Shell for Simulated Agent Systems 1.9.2

Shell for Simulated Agent Systems 1.9.2

SeSAm provides a generic environment for modelling and experimenting with agent-based simulation. more>>
SeSAm (Shell for Simulated Agent Systems) provides a generic environment for modelling and experimenting with agent-based simulation.
We specially focused on providing a tool for the easy construction of complex models, which include dynamic interdependecies or emergent behaviour.
SeSAm agents consist of a body, that contains a set of state variables and a behaviour that is implemented in form of UML-like diagram. Based on an extensive number of primitive components, a user is able to design a simulation graphically without knowing the syntax of a traditional programming language.
The model specification is executable in the same environment and the dynamics of this simulation may be observed. As there are freely configurable instruments for gathering data and scripting options for constructing simulation experiments, SeSAm is a highly valuable tool for MAS simulations especially for complex models with flexible agent behaviour and interactions.
Main features:
- Easy visual agent modelling,
- Flexible environment and situation definition,
- The whole power of a programming language,
- Integrated graphical simulation analysis ,
- Distribution of simulation runs in your LAN ,
- and many further features.....

Alphagate Systems Kernel Patchset 2.6-AS23

Alphagate Systems Kernel Patchset 2.6-AS23

Alphagate Systems Kernel Patchset is a patch collection for the Linux kernel. more>>
Alphagate Systems Kernel Patchset provides new technologies and features, standard enhancements, as well as trivial-but-necessary fixes, that have not yet made it into the mainline (vanilla) Kernel.
So on one side, you get the next-gen code, while retaining stability is of concern. We choose SUSE Kernels because it is another stage of quality assurance that things do work reasonably.
2.6-AS22 is based on 2.6.15, which is quite a jump from 2.6.13. Certain things are missing because they are not available yet, such as TPROXY support. Because of this, AS21 and AS22 were released at the same time.
Components:
- Netfilter: IMQ, ROUTE, SYSRQ, TARPIT, XOR, connlimit, layer7, nth, random, u32, rICMP
- ttyrpld 2.10 rpldev
- CDFS 2.6.12
- BalaBit TPROXY 2.0.2 for 2.6.13
- SquashFS 2.2, +xmagic, +scan4it extensions
- UnionFS 20051130
- QuadDSP 1.2 - 4-channel audio output tools
- MultiAdmin 1.0.3
- THKD for Toshiba harddisks
- cdemu 0.7
- NDISwrapper 1.7
- RaLink RT2X00 drivers
- snd-pcsp audio driver and pcspkr emergency sound upon Oops, Panic or BUG
- Partition display upon rootfs mismount
- Boot time improvement by nosynchro RTC
- Visual plus: AS CKO, PureVGA, BSDUnderline, Con Loglevel, pipesize stat
- various /proc hardeners
- various small fixes (incl. UTF-8 console compose and userspace greediness fix)
- mouse button swap
- Staircase 13.2 provided (but not activated by default)
Enhancements:
- Unionfs, tproxy, sonypi, sony_acpi, the staircase scheduler, full preemption, and some other minor parts were updated.

Systems of Ordinary Differential Equations 13 (RubySode)

Systems of Ordinary Differential Equations 13 (RubySode)

Systems of Ordinary Differential Equations RubySode is a Ruby program to generate a Ruby program to solve ordinary equations. more>>
Systems of Ordinary Differential Equations RubySode (Sode.rb) is a Ruby program to generate a Ruby program to solve a single (or a system of) ordinary differential equation(s). A long Taylor series method, pioneered by Prof. Y.F. Chang, who taught at the University of Nebraska in the late 1970s when I was a graduate student there, is used.
The number of Taylor series terms can be specified in the problem file, though it is usually 30.
Enhancements:
- Minir code cleanup. Some tests have been made more meaningful (add, sub, mult, and div).

G System 0.5.1

G System 0.5.1

The G System is a free and open source simulation framework and virtual reality. more>>
The G System, often simply called "G", is an effort to create exactly this: simulation of evolution. This is both, a scientific exercise and a virtual reality where many "users" can participate in an ever changing, realistic and ... evolving universe.
G is basically a framework for virtual world simulations. And not only a framework (the "G System") but a virtual reality itself, which will become the application created with the G System.
- Multi-User 3D virtual world experience. The G System provides a 3D virtual reality that can be experienced by many users at the same time. The Users are part of the evolving universe.
- Simulation. The goal of G is to simulate a realistic, dynamic and evolving universe. To allow great flexibility a well designed core system provides the infrastructure for the world. The whole world is made up with elements.
Elements allow for creation of rule systems (like realistic physics, impact of feelings,...) to be applied to elements as well as integration of artificial intelligence (and anything else that is needed) to create evolutionary abilities.
Rule systems are created with "agents". These agents can reach arbitrary complexity and are executed as a thread, thus allowing maximum freedom to the agent design. Users can enter the world and interact with their environment, which ultimately has an impact on the evolution of the virtual universe. Thus, users make up a part of the overall simulation.
Enhancements:
LIBRARIES
G Core System (GCS):
- GCS::GObject does not store the IDs of the children anymore
- GCS::GWorldData can now return a list of children of an element
G World Engine (GWE):
- Bugs fixed concerning connecting to the G Universe
- Mutex deadlocks fixed that prevented the demo to run
- XMPP Presence subscriptions are now handled and in use
- Added new GStorage class wich implements a Qt based database layer, every database supported by Qt is supported by the G System, tested and known to work so far: QSQLITE, QMYSQL3, QPSQL7
- GStorage now used instead of GXmlStorage
- All GXmlNetwork related classes have been removed
- Fixed iterator bug that could cause crashes
- The factory has been adapted to the new database options
BINARIES
guniverseclient:
- Extracted the communication/chat area into a separate widget
- Now differentiates between internal and external contacts in the
- contact list.
- The default configuration file is now in $HOME/.guniverseclient.xml
- This makes it easy to have different configurations for every user
