Trend is a general-purpose, efficient trend graph for "live" data. Data is read in ASCII form from a file or continuously from a FIFO and displayed in real-time into a multi-pass trend (much like a CRT oscilloscope). trend can be used as a rapid analysis tool for progressive or time-based data series together with trivial scripting.

Vector Visuals has been downloaded thousands of times, and is already in use in a variety of applications. A few that we know of are a business ontology viewer, a particle simulator, and a childrens e-book builder.
Enhancements:
- This release of is a combination of bugfixes and new features.
- Persistence delegates were added for all of the Vector Visuals objects.
- The examples were moved out into their own source folder.
- Additionally, the entire product is now licensed under a permissive "New BSD"-style license.

UWG is a lightweight gadget/windowing toolkit for C and X11. Interfaces are described using XML and are turned into C code using the ubuildinit utility. Currently, only a small percentage of the planned gadgets are implemented.

Micro WG is a C `version of WG. In general, UWG is somewhat more light-weight than WG. Firstly because its written in C and not C++. Secondly because it does not yet provide all the features of WG. Also, it should be significantly easier to `connect UWG to KRoC.

Why UWG ? Its now the case that there are many `widget libraries for programmers to choose from. The traditional X11 widget libraries (X Toolkit Intrinsics), GTK, QT, Motif, wxWindows, TK, etc.. GTK and QT are probably the most common for an average users desktop system -- as the graphics libraries of Gnome and KDE respectively. C++, used by WG, provides a largely type-safe environment for gadget programming -- i.e. the structure/nature of gadgets fit neatly into the C++ type (class) heirarchy.

However, C++ ultimately suffers from the same problems as some other `object-orientated languages -- namely leaky encapsulation. When writing WG, some of the limitations (maybe features) of C++ caused significant problems, particularly in the function-pointer department. Object-orientation is a fine model for data, but it does not work well when `bolted-on to sequential languages -- C++ and Java in particular.

Forcing a sequential flow-of-control through something that we tried to break into objects only leads to problems. E.g. when executing inside the method of one object, is it safe to delete another object ? -- well, only if that other object wasnt involved (and still is involved) in the flow-of-control. And this you cannot easily tell. Furthermore, in many cases, `delete may be substituted for any object interaction (method-call).

Also, a lot of modern GUI toolkits seem unnecessarily bloated. C++ (and other `frilly languages) can be blamed for some of this, but not all of it. WG isnt bloated yet, but its not far off. UWG is therefore an attempt at a lightweight (size and speed) gadget toolkit for X11, programmed in C.

ramrip is a little script which wraps up mplayer / ffmpeg. It downloads real video or real audio streams, and then encodes them. Video files are transcoded to mpeg format using ffmpeg. Audio-only streams can be encoded to ogg/vorbis, mp3 or wav formats.

Unlike ram2ogg, this script downloads uncompressed files first, then encodes them. Thus it is nicer to use ram2ogg for audio streams. This also means that you need A LOT of free disk space, since un-compressed video is HUGE!

SuperCollider is a state of the art, realtime sound synthesis server as well as an interpreted Object Oriented language which is based on Smalltalk but with C language family syntax. The language functions as a network client to the sound synthesis server.

SuperCollider project was written by James McCartney over a period of many years. It is now an open source GPLd project maintained and developed by James and a few others.

There have been four different versions of SuperCollider. There is only one version which is still actively maintained, and that is SC3 for OS X and Linux.

The Linear and Non-Linear Optimization Solver (or simply the Optimization Solver) is designed to compute an optimized set of decision variables that either maximize or minimize a given objective function while also satisfying a set of arbitrary constraints defined by the user.
It is widely used in the field of operations research, and can also be a very useful business tool that helps you make an informed decision on a multitude of complex scenarios that you may encounter in your day-to-day business operations.
Version restrictions:
- Currently it only solves constrained linear models! An algorithm for non-linear model is being worked on.
- A constraint value must be a cell reference. Simply typing a value will not work.
- The Reset and Options buttons do absolutely nothing!
- It assumes that the model is linear. It does NOT solve a non-linear model yet.
Enhancements:
- The two packages have been combined into one, so that only one package needs to be installed.
- Preprocessing of the model has been disabled, because it was preventing lpsolve from solving certain models.

PL/XML project is an XML based scripting language for PL/SQL. PL/SQL is the procedural language in Oracle and EnterpriseDB. PL/XML is based on CMD nodes.
Each CMD node identifies a command and all parameters for that command. PL/XML supports FOR loops, CASE statements, variables, procedures, and functions.

- Debug can be turned on or off, and a debug stored procedure can be defined.
