T-BEAR is the Transient Bluetooth Environment security AuditoR. It includes an ncurses-based BT scanner, a Bluetooth DoS proof-of-concept, and a "hidden" BDADDR hunter similar to Redfang 2.5.
Other tools based on gnuradio are being developed, including a BT "sniffer".

Space Commander is a game that aims to be similar to Elite and Privateer, with maybe a bit of Trade Wars thrown in.
The project is a remarkably functional space simulation with under 200 lines of code in the main file.
DEPENDENCIES
You need a recent version of Python and some support libraries. The game is currently being written using Python v 2.4.3 but it may work with newer or older versions with some minor tweaking. I intend to be using Python 2.5 and PyGame 1.8 shortly.

Basically you need a pretty complete Python kit. Most Linux distributions should have everything that you need and Windows / OSX users will be able to install it all with a small bit of effort.
To play the MIDI score in Linux you have to install and configure Timidity due to some old code in sdl-mixer which is a pre-dependency of PyGame. If the game crashes and
complains about midi, just comment out the MIDI line in spacecommander.py to disable it.
As to performance issues. I pass the buck. If it runs too slowly then get a faster computer, better graphics card, better operating system, whatever.
The idea of writing this in Python is to have a compromise between ultimate performance and the ability to understand and tinker around with the code.
You could try reducing the number of stars in the galaxy by editing bigbang.py also.
Feel free to re-write the game in hand optimized assembler, but you must send me a copy of your code per the LICENSE.

Or build fantastic playlists, sorted by tempo, or song similarity, the sky is the limit. Or simply take any of Smart DJs suggestions for similar songs in the Context browser. Thats the greatest way to discover an entire music collection.

This plug-in is perfect for people who hate making playlists, or hate the predictibility of hearing a playlist, or hate amaroKs Dynamic mode tendency to add songs that ruin the mood. This plug-in is also for people who want to discover the lost and unknown good songs in their own collection. Finally, this plug-in is perfect for DJs who want to plan good sets of songs and playlists for live performance.

PkgBuilder is a simple system for automatically creating software packages (in formats such as RPM, tgz, or Deb) from source code.

It is meant to be similar to the "ports" system found in BSD, but for Linux.

imapbiff checks IMAP accounts for new mail. It uses images similar to those of the classic xbiff program. The project works similar to xbiff, except it is only used to check for new mail in IMAP accounts.

It is written in perl, and requires the Tk module for perl. It was written spefically to be docked in my fvwm2 button bar, as I could not find a simple xbiff like app that would do IMAP checks.

Exaile project is a media player aiming to be similar to KDEs AmaroK, but for GTK+. It incorporates many of the features from AmaroK (and other media players) like automatic fetching of album art, handling of large libraries, lyrics fetching, artist/album information via the wikipedia, last.fm support, and optional iPod support (assuming you have python-gpod installed).

In addition, it includes a built in shoutcast directory browser, tabbed playlists (so you can have more than one playlist open at a time), blacklisting of tracks (so they dont get scanned into your library), downloading of guitar tablature from fretplay.com, and submitting played tracks on your iPod to last.fm.
