Free sudoku games to play software for linux

Zudoku is a free Sudoku game for all platforms.

Sudoku, sometimes written Su Doku, is a logic-based placement puzzle, also known as Number Place in the United States. The aim of the puzzle is to enter a numerical digit from 1 to 9 in each cell of a 9x9 grid, starting with various digits given in some cells (the "givens").

The grid is made up of 3x3 subgrids (called "regions"). Each row, column, and region must contain only one instance of each numeral. Completing the puzzle requires patience and logical ability. Although first published in 1979, Sudoku initially caught on in Japan in 1986 and attained international popularity in 2005. Fig Labs Zudoku is a free version of this popular puzzle for your computer.

You can use Fig Labs Zudoku to:

- Generate an unlimited number of puzzles for you to play.
- Enter puzzles from newspapers or magazines so that you can play them on your computer.
- Create your own puzzles.
- Help you with solving puzzles, or even solve an entire puzzle for you.
- Print puzzles out to solve on paper.

Games::Alak is a simple game-tree implementation of a gomoku-like game.

This module implements a simple game-tree system for the computer to play against the user in a game of Alak. You can just play the game for fun; or you can use this module as a starting point for understanding game trees (and implementing smarter strategy -- the modules current logic is fairly simple-minded), particularly after reading my Perl Journal #18 article on trees, which discusses this modules implementation of game trees as an example of general tree-shaped data structures.

UNO-Darmstadt project is a program which allows you to play a card game similar to UNO, but with some modified rules.
The game is played via a telnet connection to a server.
Support for color etc. can be achieved by using tinyfuge (a tfrc-file is part of the release).
The server also supports German and English input and output.
Enhancements:
- this release should be more stable than 1.0.
- another change is that you can add computer players via TinyFugue now.
- tons of bugs fixed and other improvements to version 1.0

Games::Go::SGF is a Perl module that can parse and dissect Standard Go Format files.

This is a very simple SGF file parser, of currently limited functionality. It can read and step through SGF files, follow variations, and so on. Its good enough for getting simple statistics about games of Go, and building up Games::Go::Board objects representing games stored as SGF.

$sgf->move returns either a normal Games::Go::SGF::Node or a Games::Go::SGF::Variation object. They behave exactly the same, but the variation object has the additional methods mainline() to get the main line of the game, variation($n) to get the first node in the nth variation, and variations to retrieve an array of variations. $variation->move will, by default, follow the mainline.
