UnifiedIO is a Java library providing random access to any data stream (even over HTTP), and giving a clear differentiation between read only and read/write access. Unified I/O is an open source project and is licensed under BSD.

Unified Parallel C, in short UPC, is an extension of the C programming language designed for high performance computing on large-scale parallel machines.

The language provides a uniform programming model for both shared and distributed memory hardware.

The programmer is presented with a single shared, partitioned address space, where variables may be directly read and written by any processor, but each variable is physically associated with a single processor.

UPC uses a Single Program Multiple Data (SPMD) model of computation in which the amount of parallelism is fixed at program startup time, typically with a single thread of execution per processor.

ABSTRACT

AudioFile::Info is a simple way to get track information out of an audio file. It gives a unified interface for extracting information from both MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files.
Some AudioFile::Info plugins also have the ability to write data back to the file.

IOLib-Filters is a filter package for IOLib. IOLib-Filters is mainly an example of how to write filters for IOLib.

IOLib is a portable universal data IO library. Implementations exist in C, C++ and Objective C and for many different platforms (including Linux, Win32, MacOS X and .NET).

IOLib provides a unified interface for accessing different types of data streams. It currently supports file IO, BSD sockets, memory buffers and SOCKS4/5 connections and can be extended with drivers easily.

It has support for different binary formats (Intel, Motorola, PDP) and it supports filters. You can write your own filters (e.g. for encryption or compression) and use them with IOLib.

Mudpit is an intelligent, modular, and reliable spool processor for Snorts unified format.
Enhancements:
- This release adds per-spool configuration variables for SID/Gen map, reference, and class files.
- It improves the logging system, which will log at appropriate priorities.
- It improves autoconf MySQL detection code, and has support for custom plugins supplied at configure time.

Olive is a totally sweet console mode RSS aggregator and newsreader written in Perl with Curses::UI as its toolkit.
The big difference between Olive and other newsreaders is that it takes a time-centric as opposed to site-centric view of newsfeeds.
Olive also tries to stay out of your way as much as possible by eating a minimum of screen real estate and streamlining operations to keep neccessary human interaction to a minimum.
Enhancements:
- A problem with starred story (un)selection was fixed.
- Standard --help and --version command-line arguments have been implemented.
- Licensing has been unified under the Perl license.

Biome is a simulation library aimed at individual-based or agent-based simulations (like Swarm or EcoSim). Biomes features include a fast rng, an event-based scheduling system, Qt classes for graphs and histograms, an analysis framework, a basic persistence framework and many more.
Enhancements:
- An easy-to-use command line parser, a unified parameter class able to read from files or the command line, and a simple SDL canvas class were added.
- Many bugs and compatibility problems were removed.
- Many internal changes were made.
