Sonic Action Beta 3
Sonic Action is a multiplatform Sonic fangame based on the SRB2 story. more>>
Sonic Action is the first SRB2 Town related game. Anywhere, instead of the standard story that you read everyday, this time the viewpoint is more orientated to Sonic.
But Im not saying that well not appear in the game, nothing of that kind. Im planning to get we appear in the game. So dont ask me about that.
The engine of Sonic Action is incredibly good: you can think that Sega made it. Thats because six months of developing can do wonderful things. And this is not developed using programs such as Game Maker, MFF or TGF, normally used for make fangames, its programmed in C++ with Allegro.
And is more: Tails92 will port the different versions of Sonic Action to other OS like Linux or FreeBSD (Sonic Action is orignally programmed for Windows).
The story is very original, as far as the fangames stories that I know.. But you can get more info in the Sonic Action sections (scroll down the menu).
Enhancements:
- New levels: Badnik City and Eggman Base (the last is incomplete).

Mesh Viewer 0.3.1
Mesh Viewer is an easy to use lightweight application to display triangular meshes from a variety of file formats. more>>
Mesh Viewer is an easy to use lightweight application to display triangular meshes from a variety of file formats (see 3D formats).
Mesh Viewer uses the OpenGL API to render the models. The program was born under the need for quickly displaying reconstructed triangulated meshes. The Mesh Viewer based on an idea and an early elementary implementation from Craig Robertson.
The current version was developed by Helmut Cantzler. Triangular meshes can be displayed texture mapped (optional with bilinear filtering), solid or as a skeleton (full or just the front lines).
The surface normals of the triangles can be displayed optionally. Features (from a different data file) like edges and points can be displayed into the mesh. Loaded models can be rotated, translated and scaled (all done with the mouse). The model is lighted by multiple light sources.
Viewpoints can be saved. Screenshots of the model can be taken (as BMP, JPEG, PNG and so on). The program is able to calculate the texture map for the 3D model (experimental!).
It can read:
- PMesh files (used at the Vision group of the University of Edinburgh)
- GTS files (from the Gnu Triangulation Library)
- Geomview files (only format "OFF")
- PLY files (only ASCII format)
- VRML 1 files (no texture mapping)
- VRML 2 files
- Feature file
- List file
File format descriptions:
The PMesh format begins optional with a header. The first header line consists of "#pmesh". The header ends with the first line not starting with a "#". The data starts with nv lines of the format "v float float float" for the vertices. Follows nf lines of the format "p 3 int int int" for the triangles. Each line contains the three indices of the vertices. The index of the vertices starts at one.
The GTS format is describe shortly. The first line contains three unsigned integers separated by spaces. The first integer is the number of vertices, nv, the second is the number of edges, ne and the third is the number of faces, nf. Follows nv lines containing the x, y and z coordinates of the vertices. Follows ne lines containing the two indices (starting from one) of the vertices of each edge. Follows nf lines containing the three ordered indices (also starting from one) of the edges of each face.
The Geomview formal starts with a header consisting of the format line "OFF" and a second line with three integer numbers. The first integer is the number of vertices, nv, the second is the number of polygons, np, and the third number is typically "0". Following are the nv lines of vertices (each consists of three floats). The other part of the file are np lines of polygons. The first number of each line stands for the size of the polygon. Mesh Viewer just reads polygons consisting of 2 or 3 vertices. Following are a number of indices of the vertices depending on the size of the polygon. The index of the vertices starts at zero.
VRML is only supported partly. The Mesh Viewer extracts only vertices and triangles from VRML files and ignores all other shapes. Shapes in VRML 2.0 are rotated, scaled and translated if necessary. The file name for JPEG texture and texture coordinates are read from VRML 2.0 files if existent.
The Feature file is used to store vertices and edges. A feature file can be loaded beside the mesh to display vertices or edges into the mesh. The first header line consists of "#list". The header ends with the first line not starting with a "#". The lines consists of either vertices or edges. A vertex line consists of the format "fv float float float". A edge line starts with "fe" followed by the x, y and z coordinates for the start and the end vertex.
The List file is only a text file listing n mesh files, which a loaded subsequently as different shapes into one mesh. Lists are useful for displaying a segmentation of a mesh. The first header line consists of "#list". The header ends with the first line not starting with a "#". The following n lines consists of the names for the mesh files (one per line).

