Osec is a lightweight integrity checking system. You can use it to see difference between two states of your system. Osec also adds an ability of checking system for the dangerous files, e.g. suid, sgid and world writeable.
If you run osec under root acount, then this program will work under non-privilegy user with only one extra capability dac_read_search, so osec cannot
damage any system file on internal errors.
Osec is divided into two parts:
- osec - data gathering program. Osec have made its output in row format to standart output.
- osec_reporter - report filter. You can pass row output from osec to reporter to see human-readable reports with some analisys.
Reporter process will also print results to standart output, so you can continue this pipeline. For example, you can send e-mail with report to system administrator.

PHP PSD reader reads .PSD files (Adobe Photoshop Documents) using only PHP4 or PHP5 and GD. The project comes with imagecreatefrompsd (a function that returns an image handle just like the native PHP imagecreatefrom functions).

It supports documents from Adobe Photoshop 3.0 up to version CS3, where compatibility has been enabled. The class is also usefull for retrieving basic data from a Photoshop document.

You can use this script for a portfolio gallery, or to see the contents of a .psd file when Photoshop is not available.

Satellite is a very simple theme that displays a composite satellite image for the USA.

It updates hourly. You can zoom each portion of the main image, to see greater detail for a specific area.

There are only two actions. You press a section of the main image, and it zooms in on that section. Press the magnifying glass at the top, and the zoom turns off. Thats it.

VoteField provides a vote field to your archetypes contents.

How does it work ?

From the view of the content, any user can vote for it by clicking on a button.

It also show the number of votes for the content.

Users can only vote once for a content. The vote verification is done with cookie.

From the edit page, owner can reset the counter with a checkbox.

Plone is an open-source content management system built on top of the Zope application server. Plone is free software and is designed to be extensible. It is suited for an internal website or may be used as a server on the Internet, playing such roles as a document publishing system and groupware collaboration tool.

XML Toolkit provides an easy to use, very pythoninc approach to XML processing.

Trim 1.0 is an effective utility for monitoring and controling the sizes of (log) files. Examines a text file to see if its length has exceeded a certain limit; if it has, Trim removes a certain number of lines from the beginning of the file. Ideal for use in crontab.

multicolumn is a Firefox extension that sllows web pages to be configured to display in multiple columns using Firefox 1.5 (Gecko 1.8) CSS property -moz-column-count, inspired by the draft CSS3 module: Multi-column layout. Make better use of high res screen real estate.

To see it in operation, install it, restart firefox, and then try visiting digg, slashdot, or google (for google, you need to do a search before youll see anything).

To change the number of columns to suit your screen or to configure it for another site, go into the settings tab (thin strip at the top of the browser window - click "more previews" above too see this highlighted on a screenshot).

Note that the tabs will only appear on sites which are configured (eg digg, slashdot, google).

To stop this extension from affecting a particular website, uncheck the relevant checkbox on the settings tab.
