stalonetray project is a STAnd-aLONE system tray (notification area). It only depends on Xlib at build-time and run-time. Stalonetray runs under virtually any window manager.

Notalon is an application designed to make taking Cornell notes faster and easier. Notalon is written specifically for the task of taking Cornell notes, unlike a word processor.

The idea came from the words "notes" and the "alon" suffix. Coincidentally, the title of the application is contained within the phrase "not alone", although this was completely unintended.

scanlogd is a TCP port scan detection tool, originally designed to illustrate various attacks an IDS developer has to deal with, for a Phrack Magazine article (see below). Thus, unlike some of the other port scan detection tools out there, scanlogd is designed to be totally safe to use.

This release of scanlogd can be built with support for one of several packet capture interfaces. In addition to the raw socket interface on Linux (which does not require any libraries), scanlogd is now aware of libnids and libpcap.

The use of libpcap alone is not a good idea. If youre on a system other than Linux and/or want to monitor the traffic of an entire network at once, you should be using libnids in order to handle fragmented IP packets.

1. Download the appropriate update file and put it in your Linux Neverwinter Nights directory (the directory containing nwserver).

2. Remove the BioWare-supplied contents of your override directory. If you have not placed any files in this directory yourself, you can do

rm -f override/*

You may wish to backup your override directory if you plan to revert to an earlier version at some point.

3. If present, remove patch.key, data/patch.bif, xp1patch.key, and data/xp1patch.bif

rm patch.key
rm data/patch.bif
rm xp1patch.key
rm data/xp1patch.bif

4. Unpack the file using the command

tar -xzf linuxserverupdate1xxto166.tar.gz

5. Download the dialog.tlk file(s) appropriate for your language from the Known Issues page, and place in it your Linux Neverwinter Nights directory (alternatively, copy them from an updated Win32 Neverwinter Nights installation).

TDFS stands for "Trivially distributed file system", and is a proof-of-concept implementation of distributed file system as a ("stacked") layer above normal file systems. It uses the FUSE libraries and subsystem to implement this operation in userland.
NOTE:This is currently a proof-of-concept implementation, not ready for production use! I would appreciate any feedback about this project - if it works or if it doesnt work. Since Im doing this in my spare time, it will take a long time for me to catch all bugs alone; if you need to speed this project up, consider posting ind the forums and/or submitting patches. The goal of TDFS is to solve single-writer-multiple-readers distribution of file system data (also called single-master-multiple-slave). In this scenario all writes happen (or originate) on one computer, and are propagated to others. Read requests can go to either the master or the slaves, and are served locally. Read requests dont go over the network, so this system doesnt offer strict synchronization. Some usages for this scenario are:
- Hot backups - all data is immediately propagated to a backup machine
- Archival - data is read-mostly and it helps to make it available on large number of machines
- Load balancing - one machine generates the data (possibly from a database) but is not a web server. Other machines are web servers and serve their local copy of the data. This is also useful as a separation of privileges (DMZ-style).
For example: in a scenario with one master and two slaves, the data is stored three times, once on each machine.

Periodic Calendar is a GUI utility which assists in women menstrual cycles tracking and fertility periods prediction.

The information tracked by this application can be used either to became pregnant or to prevent pregnancy.

At this point the fertility prediction is based on the calendar method which is not very precise. It is not recommended to use this method alone for the birth control.

- An interface to the Java programming language
- interfaces Java with a small programming language (same name, FrAid) so mathematical equations, formulas, etc. could be used within your Java code. This could be applied to large number of problems where symbolyc mathematical data needs to be processed - numerical computations, symbolic computations, graphic visualization, imaging, CAD, ... From this prospective the FrAid stand alone system could be viewed as an example of what could be done using FrAid as an interface to Java. The rest is up to your needs and imagination...
- A standalone application
- it is a completely selfsufficient system which provides flexible and extensible programming environment utilizing the FrAid programming language. You can use the existing scripts, functions and environments for mathematical computations, vizualization, batch processing and more. It is not meant to be a general scripting tool but in certain contexts it can be used as one.
- The FrAid programing language
- could be used independently (main programming language, like the in FrAid the standalone system) or as an interface to a larger system (even outside the Java context);
Components:
- a parser/interpreter for the FrAid programming language;
- a dynamic symbol table used by the interpreter - could be loaded/unloaded/changed in run time;
- a GraphicsPanel for visualizing graphics - 2D, double precision "infinite" zooming and scrolling, saves to JPEG and PNG in any resolution/size;
- a SettingsEditor for editing serialized Java classes (XML or regular) - maintains all FrAid settings, could be used for (almost) anything Java serialized;
- a simple MIDI panel for converting numeric sequences to MIDI + play/record capability;
- highly flexible IO subsystem, providing run time redirection and various logging options.

zstar Networked 3D project is a free 3D networked application platform.
zstar (z*) Networked 3D project is an extensible, distributed system for 3D application and game development, consisting of an abstract game client (similar in concept to the one that xpilot uses) and a game server to which players connect to play games against other players or alone.
This framework should be suitable for FPS, VR, MUDs, or any application that requires 3D and networking.
