Style Sheet Chooser is an extension which allows you to choose author-provided alternate style.

Style Sheet Chooser 0.2 allows you to choose author-provided alternate style sheets for a web site, and have those choices be persisted for all pages on the same site.

Style Sheet Chooser 0.2 does NOT interact with Firefoxs built-in style sheet switcher -- its functionality is instead available via the [View]->[Style Sheet Chooser 0.2] menu item.

grub-choose-default is a simple but handy GUI to set the grub default for the next boot.

Control Grub Default through a GUI

Do you have a dual boot system? Isnt it annoying when you want to reboot from Linux into Windows or vice-versa, and you have to wait for the machine to shut down, BIOS to initialize just so that you can now select the OS that you want to boot into?

grub-choose-default gives you a GUI that you can use to easily select the next default for grub and you can go and grab a snack while your computer reboots without having to wait for anything.

Its a very simple program that just reads your grub menu entries and then lets you click on the one you want to be the next default.

How It Works

In grubs menu.lst file you need to specify default saved, so that grub consults the file default in the grub directory to see which entry it should boot. That file is then modified by grub-choose-default

Cross Platform

grub-choose-default is written in Python (which is required to be installed at the moment) and works under Linux and Windows.

Under Linux it reads /boot/grub/menu.lst and writes your choice to /boot/grub/default

Then grub-choose-default searches all your drives for a grub/menu.lst or a boot/grub/menu.lst. There currently is no way to specify manually where menu.lst resides, please let me know if this is needed.

WavTools is a set of WAV file processing programs for Unix.

The tools included are are:

wavcat - Concatenates WAV files, with options to convert stereo to mono.
wavpad - Adds padding to 16 bit 44 kHz WAV files, as required by some CD writing software.
wavinfo - Displays information from the header and chunks of a WAV file.

Edit the Makefile to choose build options and installation
directories.

Type "make" to build the library, programs, and documentation. Type "make install" to install the programs and manual pages.

gnome-chess is chess game, a graphical user interface for playing chess.

It works with chess programs and chess servers - it is also a PGN viewer. For chess programs, it works best with the chess engine crafty (ftp://ftp.cis.uab.edu/pub/hyatt) but most features should also work with GNU Chess (ftp://ftp.gnu.org).

You can use the "first chess program" option to choose the computer engine you want to play against.

E.g. try "gnome-chess --fcp crafty" or "gnome-chess --fcp gnuchessx"

You can use the --ics* options to choose the server and pick user name and passwords.

E.g. try "gnome-chess --ics --icshost freechess.org"

OSSP ex is a small ISO-C++ style exception handling library for use in the ISO-C language. It allows you to use the paradigm of throwing and catching exceptions in order to reduce the amount of error handling code without making your program less robust.

This is achieved by directly transferring exceptional return codes (and the program control flow) from the location where the exception is raised (throw point) to the location where it is handled (catch point) -- usually from a deeply nested sub-routine to a parent routine.

All intermediate routines no longer have to make sure that the exceptional return codes from sub-routines are correctly passed back to the parent.

The OSSP ex facility also provides advanced exception handling features like shielded and deferred exceptions. Additionally, OSSP ex allows you to choose the used underlying machine context switching facility and optionally support multi-threading environments by allowing you to store the exception catching stack in a thread-safe way.

Cool Linux CD is a bootable CD with Linux operating system that contains a 2.4 kernel and many free software packages.
