SLAX Frodo edition is the console base for all other SLAX releases. SLAX Frodo Edition doesnt contain almost anything, only full working Linux command prompt and drivers.
Some people prefer modified versions of SLAX, designed to provide some extra functionality. Even if SLAX is modular and allows people to extend it easily, Im releasing these special modifications to help beginners use.

The Live CD described here is based on the Slackware Linux distribution and is downloadable from this website as an ISO image. All scripts and source code are available and can be used to build your own Live CD.
Enhancements:

- probeusb parameter now sleeps delay_use+1 seconds to wait for USB devices

The primary goal of SLAX is to provide a wide collection of useful software while keeping the cds image small enough to be written to a 185 MB CD-R(W) medium (small 8 cm CD). SLAX boots directly from the CD or USB devices and it provides a full featured Linux operating system.
All your available partitions and data storage devices (CD-ROM, USB storage devices, etc.) should be recognized at boot and should be mounted to /mnt/xx. As an example, "disc0part1" may be assigned to the first partition on your primary hard drive, "disc1part1" for your USB storage device, or "cdrom0" for your CD-ROM drive. SLAX will never write anything to the mounted devices. Mounting is safe and does not change the data.
After booting, you should be able to login as a "root", with the password "toor"; both without quotes, of course.

Many times there is a group of subroutines that can be tailored by different situations with a few, say global variables. However, global variables pollute namespaces, become mangled when the functions are multi-threaded and probably have many other faults that it is not worth the time discovering.
As well documented in literature, object oriented programming do not have these faults. This program module class of objects provide the objectized options for a group of subroutines or encapsulated options by using the methods directly as in an option object.
The Data::Startup class provides a way to input options in very liberal manner of either

Resource Oriented Microkernel
The heart of NetKernel is a high-performance, carefully designed, and tightly crafted microkernel. Services and resources within NetKernel are located by URI addresses, just as resources are located on the World Wide Web. AmarokFS Startup Script simply provides a shortcut for starting AmarokFS ("Amarok Full Screen") from within Amarok itself.

Installation:

Download the .amarokscript.tar file and install it with Amaroks script installer.

Usage:

Upon startup, the script will automatically look for the "amarokFS" executable in your PATH, and if not found, will prompt you for its location.

Once the script is running, you will have an "AmarokFS" menu entry in your playlist popup menu; now simply select "Run Amarok Full Screen" to activate AmarokFS.

The script can also be configured to use an amarokFS executable other than the one detected in the users PATH.
