Installation:
First make sure that your server is correctly configured to accept file uploads. With sites that use PHP you can make use of the included test.html and upload.php files to test your server configuration.
Depending on the version you have downloaded move dnd.jar, dndlite.jar or dndplus.jar onto your web space. Also move the included php files onto the same location as the jar file. Next open applet.php in your favourite text editor and change the url parameter to match your server-side upload handler. Thats it!
The upload.php is a sample PHP script provided to get you started on drag and drop file upload. You may need to modify upload.php to suite the needs of your website or web application.
If you prefer to use perl as your server side handler please copy upload.cgi to your /cgi-bin/ directory and change permissions to 755. Perl upload handling can be tested with test-perl.html
Each licence of Rad Upload Lite, Rad Upload and Rad Upload Plus allows you to install the applet on exactly one website.
Enhancements:

Thin FTP Upload 2.0
Thin FTP Upload is an FTP upload applet designed for integration with Web applications. more>>
Thin FTP Upload project is an FTP upload applet designed for integration with Web applications.
Do you want to quickly add FTP file upload functionality to your website? Then Thin FTP Applet, a product that can be installed in less than 2 minutes is the product to choose.
To send files using the File Transfer Protocol, all your users have to do is to drag and drop them onto the designated area of the browser. Entire directory tree and a virtually unlimited number of files totalling several giga bytes can be transfered in this manner.
If your server is configued to allow annoymous transfers your users dont even have to login. Else they can login interactively by entering their username and password. Or else you can make it easier for them by using a single predefined username and password for each user so that multiple accounts do not have to be created.
Whats New in 1.02 Stable Release:
- The new version of the applet aims for improved compatibility with a wider range of FTP servers, epecially those servers deployed on Windows.
- The new version includes a subtle change in the way that the applet handles the trailing slash in the URL.
Whats New in 2.0 Development Release:
- Interrupted FTP uploads can now be resumed.
- A new progress monitor has been added.
- The applet loading mechanism has been changed, and the applet can now be configured using HTML parameters.

Download Sentinel++ 2.1.0
Download Sentinel++ is an Anti-leech, download limiter / file manager. more>>
Download Sentinel++ is an Anti-leech, download limiter / file manager, that uses tokens to verify downloads instead of HTTP_REFERER or IP which can be spoofed or changed.
The install is as painless as possible with only one file to upload and execute. The install automatically creates the sub-directories and files, all you need to do is follow the on-screen instructions for permissions.
Security has been the focus throughout development, even the install program is built on the latest recomendations for security. Logging is done with text files and can have errors and alerts sent via email or stored in a txt file.
Downloads can be limited to a certain transfer size per time frame, which can be further broken down into smaller intervals, all with only a couple settings. This helps spread out the limitation to different timezone and prevents all available bandwidth being used in a short period
Main features:
- Completely free (free as in speech);
- Multiple language capability (all text is in config file, no hardcoded messages);
- Download counter file;
- xhtml/css compliant message output, fully customizable;
- Install script for easy setup;
- All user supplied input securely handled;
- Uses tokens to validate download requests. A superior method than .htaccess or http_referer which can be spoofed or limit users with firewalls;
- Tokens are good for a day by default, but can be set to expire at any time in 1 minute increments;
- A log is kept of invalid token attempts and information on tracking down the source;
- All errors and warnings can be written to a log file or sent to an email address;
- Supports unlimited directory structure of downloadable files (no need to specify where a file is located);
- Option to turn off bandwidth protection;
- Option to turn off any error/log report;
- Robust error handling;
- Ability to specify the total amount of transfer (bandwidth) allowed, over the total amount of time;
- Ability to specify interval lengths for download cut-off so all the allowed bandwidth does not go to one time zone / day /hour;
- Ability to put in a ratio of download clicks to actual bandwidth used;
- Log of all download details kept;
- Download log can be auto-archived;
- Ability to specify the download log size before archive;
- Ability to specify the download archive size before deleting;
- Ability to have a warning issued (email or log file) about the archive file reaching its maximum;
- Download count can be tracked in a Mysql database;
- Flood control on user clicks. Ability to set the number of times a user can click on a link in a given interval;
- Ability to allow specific offsite downloads via tokens;
- Pre-made example download page that is xhtml/css compliant;
- Pre-made file manager that displays all files, directories, sizes, downloads, dates, authors and descriptions for each file
- Ability to deny link sharing between browsers.
- Alternative install locations for secure files
- Logs automatically rotated, no on-going maintenance
- Ability to have multiple files with the same name
- Turn-Key install operation. Ready to begin secure downloads in 5 minutes or less;

Easy PHP Upload 2.28
Easy PHP Upload is a PHP upload class that can be used to upload files with a client browser to a remote Web server. more>>
Easy PHP Upload class (the old name) can be used to upload files with a client browser to a remote webserver location.
The features in the first release are: file-extension check, maximum file- size limitation and a flexible error reporting system. The class is extremely easy to use and comes together with full working examples. Sinds the second version is it possible to upload multiple files.
Check the class file for all update information. The version 2.22 (and higher) is compatible with the PHP directive "register_globals=off". NEW functions for the multiple upload function: rename files and filename validation.
With the updated (ver. 2.25) photo upload extension its possible to upload photos (logos) and resize them to the maximum X and Y size.
Enhancements:
- Two more languages (for the messages) were added to the class: Brazilian Portuguese and Bulgarian.
- All translations (except de, nl, en, and fr) are stored in external files.
- The new function to create non-existing directories was not working for the photo upload extension and has been fixed.
- The check_dir() method is more flexible now and can be used for more locations.
- The process_image() method from the photo_upload extension was modified to use this check now.

