RPitch project is an application that helps users develop a sense of relative audio pitch which is the ability to recognize and name the distance between two musical notes simply by hearing them.

It uses the Java MIDI API to synthesize notes from a wide variety of instruments.

GNU Barcode is a tool to convert text strings to printed bars. GNU barcode supports a variety of standard codes to represent the textual strings and creates postscript output.
Main features:

- Postscript and Encapsulated Postscript output

The Audio File Library provides a uniform and elegant API for accessing a variety of audio file formats, such as AIFF/AIFF-C, WAVE, NeXT/Sun .snd/.au, Berkeley/IRCAM/CARL Sound File, Audio Visual Research, Amiga IFF/8SVX, and NIST SPHERE. Supported compression formats are currently G.711 mu-law and A-law and IMA and MS ADPCM.
Key goals of the Audio File Library are file format transparency and data format transparency. The same calls for opening a file, accessing and manipulating audio metadata (e.g. sample rate, sample format, textual information, MIDI parameters), and reading/writing sample data will work with any supported audio file format. Likewise, the format of the audio data presented to the application need not be like the format of the data contained in the file.

PhareRouge is a GNU/Linux compatible version of the "RedLight Variety Alpha" Japanese-enabled Hotline client and server.

Some new features were also added. PhareRouge uses Java so also runs under Windows and Macintosh.

JasperReports is a powerful open source Java reporting tool that has the ability to deliver rich content onto the screen, to the printer or into PDF, HTML, XLS, CSV and XML files.
It is entirely written in Java and can be used in a variety of Java enabled applications, including J2EE or Web applications, to generate dynamic content.
JasperReports is main purpose is to help creating page oriented, ready to print documents in a simple and flexible manner.

The name scurvy comes from "screen/script" and "vi/vim"

Its a tool that lets you easily write screenplays or scripts in a simple text format, then scurvy will output them in the proper screenplay format.

Scurvy can also import some RTF and Final Draft formats, as well as outputting/converting to a variety of formats as well.

Finally, Ive included some vim syntax files to do coloring of the scurvy input and formal screenplay format.