Steel Bank Common Lisp 1.0.8
Steel Bank Common Lisp is a common Lisp native compiler. more>>
Steel Bank Common Lisp is a development environment for Common Lisp, with excellent support for the ANSI standard: garbage collection, lexical closures, powerful macros, strong dynamic typing, incremental compilation, and the famous Common Lisp Object System (multimethods and all).
Steel Bank Common Lisp also includes many extensions, such as native threads, socket support, a statistical profiler, programmable streams, and more. These are all available through an integrated, interactive native compiler which feels like an interpreter.
SBCL is unique in being a multiplatform native compiler which bootstraps itself completely from source, using a C compiler and any other ANSI Common Lisp implementation.
Whats New in This Release:
* enhancement: experimental macro SB-EXT:COMPARE-AND-SWAP provides
atomic compare-and-swap operations on threaded platforms.
* enhancement: experimental function SB-EXT:RESTRICT-COMPILER-POLICY
allows assining a global minimum value to optimization qualities
(overriding proclamations and declarations).
* enhancement: closed over variables can be stack-allocated on x86
and x86-64.
* performance bug fix: GETHASH and (SETF GETHASH) are once again
non-consing.
* optimization: slot definition lookup is now O(1). This speeds up
eg. SLOT-VALUE and (SETF SLOT-VALUE) with variable slot names.
* optimization: STRING-TO-OCTETS is now up to 60% faster for UTF-8.
* optimization: ASSOC and MEMBER can now be open-coded for all
combinations of keyword arguments when second argument is constant
and SPEED >= SPACE. In other cases a specialized version is
selected.
* bug fix: using obsoleted structure instances with TYPEP and
generic functions now signals a sensible error.
* bug fix: threads waiting on GET-FOREGROUND can be interrupted.
(reported by Kristoffer Kvello)
* bug fix: backtrace construction is now more careful when making
lisp-objects from pointers on the stack, to avoid creating bogus
objects that can be seen by the GC.
* bug fix: defaulting of values in contexts expecting more than 7
variables now works on x86-64. (reported by Christopher Laux)
* bug fix: modifications to packages (INTERN, EXPORT, etc) are now
thread safe.
* bug fix: (SETF SYMBOL-PLIST) no longer allows assigning a non-list
as the property-list of a symbol.
* bug fix: DEFMETHOD forms with CALL-NEXT-METHOD in the method body,
in EVAL-WHEN forms with both :COMPILE-TOPLEVEL and :LOAD-TOPLEVEL
situations requested, are once again file-compileable. (reported
by Sascha Wilde)

MyPhpMoney 2.0
MyPhpMoney is a tool written in PHP to manage bank accounts thru a web interface. more>>
MyPhpMoney is a tool written in PHP to manage bank accounts thru a web interface.
MyPhpMoney uses mysql to store data and relies on PHPLIB (template, session and database abstraction).
MyPhpMoney is organised around 6 principal modules :
Count book:
- Module in which you enter your operations and balance your accounts.
Schedule of payments :
- The shedule allows you to know the date due on your coming payments. You can also select a month or a year in the schedule and display all the payments dues on this date
Operation and Recipient :
- The assigment of a Operation or a Recipient to each operation allows you to display in the states a summury of the origin and the destination of your money, indexted by Operation or a Recipient . You can also use the Operation or the Recipient module to follow the detailled information as well as the historical account of the operation for each one.
Loan simulation :
- The loan simulator allows you to evaluate the loan conditions. Thanks to your loan simulator, you will be able to answer questions like : the base of the monthly repayment that I can do, what is the maximal sum that I can lend at this actual interest rases?
Backup MySql :
- Although MyPhpMoney automaticly saves all modification that you make on your files, It is recommanded to regulary proceed at sommes backup copies, better on a floppy disk that you will keep in a safe place. Eventhough, you will be able to use your backup copie in case of a harddisk damage or accidental loss of data
Options & Configuration :
- Allow to configure and parameter the program. (setup automatic save, etc ...)
Enhancements:
- The devel version is now version 2.0

