Milter-virus is not a virus scanner. It is a wrapper that can be used with many commercial and freely available virus scanners. Milter-Virust is written completely in C, and requires (few skills??).
It is run-able with the Milter interface, but then will only scan for "double extensions".
If you wish it to scan for more, you need at Ripmime or other tools to extract files from MIME-encoded emails. You also need a (command-line) virus scanner.
The difference between this program and the original is that this is much more configurable via the config file. The original version has the advantage that it is simpler and easier to bugfix.
Enhancements:
- This is a large update.
- Many problems in the statistik module were fixed.
- Some spam protection features were included.

ZIG is a client-server game networking engine. The current main version is "2", and it was launched in July, 2007 with ZIG 2.0.0. This software is free and it is licensed under a BSD-like license.
From the standpoint of ZIG, the graphics renderer, the sound engine and the input handler are all extensions you must provide. You will be able to plug your Allegro, SDL, DirectX, OpenGL etc. stuff into ZIG with ease. ZIG is a cross-platform C/C++ library which depends only on HawkNL versions 1.7 beta 1 or later.
Enhancements:
- This release brings about two years of bugfixes and enhancements, plus documentation rewritten from scratch.
- It includes SCTP-like transport of multiple message streams through a single ZIG client-server connection.
- Each stream enforces a message ordering that is independent of other streams.
- The ZIG streams also allow you to control bandwidth use (if you want to) and to mix reliable and unreliable messages on the same stream.

GKSu is a library that provides a Gtk+ frontend to su and sudo. GKsu project supports login shells and preserving environment when acting as a su frontend.
It is useful to menu items or other graphical programs that need to ask a users password to run another program as another user.
Enhancements:
- Since the last 1.3 version, this is the first high profile stable release of the gksu application.
- Together with the changes of libgksu, gksu now is able to use a global gconf setting to use su or sudo as the backend, handles "wrong password" better, and other things.
- An optional nautilus addon was added, which adds an "Open as administrator" menu item to the nautilus context menu for various files and folders.
- This menu item will open that file using the application that handles its type by default using gksu.

Grafist is a bandwidth utilization viewer. It gets the bandwidth utilization information for network interfaces from the /proc/net/dev file in 15-second periods, and stores it in four data files.
Run "grafist". This will wait the minute to be 0 in modula 5. The results may be seen at http://server_address/grafist/index.php. Also you can select the language at runtime like this "http://server_address/grafist/index.php?lang=LANGUAGE" where LANGUAGE is one of the languages that are supported by grafist.
If you want it to start automaticly when the system start, you should add "grafist &" to /etc/rc.d/rc.local or /etc/init.d/
Enhancements:
- defs.inc has been updated to defs.inc.php so that some parameters can be changed in this file
- Added the ability to set a scaling value for graphing at install time and run time (by editing defs.inc.php)

BrowseX is a free Open Source, cross-platform Web Browser, Mail Program, Talk/Chat client and more. There is a database interface, SQLite, and BrowseX is easily extensible via an API. BrowseX has been written primarily in C and Tcl and clearly demonstrates that Linux applications can indeed bridge to Windows. The user can also dynamically configure any widget, even form fields in web pages, on the fly using Shift-Control-mousebutton. You may also want to look at TML, a CGI and Web Script that BrowseX has built-in. The http://dev.browsex.com/ site now uses the TML CGI to display the BrowseX documentation as TML directly.
For the user, BrowseX has two principle characteristics: resilience and responsiveness. The first comes really as a side effect of using Tcl for all highlevel algorithms. Errors result in popup dialogs rather than crashes. Responsiveness is probably due to lightweight and the widget based implementation which forced clean interfaces between parts.
Precompiled binaries are currently provided for Linux and Win32. The binary is a single standalone executable, but which also contains the Tcl scripts: See Packaging. There is also a unified build script for Linux, for rebuilding from scratch.

Nmonitor is a monitoring tool, by default capable of monitoring via ping, UDP and TCP checks.
It has builtin plugin system so customized scripts can be used to monitor whatever you like eg. oracle tablespaces, diskspace whatever.
This tool was written because I needed a very simple network monitor, and thats what it is, dont expect any miracles from this thing.

BOXit is a small logic game for occasionally. Clear the playing field as far as possible, by dragging same-colored or equivalent tokens one over another, if they are in the same row or column on the playing field.

This is one of the games that are quick to learn but hard to handle. If you have fun in fast pace puzzling, BOXit is just right for you.

BOXit 2.0 is free software in the purposes of the Gnu GPL version 2 or newer.

Mauve project is a system for efficiently constructing multiple genome alignments in the presence of large-scale evolutionary events such as rearrangement and inversion.
Multiple genome alignment provides a basis for research into comparative genomics and the study of evolutionary dynamics on a new scale. Aligning whole genomes is a fundamentally different problem than aligning short sequences.
Mauve has been developed with the idea that a multiple genome aligner should require only modest computational resources. It employs algorithmic techniques that scale well in the amount of sequence being aligned.
For example, a pair of Y. pestis genomes can be aligned in under a minute, while a group of 9 divergent Enterobacterial genomes can be aligned in a few hours.
Enhancements:
- This release includes a new, accurate, and sensitive genome alignment algorithm called progressiveMauve.
- Hundreds of genomes can now be aligned, and rearranged segments conserved in subsets of the genomes can be identified.
- A new annotation search can find features by things like gene name and others.
