Disable - Enable Touchpad 1.0
Disable - Enable Touchpad is a very very simple servicemenu to disable or enable your touchpad. more>>
Disable - Enable Touchpad is a very very simple servicemenu to disable or enable your touchpad (e.g. if sometimes you use a USB mouse, the touchpad may become annoying).
Notice: it only works if it is a *synaptic* touchpad
There are plenty of ways to disable your touchpad, for example through the comamnds synclient TouchpadOff=1 or synclient TouchpadOff=0 which is exactly what this servicemenu does.
At reboot, this setting is reset and touchpad is enabled by default. If you want to disable it permanently, you can comment the touchpad section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf
USAGE:
1) copy the file Disable_Enable_Touchpad.desktop in the KDE servicemenus folder, that is located in /home/your_username/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus
OR
2) just leave the file Disable_Enable_Touchpad.desktop in same folder and right click it; on "action" youll find the touchpad entry

DynAlbum 1.5
Dynalbum is a fully dynamic automatic Web photo album generator. more>>
Dynalbum is a fully dynamic automatic Web photo album generator. The album includes an index page with thumbnails, navigation tools on each album page, and four sizes of each picture.
The entire album is dynamically generated from a directory of JPEGs, TIFFs, PNGs, and GIFs when it is accessed. Unlike other photo album generators, it doesnt clutter files with thumbnails and static HTML.
DynAlbum generates each page and each scaled image (including thumbnails) dynamically every time it is accessed. This means that theres no need to keep static copies of anything but the original pictures.
INSTALLATION:
Copy the dynalbum.py program to the file "index.py" in your image directory. You need to enable mod_python for this directory. This can be accomplished either in your httpd.conf (/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf or /etc/httpd/conf.d/python.conf) or in a ".htaccess" file.
The .htaccess file is placed in your image and adusts web server parameters for that directory. In order to use a .htaccess file you may need to enable support using the "AllowOverride" directive in the global apache configuration.
httpd.conf example:
DirectoryIndex index.py
AddHandler python-program .py
PythonHandler mod_python.publisher
PythonInterpPerDirectory On
.htaccess file example:
DirectoryIndex index.py
AddHandler python-program .py
PythonHandler mod_python.publisher
PythonInterpPerDirectory On
and change the relevant instance of "AllowOverride None"
in httpd.conf to "AllowOverride All" to enable .htaccess
support in Apache.
Enhancements:
- Generates multi-page image indexes
- Dynamically generates ZIP archives

The object can be selected by ID or as an object variable.
JavaScript is an object-based scripting programming language based on the concept of prototypes. The language is best known for its use in websites, but is also used to enable scripting access to objects embedded in other applications.
Despite the name, JavaScript is only distantly related to the Java programming language, the main similarity being their common debt to the C programming language.
JavaScript has far more in common with the Self programming language.

Conary 1.1.33
Conary is a distributed software management system. more>>
Conary is a distributed software management system for Linux distributions. It replaces traditional package management solutions (such as RPM and dpkg) with one designed to enable loose collaboration across the Internet.
Conary enables sets of distributed and loosely connected repositories to define the components which are installed on a Linux system.
Rather then having a full distribution come from a single vendor, it allows administrators and developers to branch a distribution, keeping the pieces which fit their environment while grabbing components from other repositories across the Internet.
Enhancements:
- A new "conary rdiff" command has been added that displays the differences between two troves in a Conary repository.
- Significant improvements have been made to HTTP proxy support.
- A new "searchPath" configuration option has been added, which allows the user to specify a group to use when searching for new packages or performing dependency resolution.
- Numerous additional enhancements and bugfixes are included.

AutoDNS 1.0.0
AutoDNS is an easy way to enable configuration of secondary DNS via email. more>>
AutoDNS is an easy way to enable configuration of secondary DNS via email. It allows addition, deletion and listing of secondaried domains. Its used by the author in conjuction with BIND but with minimal effort this should work with any DNS server.
AutoDNS accepts GPG signed emails instructing it to setup secondary DNS for domains and adds appropriate entries to the BIND configuration file in order to make this happen.
The principle is simple. AutoDNS accepts a GPG clear signed email on stdin, so can simply be added to a .forward file or whatever. You configure it to know about the key IDs of all the people you wish to be able to setup secondaries on your server and add their keys to the GPG keyring for the user it runs under.
Most of the configuration options are at the top of autodns.pl, just after where VERSION is defined. The other bit of config thats needed is a users file.
Youll also need a way for the script to be able to do a "ndc reconfig" to load the info about the new secondary domains - I do this using sudo.
Enhancements:
- Waiting for GPG termination was tidied up.
- The MASTER command was added for setting the master server to slave from.
- Longer TLDs are now allowed (6 characters instead of 4).
- The ADDUSER command was added to allow new user creation via email.
- Various minor code cleanups were done.
- The code is reasonably mature now.

homeLANsecurity 1.6.0
homeLANsecurity was written for Netfilters IPtables, homeLANsecurity (HLS) is a Bash shell scripted firewall. more>>
It was born out of the desire for an easy to configure, well documented, robust IPtables firewall. It has been made with the individual user or small business in mind. With that said, Ive had plenty of e-mails from administrators that are using HLS in a large corporate environment. It was just not initially designed for such.
There is some limited error checking built into HLS. This will not prevent horrible choices when selecting which setting to enable or disable. Since the script can be used for gateway systems and internal LAN systems, many options are listed. Not every option is wise to enable for gateway system. In general, the default settings is the best way to go for the majority of gateway systems.
I dont feel the need to write a large volume of documentation as the HLS script and related files are well documented internally. Then again I am probably too close to the project to make that judgment.
For version 1.6.0 of HLS, I am going to add documentation to this page as the need for it arises. If you find something to be unclear in this documentation or inside one of the files, drop me a short e-mail stating what is unclear and why it is unclear (if possible). Ill make every effort to update the documentation to correct this.

This is a Plone product (that could probably be trivially modified for the CMF itself) which provides Atom support for Plone. Currently it provides the Atom syndication format for folderish objects, in the same way as RSS syndication is implemented.
Enabling Atom syndication
Atom syndication is enabled in exactly the same way as RSS syndication. To enable syndication on the site in general:
.Login as an admin user.
.Go to Plone Setup and choose Zope Management Interface
.Select the Properties tab in the portal_syndication tool.
.Click enable syndication. Then, to enable syndication support for a particular folderish object:
.Login as a user who has Owner/Manager permission for the folder.
.Surf to that folder and select the syndication tab.
.Click Enable syndication. Dont worry about the syndication options it gives you -- they are not used by atom (and ignored in most RSS clients, from what Ive seen).
