Free visitors software for linux

Visitors is a very fast web log analyzer for Linux, Windows, and other Unix-like operating systems. It takes as input a web server log file, and outputs statistics in form of different reports. The design principles are very different compared to other software of the same type:
No installation required, can process up to 150,000 lines of log entries per second in fast computers (20MB/s with my log files average length).
Designed to be executed by the command line, output html and text reports. The text report can be used in pipe to less to check web stats from ssh.
Support for real time statistics with the Visitors Stream Mode introduced with version 0.3.
To specify the log format is not needed at all. Works out of box with apache and most other web servers with a standard log format (see the documentation for more information on the format).
Its a portable C program, can be compiled on many different systems. Binaries for Windows systems are in the Download section of this page.
The produced html report doesnt contain images or external CSS, is self-contained, you can send it by email to users.
Visitors is free software (and of course, freeware), under the terms of the GPL license. You dont need to pay to use it. ISPs may take advantage of the high processing speed.

Vice Stats is an advanced Web site statistics gathering package. Vice Stats collects data about the resources in a Web site, the visitors to that site, and the referring resources. Vice Stats runs in PHP and stores its data in a MySQL database.
Enhancements:
- The $vs_resourceQuery parameter is properly taken into effect in the Resources tab on the front page.
- The $vs_resourceHost parameter was added for sites that have more than one subdomain.
- There are updates to the browser and IP location databases.

phpMyVisites is a Web traffic analyzer with very detailed reports and advanced graphics. It is not an Apache log analysis tool.
phpMyVisites creates its own logs and it also allows access to more complete statistics. phpMyVisites provides information about visitors, page views, visitor follow-ups, countries of origin, software configurations, referrers, and much more.
It also includes a powerful administration and configuration tool.
Whats New in 2.2 Stable Release:
- A PDF generation file containing all statistics was added.
- An "Average Visits per day" statistic was added along with support for HTTPS secure Web servers.
- The first day calendar and the default language can now be customized.
- 150 new search engines were added.
- Many improvements were made.

ClickSpotter is a real-time web server logfile monitor with IP geolocation support. ClickSpotter project has three main features that differentiate it from the rest of the log file analyzers.
- It processes your Apache access log file in real-time and produces consolidated live reports about your visitors and current page accesses.
- It can pinpoint your visitors and the path they used through the Internet on a worldmap using IP geolocation.
- It is a real desktop application, not just a bunch of generated web pages with a clumsy browser-based interface.

SEOlizer is a GPL application that generates web pages of analysis, from webserver log files (Apache, etc). The seolizer is based on the webalizer code.
Please note that the code is one-night hack, from my point of view its a very very poor quality! It is not recommended to run seolizer on a production server. I have published the seolizer to get some feedback from SEO community. Stable version will be available in several months, after I make clear decision how to implement all required features. Your feedback is appreciated !
Compile seolizer by running make all -C src. Then you can run it using ./seolizer [logfile]. Output will be placed in the current directory.

Fruit Show is a minimalist forum package based on the forums at joelonsoftware.com. Fruit Show is based on the philosophy that social atmosphere is a by-product of software design.
Theres no registration and very few features for visitors. Its skinnable and easy to install. It also contains some unique moderation features.
Fruit Show is intended for small sites that need an easy to use and accessible forum.
Enhancements:
- This release of FruitShow fixes a large number of issues and makes a few improvements to IIS support and support for PHP5.
- Smarter topic locking and improved optimization were added.
