Internet Storm Center is a clone of the simple little Windows Konfabulator ISCTracker widget by Bob Rudis. It puts a little coloured globe on your desktop, with the colour of the land corresponding to the current level of Internet Storm Tracker.

Clicking on the globe takes you directly to isc.sans.org.

Astaro Command Center (ACC) is an application for centralized management of Astaro Security Gateways. With ACC, network administrators can easily manage and control multiple Astaro devices.
The intuitive Web-based user interface provides an effective overview that details the actual health of each device, swiftly allowing administrators to see which gateways require immediate action.

- Cluster monitoring global pattern version and UPS battery charge monitoring are now supported, and ACC can be used as an Up2Date Cache for all V7 packages.
- Besides these new features, some minor bugs were fixed.

mediaCenter is a startup center for multimedia computers that can be configured through one configuration file. mediaCenter project can be controlled by keyboard or with a remote control.

This program is intended to be a small launcherProgram for simple multimedia stations. The configuration is done in ${HOME}/.mediacenter/config.xml. If you start without any parametrization, the default one is taken from ${PREFIX}/mediaCenter/config.xml. Note that this may result in missing button images or wrong execution paths.

control-center package is a Gnome system control center.

- configure.in: build libslab statically, to avoid conflicts with gnome-main-menu, which installs its .so and header files.

Debian Control Center (DCC) is a modular project written in Python. The goal of this project is to enable normal people to configure their Debian system as well as some of the server packages. A second goal of this project is to make the experienced Debian system administrators to configure and change her system, without having to remember a lot of commands and configuration files. On a more implementation level, the project should be able to accept new modules without having to change a single line of code in the main configuration program.
Enhancements:
- A program called dcc_wrapper included, a wrapper to launch the dcc as root by presenting the user with a password prompt.
- users module, used to manage users.
- groups module, used to manage groups.
- terminal module, only used if you have python-gnome installed, opens a root terminal.
- Debian menu item included.
- Ability to select whether the items should open as open or closed.

Ubuntu Multimedia Center is a complete Linux-based operating system, freely available with community and professional support. Ubuntu Multimedia Center is developed by Zach Thibeau but I want you to participate too!

WARNING! Users in countries that dont allow use of mp3 playback or DVD playback are advised to remain using the regular release of Ubuntu.

File-center is a simple Web application to download and upload files. Its interface is very simple, and the scripts to download and upload are simple too.

File-center uses the PATH_INFO to pass the name of the directory or of the file in the URL.

RJBs Digital Media Center is a music player.
RJBs Digital Music Center is designed to run on dedicated hardware. Because of this. It running as root. Very dangerous. Other than grabbing the X display and calling stop and halt scripts. It should be able to run as a non-root user. I will look into this on future releases.
Install steps:
(1) Install Nvidia Graphics Card.
(2) Plug X10 or IRMan control module into Com1.
(3) Connect Computer to Television
(4) Install RedHat 9.0
(5) During RedHat install select "Server Install"

(6) Identify or Create a directory for your Media files.
mkdir /usr/local/Media
Would be a good choice. The install script will ask and expect this path to exist. It will create a symbolic link to it. Also create symbolic link inside to for Cdrom to /mnt/cdrom
(7) As root UnZip/Tar the DMC release in /usr/local
cd /usr/local
tar zxvf dmc-releaseV2.0.tgz.tgz
(8) If your System is a HP DEC then you need to copy from the original HP disk the binary decvfdcmd.
cp /opt/odin/dec/bin/decvfdcmd /tmp
This binary controls the front LCD display.
The install script will ask for this path.
(9) As root run the DMC Install Script.
cd /usr/local/dmc/bin
./Install.sh
(10) Answer questions and follow instructions
