Image Magazine provides a content type which acts both as a folder and as an image.
You populate it with 2 to 4 images, and optionnaly select a layout.
Options include width, background color, padding and margin, and layout mode.
ImageMag then merges the images into a layout while keeping the aspect ratios.
You can then use and call your ImageMag as a standard ploneImage, this mean you can :
.use instance/image_thumbnail, instance/image_large, and so on suffixes to call its different sizes
.call it directly from kupu to illustrate your articles (see readme.txt)
Works with:

RSS Ripper project is a set of Python scripts that rewrites RSS feeds as required for better ease of use. After the rip and rewrite, the new RSS feed is uploaded to your FTP server for your own private re-subscription.
Example Usage:
Rename digg_ripper.py-dist
mv digg_ripper.py-dist digg_ripper.py
Edit the FTP values at the top of the script to point to your own FTP.
FTP_HOST = example.com
FTP_USER = username
FTP_PASS = password
FTP_DIR = ~/path/to/public_html
Run it:
python digg_ripper.py
or
./digg_ripper.py
You may want to add a cron job:
0 * * * * /path/to/rss_ripper/digg_ripper.py >/dev/null 2>&1
And finally you can subscribe to your own custom rss feed.

Boost Channel 0.07.1
Boost Channel is a C++ template framework for distributed message passing and event dispatching. more>>
Boost Channel is a C++ template framework for distributed message passing and event dispatching. Its major components (message IDs, routing algorithms...) are highly configurable as template parameters.
As a namespace shared by peer threads, channels support publish/subscribe scope control, message filtering, and translation.
Enhancements:
- Jamfile.v2 was added for building the channel library and examples (the current boost CVS build system was changed so Jamfile.v2 is required).
- However, there are issues with building samples using Jamfile.v2 with WindowsXP and VC++.
- Windows users should use the existing Jamfile (v1).
- This may involve replacing the boost/tools/build/v1 directory with the content from an older boost release or CVS checkout (such as 12/10/2006).

Unimaginatively-named Calendar 3.7.0
Unimaginatively-named Calendar produces useful, printable calendars on a Web site. more>>
Unimaginatively-named Calendar project began out of frustration with other web-based calendar tools inability to display a readable calendar format. Unimaginatively-named Calendar was very much a project to "scratch an itch" -- to meet an immediate need that the author had. Since then, it has evolved considerably into a very useful tool that produces prettier calendars than those printed by most organizer software.
The first version of this software was written in ASP (VBScript) and ran on IIS 4.0 or higher with a database on SQL Server 7.0 or higher. It has since been completely rewritten in Java to run on Tomcat 5.5 or higher with a database on MySQL 3.3 or higher. The feature set is largely the same, though the two versions have no code in common.
Main features:
- The entire calendar is rendered in HTML -- no Flash or Java is used.
- Single-day, multi-day and occassional events are all supported. "Occasional" events are those events that occur multiple times but dont necessarily follow a regular pattern.
- Repeating events are supported and can repeat on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
- Events may be categorized for easy administration.
- Nearly everything about the display is themable -- colors, fonts, border styles, first day of the week, weekday column widths, categories, etc.
- A calendar may be setup as a "private" calendar, so the user must be logged in to see it.
- Apple iCal and Mozilla Sunbird users can subscribe to the calendar with one click.
- NEW! The admin tool is password protected!

This module provides a simple API for publishing messages to channels and for subscribing to them.
When a message is published on a channel, all subscribers currently in that channel will get it on their next get or get_all call.
Currently, it offers three backends: DBM_Deep for on-disk storage, Memcached for possibly multi-host storage, and PlainHash for single-process storage.
Please see the tests in t/ for this distribution, as well as "SYNOPSIS" above, for some usage examples; detailed documentation is not yet available.

PubSubHubbub_Publisher 1.0
A simple, open, web-hook-based pubsub protocol & open source reference implementation more>>
PubSubHubbub_Publisher 1.0 is yet another excellent utility for everyone. It is actually a simple, open, server-to-server web-hook-based pubsub (publish/subscribe) protocol as a simple extension to Atom.
Parties (servers) speaking the PubSubHubbub protocol can get near-instant notifications (via webhook callbacks) when a topic (Atom URL) they're interested in is updated.
This tool works as follow:
- An Atom URL (a "topic") declares its Hub server(s) in its Atom XML file, via . The hub(s) can be run by the publisher of the Atom, or can be a community hub that anybody can use.
- A subscriber (a server that's interested in a topic), initially fetches the Atom URL as normal. If the Atom file declares its hubs, the subscriber can then avoid lame, repeated polling of the URL and can instead register with the feeds hub(s) and subscribe to updates.
- The subscriber subscribes to the Topic URL from the Topic URLs declared Hub(s).
- When the Publisher next updates the Topic URL, the publisher software pings the Hub(s) saying that there's an update.
- The hub efficiently fetches the published feed and multicasts the new/changed content out to all registered subscribers.
- The protocol is decentralized and free. No company is at the center of this controlling it. Anybody can run a hub, or anybody can ping (publish) or subscribe using open hubs.
- To bootstrap this, the publisher has provided an open source reference implementation of the hub (the hard part of the protocol) that runs on Google App Engine, and is open for anybody to use.

- Python

scanlogs 2.2.6
scanlogd is a TCP port scan detection tool, originally designed to illustrate various attacks. more>>
scanlogd is a TCP port scan detection tool, originally designed to illustrate various attacks an IDS developer has to deal with, for a Phrack Magazine article (see below). Thus, unlike some of the other port scan detection tools out there, scanlogd is designed to be totally safe to use.
This release of scanlogd can be built with support for one of several packet capture interfaces. In addition to the raw socket interface on Linux (which does not require any libraries), scanlogd is now aware of libnids and libpcap.
The use of libpcap alone is not a good idea. If youre on a system other than Linux and/or want to monitor the traffic of an entire network at once, you should be using libnids in order to handle fragmented IP packets.
