Command Executor 0.2

Command Executor is an amaroK script which execute an internal command (e.g. stop playing) when reaches that entry. more>>
Command Executor is an amaroK script which execute an internal command (e.g. stop playing) when reaches that entry. Sometimes it is useful to execute some external commands (e.g. shutdown) when playing reached a certain place (e.g. end of album).

This script does the job. If amaroK starts playing a track from the "Shell Command" album, this script executes the comment tag of the track as a shell command.

You need some prepared audio files, with correctly filled tags. There are three .ogg files enclosed for stop playing, shutdown and hibernate the computer.

Icon execute feedback 0.4

Icon execute feedback replaces the zooming rectangle that is drawn if you activate an icon in konqueror for execution feedback. more>>
Icon execute feedback replaces the zooming rectangle that is drawn if you activate an icon in konqueror for execution feedback. It removes the rectangle and instead zooms the icon bigger and fades it out while doing. Its like MacOS X execution feedback.
Currently works in Konqueror, Kicker and all file dialogs. You will need a machine > 600 MHz for this though, else the
animation may be slow.
This is a patch against kdebase-3.5.6 and kdelibs-3.5.6
So you have to recompile the two packages. Please only do
that if you are experienced enough with recompiling KDE.
Apply the patches as follows:
1. Get kdebase-3.5.6
2. Get kdelibs-3.5.6
3. Get this patch
4. Unpack all archives
5. Change to the dir you unpacked kdelibs
6. Execute "patch -p1 7. Recompile kdelibs
8. Install kdelibs (necessary as some header files changed)
9. Change to the dir you unpacked kdebase
7. Execute "patch -p1 8. Recompile kdebase
9. Install kdebase
10. Logout of kde and then login again.
11. Watch the icons zooming
Have fun. If you dont understand the step by step manual above please inform yourself about how to recompile KDE on kde.org

ZPTDebugger 1.0

ZPTDebugger 1.0

ZPTDebugger is a Plone product used for peeking Python expressions used during rendering. more>>
ZPTDebugger is a Plone product used for peeking Python expressions used during rendering.
Using ZPTDebuger you can easily see the values of each Python expression used in template and all other templates used by it. You can see the expression, its value, value type and time used to execute it.
This product is instantiated as simple Zope object. It lists in a table all executed Python expressions or presents them as a tree-like structure. If there was error in an expression it will be marked as a red row and it will be the last row processed. But the error will still remain in error_log.
To actually debug template you have to go to #DebuggerConsole (default id) and run debugger with relative path to template and optional parameters. Product will monkey patch TALInterpreter and PageTemplates.Expressions but debugging functionality is disabled by default. It is enabled only during debugger call. But despite that it shouldt be used on live instances.
Enhancements:
- First stable release of a product that allows viewing of all TAL/Python expressions used in template rendering.

XPertMailer is a PHP class to send encoded MIME-type email messages like text, HTML, HTML embedded images, attachments, etc., to client, localhost, or relay SMTP servers with optional authorisation.
The class functions are optimised to execute in a very small time and to be easy to use. This reduces the size of the code and the time required to write it.
Data sending is done according to RFC 821 and RFC 2821, and the message type is in compliance with RFC 2045, RFC 2046, RFC 2047, RFC 2048, RFC 2049, and RFC 2822.
Enhancements:
- Added the clear attachments functionality

Active Objects is an implementation of the Active Object concept based on the boost::thread, boost::bind, and boost::function libraries.
The point of the library is to make taking advantage of multiprocessor machines as easy as possible. The library provides two types of functionality. The first is the ability to execute a function in a separate thread and automatically synchronize with the thread when the return value is needed.
The second is the ability to easily create a message cue for any existing class, and have that class process its messages asynchronously.
Enhancements:
- Minor code cleanup and code documentation updates.

JRelaxTimer is composed by some independent components that could be showed or hidden by option (logo, buttons, displays, selectors)
Main features:
- browser-independent, works fine with any browser that support at least Java 1.1
- support two different page selection methods
- customizable background colors
- customizable background images
- customizable graphic images for digits and symbols
- 232 ready to use images (13 sets of digits)
- support for image transparencies

trapdoor2 1.2

trapdoor2 1.2

Trapdoor2 (td2) is an application that allows remote users to execute local commands by sending magic cookies. more>>
Trapdoor2 (td2) is an application that allows remote users to execute local commands by sending magic cookies. This can e.g. be used to alter local firewalling rules so people can connect to local services after sending the magick cookie.

td2 is implemented as high-secure https server. the daemon processes are running in a chroot jail with multiple rlimits set. even if td2 can be exploited (e.g. using a hypothetical security hole in the SSL implementation), it is very unlikely that the attacker can execute any commands on the machine and/or can cause any damage.

however - there never is a 100% guarantee that a system is secure. we believe that trapdoor2 can be used to make systems more secure, but if you use it in a bad manner, you do so on your own risk.

libevent 1.3d

libevent 1.3d

libevent API provides a mechanism to execute a callback function when a specific event occurs on a file descriptor. more>>
libevent library provides a mechanism to execute a callback function when a specific event occurs on a file descriptor or after a timeout has been reached.
It is meant to replace the asynchronous event loop found in event-driven network servers.
libevent is meant to replace the event loop found in event driven network servers. An application just needs to call event_dispatch() and then add or remove events dynamically without having to change the event loop.
Currently, libevent supports /dev/poll, kqueue(2), select(2), poll(2) and epoll(4). It also has experimental support for real-time signals. The internal event mechanism is completely independent of the exposed event API, and a simple update of libevent can provide new functionality without having to redesign the applications. As a result, Libevent allows for portable application development and provides the most scalable event notification mechanism available on an operating system.
More information about event notification mechanisms for network servers can be found on Dan Kegels "The C10K problem" web page. Another library that abstracts asynchronous event notification is liboop.
Enhancements:
- Bugs in libevents HTTP layer were fixed.

Systrace 1.6d

Systrace 1.6d

Systrace enforces system call policies for applications by constraining the applications access to the system. more>>
The policy is generated interactively. Operations not covered by the policy raise an alarm, allowing an user to refine the currently configured policy.
For complicated applications, it is difficult to know the correct policy before running them. Initially, Systrace notifies the user about all system calls that an application tries to execute. The user configures a policy for the specific system call that caused the warning. After a few minutes, a policy is generated that allows the application to run without any warnings. However, events that are not covered still generate a warning. Normally, that is an indication of a security problem. Systrace improves cyber security by providing intrusion prevention.
Alternatively, policies can be learned automatically. In many instances, the automatically learned policies can be used for sandboxing immediately. Sometimes, minimal manual post-processing is necessary.
With Systrace, untrusted binary applications can be sandboxed. Their access to the system can be restricted almost arbitrarily. Sandboxing applications that are available only as binaries is only sensible, as it is not possible to directly analyze what they are designed to do. However, constraining the system calls that large open-source applications are allowed to execute is useful too, as it is very difficult to determine their correctness.
System call arguments can be rewritten dynamically. This effects a virtual chroot for the sandboxed application. It also prevents race conditions in the argument evaluation.
Main features:
- Confines untrusted binary applications.
- Interactive Policy Generation with Graphical User Interface.
- Supports different emulations:
- GNU/Linux, BSDI, etc..
- System Call Argument Rewriting.
- Non-interactive Policy Enforcement.
- Remote Monitoring and Intrusion Detection.
- Privilege Elevation: Add-on capabilities.
