Torta shows you where your disk space is going. Torta uses the graphical format used by the the awesome program filelight to represent disk usage.

Unlike filelight, Torta can be run on a computer with no graphical environment: it generates a flash file that can be consulted, locally or remotelly, using any browser that has the flash plugin installed.

Torta uses Gordon, a library that provides flash generation functionality.

With ToothMote application you can control Linux computers using a BlueTooth enabled cell phone.

run adds a service menu for all file types. This service menu will just call the file in the command line using the active folder as work folder.

Well now you can load a launch button on the Slit by running:

You could automate the load of various "button-application" by entering this information in your .xinitrc. For example my .xinitrc looks something like this:

Dataxi project is a collection of tools for developing form-based information systems. Dataxi enables one to quickly build an application based on forms with which the user can access the underlying database in order to query, read, edit and write. Dataxi is the link between the user interface and the database.
Dataxi is an OS and enviroment independent product. It follows HTML and SQL standards to such extend that interoperability with all browsers and database backends should be supported.
Dataxi runs on all major operating systems as is or only with minor changes in ini -files.
The purpose of Dataxi is to take the pain away from the most boring phase in the data access application development: user interface designing and programming. Ones you have defined the layout of the form and location for columns, you are done, unless you prefer setting data validation and output format features and other niceties.

stickystatus is a small program that displays the sticky and mouse key status in a popup image.

The image disappears when no sticky or mouse keys are pressed.

It is fully configurable: custom images, popup location, characters used for each key, position of characters, font used, and color of characters.

These are all set from the command line (no dot file).

Compiling and Installation

Extract the archive:
# tar -xvzf stickystatus-0.1.tar.gz

Enter the stickystatus directory.
# cd stickystatus-0.1

Make the binaries:
# make

Install the binaries:
# su root
# make install

This will copy the binaries to /usr/local/bin

Or copy the binary to any directory you want.

Try it by typing:
# stickystatus
