Free stock technical software for linux

StockWatch! is a SuperKaramba theme that periodically retrieves stock quotes from the internet. Stock Watch! uses Yahoo! Finance data to obtain quotes.

TA-Lib provides common functions for the technical analysis of stock/future/commodity market data.
TA-Lib can be reused by trading software developers using Excel, .NET, Java, Perl or C/C++.

Gnome::StockIcons is a Gnome 1.4 stock icons in XPM format.

These are the Gnome 1.4 stock icons. The original PNG files are in gnome-libs-1.4.1.2.90/libgnomeui/pixmaps. All names are identical but - is replaced by _. Currenlty, this only affects calculator-font.png (@calculator_font).
The module does not strictly speaking require Gtk, but its not much use without.

owl is a program to display electronic dictionaries. It uses the extensive markup language dicML.
Two dictionaries are currently available with this program: a huge English/German dictionary originally published by Technical University of Chemnitz, and a French/German dictionary written from scratch for dicML and therefore not as big as the first one.