Finance::Bank::NetBranch 0.07
Finance::Bank::NetBranch is a Perl module that can manage your NetBranch accounts with Perl. more>>
Finance::Bank::NetBranch is a Perl module that can manage your NetBranch accounts with Perl.
SYNOPSIS
use Finance::Bank::NetBranch;
my $nb = Finance::Bank::NetBranch->new(
url => https://nbp1.cunetbranch.com/valley/,
account => 12345,
password => abcdef,
);
my @accounts = $nb->accounts;
foreach (@accounts) {
printf "%20s : %8s : USD %9.2f of %9.2fn",
$_->name, $_->account_no, $_->available, $_->balance;
my $days = 20;
for ($_->transactions(from => time - (86400 * $days), to => time)) {
printf "%10s | %20s | %80s : %9.2f, %9.2fn",
$_->date->ymd, $_->type, $_->description, $_->amount, $_->balance;
}
}
This module provides a rudimentary interface to NetBranch online banking. This module was originally implemented to interface with Valley Communities Credit Unions page at https://nbp1.cunetbranch.com/valley/, but the behavior of the module is theoretically generalized to "NetBranch" type online access.
However, I do not have access to another NetBranch account with another bank, and so any feedback on the actual behavior of this module would be greatly appreciated.
You will need either Crypt::SSLeay or IO::Socket::SSL installed for HTTPS support to work.

Otk 0.53
Otk is a portable widget library for making graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for application programs. more>>
Otk is a portable widget library for making graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for application programs. Otk project emphasizes simplicity without eliminating capability. Open graphics Tool Kit supports neutrally: Linux, Unix, Microsoft Windows, and Mac OSX. It is based on OpenGL, and C. Otk provides the following basic widgets:
- Panel - The "container" widget.
- Text Label - Text labels.
- Button - Buttons with labels and call-backs to user functions.
- Text Form Box - Accept text with function call-back. Also scrollable editor window.
- Pull-down Menu - Display hierarchical menu-lists with user function call-backs on mouse release.
- Slider Control - Slider control with call-back.
- Sub-windows - Detachable self-managed windows.
- Many other widgets ...
- Gadgets - High level widgets.
Although initially intended for use with C programs, Otk can be accessed from, or extended to, other languages. Otk addresses several issues with previous graphics toolkits, such as X-Windows, X-Motif, MFC, Tcl/TK, Gtk, Awt, Swing, Glow, FLTK, etc..
Otk deviates from previous graphics environments in several important ways.
- Based on OpenGL - Well supported on most platforms. Clients tend to have the right support files. Easily builds on all platforms. Uses graphics card acceleration when available. Common look and feel. Contains internal default font with arbitrary scale, boldness and slant. Additional fonts can be added.
- API designed from application programmers viewpoint - Simplified interface. Sensible defaults. Most common functions require one line. But flexibility is not limited because defaults can be modified.
- Minimal library files - Link to-, or include-, one file.
- Direct window-size % relative layout - Specify positions and sizes as percentage of container window. Resizing is automatic and proportional. Traditional pixel-coordinate or framework modes can also be supported.
- Colors can be expressed directly as r,g,b values. (No indirect color index tables.)
Enhancements:
- Paste from the clipboard was added.
- A fix was mde to disk-draw for elliptical disks and the control-key handler.
- The slider knob was widened.
- A new indicator-light gadget was started.
- Several updates were made to support Otk-GuiBuilder.
