The Spider project is a complete object-oriented environment for machine learning in Matlab.
Aside from ease of use for base learning algorithms, algorithms can be plugged together and can be compared with, for example, model selection, statistical tests, and visual plots.
This gives all the power of objects (reusability, the ability to plug together, sharing of code), but also all the power of Matlab for machine learning research.
Enhancements:
- A WEKA interface was added, supporting decision trees.
- Additional code, documentation, and demos were added.

GTK Photo Gallery is an album to manage small and medium-sized photograph collections. It is possible to upload images to an online laboratory.
It allows quick management by processing multiple files together. Rotate, delete, move, and manage descriptions can be done for all files in one directory at once.
GTK Photo Gallery is implemented with GTK2-Perl, and due to the lack of a Web server in between, it is much faster than CGI-based scripts. It uses the same directory structure as (and can be used together with) My Photo Gallery (a set of CGI scripts).
It is possible to export (and import) an album in 0.7, 4.7 or 8.5 GB parts for easy CD/DVD backup.
Each part contains a html index as overview and for navigation. User can choose the thumnail sizes to export.
This can be used to create a simple static web album.
Enhancements:
- Automatic configuration is done on startup if theres no configuration file.
- Speed enhancements on applying changes to albums and bugfixes were done.

BioCluster is a peer-to-peer clustering platform for Asterisk, the open source PBX, which allows Asterisk to be used as a full carrier-grade telephony solution. This project is meant to be installed on several machines together with Asterisk, turning them into a VoIP cluster.

While the BioCluster peer-to-peer protocol was initially designed to cater to Asterisk-based clustering solutions, the BioCluster framework is capable of being extended to support various forms of normally unclustered devices or software packages.

Chaussette is a MySQL/PHP Web group calendar using Ajax.

With it, friends can share events and chat together.

Tvheadend 2.4 brings users the convenience of a streaming server/relay which supports a variety of sources and multiple output formats.
Tvheadend is initially intended to be used for receiving TV (DVB, Analog, IPTV) and to transmit it using a number of different output formats to subscribers. Together with powerful DVR (Digital Video Recorder) features, an advanced EPG and a web-interface it can be used as a TV distribution hub in your home.

gnome-user-share is a small package that binds together various free software projects to bring easy to use user-level file sharing to the masses.

gnome-user-share is meant to run in the background when the user is logged in, and when file sharing is enabled a webdav server is started that shares the $HOME/Public folder. The share is then published to all computers on the local network using mDNS/rendezvous, so that it shows up in the Network location in Gnome.

The dav server used is apache, so you need that installed. Howl is used for mDNS support, so you need to have that installed and mDNSResolver running.

Cabextract menu is just a little service menu that I put together for extracting MS .cab files.

It creates a directory with the same base name in the same directory as the .cab file and extracts to it. To use it, you have to have cabextract installed (and can be found here http://www.kyz.uklinux.net/cabextract.php.
