails Maildir format.
It provides a nice little GUI displaying some useful pieces of information about your inbox (as many other nice wm-apps doing nearly the same thing...).
Per default it uses the $MAIL environment-variable to locate the inbox you are using, other mailing mechanisms like POP or IMAP are not supported - use a tool like fetchmail to retrieve POP- or IMAP-based mail.
Enhancements:

- Status field content recognition enhanced: now you can supply the content of a status field that markes your email as read. This is due to different behaviour of different mbox readers
- pine seems using "ro" to mark a mail as read. The given value is substring-matched.

K ISDN Watch is a universal ISDN monitor for KDE 3, and can be used with each AVM ISDN-Controller and the CAPI4Linux driver.
K ISDN Watch is an "open source" program: the complete source code is available under the GNU Public License. The program is based on the ISDN monitor "kimon", written by Markus Dahlweid for I4L (ISDN4Linux) and the HiSax driver. K ISDN Watch can be used in all Linux distributions.

MythTV project is a suite of programs that allow you to build the mythical home media convergence box on your own using Open Source software and operating systems.
MythTV is a project aiming to create a homebrew set-top box. The end goal is to have a nice interface for watching TV, recording shows, listening to music, etc., all displayed on a TV and controlled by a remote.
Main features:
- Basic live-tv functionality. Pause/Fast Forward/Rewind "live" TV.
- Support for multiple tuner cards and multiple simultaneous recordings.
- Distributed architecture allowing multiple recording machines and multiple playback machines on the same network, completely transparent to the user.
- Compresses video in software using rtjpeg (from Nuppelvideo) or mpeg4 (from libavcodec). Full support for Hardware MPEG-2 encoder cards (Hauppauge PVR-250 / PVR-350). Preliminary support for DVB cards and the new pcHDTV tuner card.
- Support for the (very nice looking) hardware MPEG-2 decoder and TV out present on the Hauppauge PVR-350.
- Completely automatic commercial detection/skipping
- Grabs program information using xmltv.
- A fully themeable menu to tie it all together.
The television portion allows you to do the following:
- You may pause, fast-forward and rewind live Television.
- You may install multiple video capture cards to record more than one program at a time.
- You can have multiple servers, each with multiple capture cards in them. All servers are centrally managed and all programs are scheduled by the Master backend.
- You can have multiple clients (called "frontends" in MythTV parlance), each with a common view of all available programs. Any client can watch any program that was recorded by any of the servers. Clients can be diskless and controlled entirely by a remote control.
- You may use any combination of standard analog capture card, MPEG-2, MJPEG, DVB or HDTV capture devices. With appropriate hardware, MythTV can control set top boxes, often found in digital cable and satellite TV systems.
- Program Guide Data in North America is downloaded from Zap2It.com, a subsidiary of Tribune Media Services. This free service is called DataDirect, and provides MythTV almost two weeks of scheduling information. Program Guide Data in other countries is obtained using XMLTV. MythTV uses this information to create a schedule that maximizes the number of programs that can be recorded if you dont have enough tuners.

Domino Blast is a hybrid driving and destruction game with a childrens toys theme. Its environments consist of buildings constructed from domino tiles and a player-controllable toy car. The objective of the game is to wreak as much havoc as possible, within a time limit.

Its game-play is simplistic yet satisfying; similar to the satisfaction gained from watching a tumbling Jenga tower, except the objective is to tumble the tower, rather than slowly deconstruct it. As the game progresses, levels become more dense and the buildings that inhabit them become larger and more complex.
