XLV is intended to be the middle-ware implementation of multimedia streams for Linux. It is extensively based on plugins and dynamic-linking. For the moment, XLV is in active development and contains many features:

Ccaudio is a C++ class library for audio manipulation.

Ccaudio is a simple, highly portable, stand-alone, C++-based framework for manipulation of audio data.

Its goal is to be a C++ framework that as useful as audiofile or sndfile is for C programming, and to cover various generic and useful manipulations of audio data as well as audio file access. ccaudio compiles both under Unix and Win32 systems.

Torus is a simple game inspired by Torus for DOS. The object of Torus is to clear falling toruses by aligning toruses with the same color on one of several protruding pipes (the game concept is similar to Tetris(R)). It is written in C++ with Qt and STL. Torus for win32 is written in C++ with VXCL.

VK Tafe is a program that parses and analyzes MPEG-2 transport streams (e.g., DVB, ATSC, etc.).

Guitone is a Qt-based, cross-platform graphical user interface for the distributed version control system monotone (http://venge.net/monotone).
Guitone project aims towards full implementation of the monotone command line interface and is specially targeted at beginners.
Enhancements:
- This release fixes build problems in release builds.
- Guitone also no longer hangs when a workspace is loaded on Win32.
- It should be possible now to build and run guitone on 64-bit machines properly.

Secret Rabbit Code (aka libsamplerate) is a Sample Rate Converter for audio. One example of where such a thing would be useful is converting audio from the CD sample rate of 44.1kHz to the 48kHz sample rate used by DAT players.
SRC is capable of arbitrary and time varying conversions ; from downsampling by a factor of 256 to upsampling by the same factor. Arbitrary in this case means that the ratio of input and output sample rates can be an irrational number. The conversion ratio can also vary with time for speeding up and slowing down effects.
SRC provides a small set of converters to allow quality to be traded off against computation cost. The current best converter provides a signal-to-noise ratio of 97dB with -3dB passband extending from DC to 96% of the theoretical best bandwidth for a given pair of input and output sample rates.
Since the library has few dependencies beyond that provided by the standard C library, it should compile and work on just about any operating system. It is know to work on Linux, MacOSX, Win32 and Solaris. With some relatively minor hacking it should also be relatively easy to port it to embedded systems and digital signal processors.
In addition, the library comes with a comprehensive test suite which can validate the performance of the library on new platforms.

Its an easy to learn game which can be played by anyone.
Currently it is implemented using the FOX GUI toolkit, which allows it to be ported with ease to both X11 (over Linux, BSD, etc.) and Win32.
