Free tux racer 0.61 software for linux

Tuxanci is a multiplatform game, inspired by well-known czech game Bulanci (by the SleepTeam Labs team). The game is distributed under the GNU GPL license.
As a programing language for this project we have chosen C. Everything that has anything to do with graphics, sound or fonts, handle the SDL, SDL_image, SDL_mixer and SDL_ttf libraries, all of them distributed also as open source, exactly under GNU LGPL license.
The game
All graphics in both menu and game are original, altough we try to keep the similarity with Bulanci, at both controls and levels.
The menu environment is simple. All you need to set up a game is to choose players name, select a level (map) and go on. In future, we all hope there will be many other things you could set, though the current state is quite easy to use, dont you think so?
Controls
First player (the left side):
W -- move up
S -- move down
A -- move left
D -- move right
< Tab > -- use active weapon (shoot, put the mine, ...)
Second player (the right side):
Up array -- move up
Down array -- move down
Left array -- move left
Right array -- move right
0 (on the numeric keyboard) -- use active weapon (shoot, put the mine, ...)
Enhancements:
- fixed memory leaks
- bug fix, the program sometimes got frozen when Tux collided with a mine
- bug fix, Tux sometimes appeared on the same place
- when Tux teleports, it shows up after some time
- shoot from a pipe gets out after some time
- started commenting the source code (in *.h files)

TuxSaver is a 3D OpenGL screensaver for KDE.
You can see Tux living on a tropical island or on an iceberg. Choose your favorite island in the setupdialogbox !

Tux Football is a 2D top down "Association Football" (Soccer) game.
Tux Football is a great 2D football game for Windows and Linux! Bringing old style gameplay back to the desktop with up to date graphics! For those people who remember and miss old classics such as Amcos Kick Off and Sensible Softwares Sensible Soccer.
Game play is designed to be quick, responsive and fun. You are always in control of the player closest to the ball. The ball is controled via two kick buttons - one for pass, and one for shoot.
Aftertouch can be applied to shots by quickly pressing and holding the direction you want the ball to bend towards. Pushing in the opposite direction to what you kicked the ball makes it raise into the air, pushing in the same direction as the ball makes it dip towards the ground.

eHour is an open source webbased time tracking tool for consultancy companies and other project based businesses. eHours primary objective is to keep time tracking as simple and user friendly as possible while still being very effective at measuring and reporting the amount of time your team spends on a project.
Main features:
- create multiple projects per customer
- assign employees to projects
- have different start and end dates and hourly rates per employee to project assignment
- create default projects to which all employees should be assigned (days off, sick leave, etc.) so you can keep track of those hours as well
- turnover & booked hours reports on all customers, projects, employees, departments or a selection of them
- configure whether you want your employees see their turnover
- seperation of consultant, reporting and administration role.
Enhancements:

Tuxlearnnotes is an educational music arcade game.

Tux Learn Notes is the open source voice controled educational arcade game. You will control tux with your musical instrument/ voice via the computer sound card or by midi and makes points when you hit the correct pitch.

(This game still in very early stages of deveploment)

Cheops is an Open Source Network User Interface. It is designed to be the network equivalent of a swiss-army knife, unifying your network utilities. Cheops is for the network what a file manager is for your filesystem.
Main features:
- Organize your network into convenient pages so you can place relevant portions together, and quickly go to a specific area or specific network.
- Cheops can optionally determine the OS of hosts on the network, selecting appropriate icons for them.
- Cheops can show you the routes taken to access areas of your network. (This feature is designed for larger networks, with routers, subnets, etc. If you only have a simple LAN where all your hosts are connected with hubs, then itll just draw a bunch of lines between you and the other computers) This mapping not only makes heirarchy clearer, but can show unusual routing issues, like this unusual router triangle. Unfortunately, you have to place the machines yourself, but cheops handles the interconnections.
- Right clicking on a host quickly shows you a list of common services it supports, and rapid, easy access to them.
- For large networks, you can view the network with smaller icons, or even as a simple list of networks. Layout is arrangeable by domain, hostname, IP address, etc and searching is supported in both iconic and list formats.
- Cheops includes a generalized TCP port scanner to see what ports on your network are in use.
- Retrieve version information for certain services, to be sure any given host is up-to-date with the latest revision of its services.
- Cheops is highly configurable both through text-based configuration files and through a graphical "Options" dialog box.
- Cheops includes a simple integrated SNMP browser, including write capability, using the UCD SNMP library. Cheops also supports a plugin interface, which includes support for SNMP plugins, similar in concept to those of HP Openview.
- Cheops can monitor your critical servers, and immediately notify you through its event log, standard e-mail, and soon via paging, when things go wrong. Know exactly whats up or down, and just when problems occur.

tux_aqfh is a project that stands for Tux the Penguin - A Quest for Herring. An OpenSource 3D game.

ux_aqfh is Tux: A Quest for Herring, a game in which Tux the Penguin must collect Golden Herring and other prizes.

This beta has several fully playable levels. Tux-AQFH is provided with full source code; it is designed for portability and runs under most OSes.