class.upload.php 0.24
class.upload.php manipulates uploads and images very easily. more>>
class.upload.php manipulates uploads and images very easily. It can convert and resize uploaded images in many ways. It uses the GD library.
How does it work?
- the class constructor upload handles a uploaded file (it can also handle a local file)
some optional parameters can be set up to act on the file during the process
- the process is called with as an argument the destination directory on the server. If some parameters have been set up, the class will rename, resize, convert files and images
- when the uploaded file is not needed anymore, we can delete it using clean.
Why use this class?
- with one uploaded file, you can do as many copies, convertions, resizing you want.
- you can resize each image dimension, or both, keeping the image ratio or not.
- you can choose to resize an image only if it is bigger -or smaller- than the wanted sizes
- you can manipulate the image in many ways, play with colors, add labels and watermarks...
- its use is simplistic but powerful
- a lot of variables are set up during the process. You can retrieve all these values after a process.
- error messages are understandable, and a variable log allows you to see what the class does.
- it is already widely used on Internet
- it is free
Enhancements:
- This release fixes a few bugs and adds some improvements.
- It is now possible to set a background color for the pictures and to use replacement tokens in the text labels.
- Some new cropping options have been implemented.

Railroad Repository 0.2
Railroad Repository provides a standards-based repository for large binary files. more>>
Railroad Repository provides a standards-based repository for large binary files.
Railroad is a standards-based repository for large binary files such as digital media, along with their metadata. It is designed to be easy to integrate with content management systems and other client software.
Many CMS’s are more suitable for document-style content than they are for managing large files. Managing such binary content in a CMS can result in scalability issues and deteriorating performance. Railroad instead is dedicated to the task of managing large files and their metadata.
Railroad can be seamlessly integrated into CMS’s, leveraging the open WebDAV protocol and simple HTTP messaging. While uploads and downloads of files are fully managed by Railroad and thus routed ‘around’ the application server, authorization of who can upload or download is still under full control of the CMS using whatever authorization scheme it needs.
Railroad allows multiple clients (such as CMS’s and DAM systems) to access the resources in the repository at the same time, thus keeping large data files and their metadata centrally managed and shared.
Railroad also makes management of file data on the filesystem easier for the system administrator. Railroad takes care to categorize files of a different type into separate directories. If a system administrator determines one file type is taking up a lot of space, it is simple to move this information off onto another, larger, partition. It is also possible to run multiple repositories in one Apache instance, or on different machines but using the same database.

libband 0.01
LibBand is a simple library wrapper which is useful if you want to limit the bandwidth used by a program. more>>
LibBand is a simple library wrapper written in assembly and C (but I plan to rewrite everything in C) useful if you want to limit the bandwidth used by a program.
It simply overrides some libc functions, using the LD_PRELOAD environment variable, and puts some pauses in the program to clamp the bandwidth at the specified value, for both upload and download operations.
You just have to set UPLOAD_BAND and DOWNLOAD_BAND and run your program, for example:
export LD_PRELOAD=/replace-with-the-path/to/libband.so
export UPLOAD_BAND=1024
export DOWNLOAD_BAND=8192
ftp somewhere.com
The bandwidth must be expressed in bytes/s, and so in the above example, we want the upload band clamped at 1.0 kb/s, the download band at 8.0 kb/s.
Theres a small utility in the scripts/ directory, called lb: you can use it to set everything and start your program from a nice whiptail/dialog environment.
You need NASM to build the binary (but dont worry, a pre-assembled version is included in the package).
Just type "make" to compile, and "make install" to install the library.
Remember that $HOME/lib is the default installation directory, so you usually have to export LD_PRELOAD by using:
export LD_PRELOAD=$HOME/lib/libband.so
The "lb" script is configured to work with this path, but you may change it by editing the script itself (search for the LIBPATH variable).
Please note that at the moment libBand DOESNT WORK with multithreaded and _graphic_ applications.
Enhancements:
- We keep track of sockets by wrapping socket(), accept() and close(). The old fstat() mechanism has been obsoleted.

NomadSync is a utility that allows you to keep the MP3 collection on your Jukebox synchronised with the MP3s on your PC. The user can control the synchronisation process completely. A list is generated of the differences between the MP3 collection on the Jukebox and PC showing the action to be performed. The action can be Leave, Upload to PC, Download to Jukebox, Delete, Upload label, or Download label.
The user can change each action individually, or change all actions in one go. Then pressing "Do Actions" starts the actual transfer.
WMA files are not supported yet.
Enhancements:
- Now runs on libnjb 2.0. The main avantage of this is it runs on more devices (Jukebox Zen Micro, Dell Pocket DJ, Generation 2 Dell DJ)
