Home for Sure is an extension which will ask if you would like to close all open tabs and open your homepage.

When you click Home, Home for Sure will ask if you would like to close all open tabs and open your homepage(s) or if youd like to open your homepage(s) normally.

This isnt for everybody, but weve gotten a few requests, so we thought it might be useful. Try it out and see if you like it.

skipjackResponse project checks Skipjack Payment gateway Response.

The SkipjackResponse Check class checks and validates the response sent via POST methods by the Skipjack payment gateway. In account setup, you need to make sure you have set response file to custom filename.

What is SkipJack?

Skipjack is another payment gateway that accepts payments online. But this payment gateway accepts payment for business in USA only.

What does my class do!

skipjackResponse class check the response that skipjack server send via POST method.

NOTE: In the preference of Skipjack account you will have to set response files.

Fireflies is a screensaver that uses OpenGL for 3d acceleration

This is a little project I started to practice my OpenGL skillz. My inspiration was Ambient Flocks, which I liked so much I decided to try to clone it for Linux.

Since I did this mostly from memory (I only saw it in action once about a year ago), Im not sure how well I did, but Im happy with my final product anyway.

wmfortune is a dock-app that shows you forune messages.

Installation:

Before installation.

Make sure fortune command is in your path.

To compile and install wmfortune.

(1) Edit Makefile as you like.
(2) Type "make"
(3) Then type "make install"

To uninstall.

Just type "make uninstall".

Psunami Bulletin Board is an Open Source alternative to the popular Ultimate Bulletin Board software, and aims for speed, ease of use, and a full feature set.

For installation, do the following:

1)Recursively copy everything from ./cgi-bin/ into your servers cgi-bin/ directory.

2)Recursively chown (chown -R) the psunami/ directory to the user that your web server uses (www-data on Debian, nobody on Slack, httpd on RHat-based systems (Ive been told that it is nobody on someRHat systems), wwwrun on SuSE. Anyone know what it is for others?) If you are unable to chown (eg. you are not the superuser) then make sure it is all readable/writable by the user (777 works, but is probably much too generous). Also do this to the psunami.conf file in cgi-bin.

3)Make psunami.cgi, psunami_admin.cgi, and psunami_moderate.cgi executable by the user that your web server uses. (chmod u+x *.cgi)

4)Change the paths to your perl executable if necessary. The paths are at the top of psunami.cgi, psunami_moderate.pl, and psunami_admin.cgi and default to /usr/bin/perl. Type which perl at a command prompt if you dont know where the executable is.

5)Run psunami_admin.cgi and create a new board. The initial login is psunami and the password is bulletin (no quotes).

6)Make sure that your mail program is configured properly in the preferences. It defaults to /usr/bin/sendmail.

7)Once you have created an account for yourself and given it admin rights, make sure you delete the psunami user.

nss-myhostname is a GNU libc NSS module that statically translates the local host name to the IP address 127.0.0.2 (which is on the loopback device) and vice versa.

This is useful to make sure that the local host name is always resolvable. Some programs (such as sudo) require this functionality.

Especially on embedded systems it may not be desirable to modify /etc/hosts to match the current host name.

It is a good idea to put this module as last resort in /etc/nsswitch.conf, to make sure that other name service take precedence.

Amarok announce is a small perl script for Konversation which will display what you play in amarok.

Place the script in ~/.kde/share/apps/konversation/scripts, make sure its executeable, then add in Konversation an Alias "amarok /exec amarok.pl" then you can use it by typing /amarok in a channel.
