SQLite is a small C library that implements a self-contained, embeddable, zero-configuration SQL database engine.

The SQLite distribution comes with a standalone command-line access program (sqlite) that can be used to administer an SQLite database and which serves as an example of how to use the SQLite library.
Create A New Database:
- At a shell or DOS prompt, enter: "sqlite3 test.db". This will create a new database named "test.db". (You can use a different name if you like.)
- Enter SQL commands at the prompt to create and populate the new database.
Write Programs That Use SQLite
Below is a simple TCL program that demonstrates how to use the TCL interface to SQLite. The program executes the SQL statements given as the second argument on the database defined by the first argument. The commands to watch for are the sqlite3 command on line 7 which opens an SQLite database and creates a new TCL command named "db" to access that database, the invocation of the db command on line 8 to execute SQL commands against the database, and the closing of the database connection on the last line of the script.

VSQLite++ is a portable SQLite wrapper library for C++.
Supported Compilers
- GCC and G++ 4.x (maybe 3.4.x too, but it wasnt tested until now)
- Visual C++ 8/2005 (Visual C++ 7.1/2003 wasnt tested, maybe will be added later)

Lua-Sqlite3 project is a binding of Sqlite3 for Lua.
Lua-Sqlite3 is unique in contrast to other database bindings that it consists of two layers.
The first layer translates the SQLite 3 implementations C API to Lua. The first layer is called the backend.
The second layers are frontend layers, written in Lua. These layers provide a nice and smart view of the database
Currently, Lua-Sqlite3 implements two frontends:
- A specialiced frontend which provides all sqlite3 capabilities.
- A LuaSQL compatible frontend as used on the Kepler Project.
Enhancements:
- Lua 5.1 support was added, and 5.0 is still supported.

WizSQLiteAdmin is a PHP script to manage SQLite databases.

If you use SQLite databases you can manage their contents with WizSQLiteAdmin: its very simple to use and avoid you to perform a lot of action.

JDBC Driver for SQLite is a thin layer on top of the SQLite 3.3.x C API. The native JNI library has SQLite compiled into it so all you need to do is include the two files packaged above in your project.
Usage:
Download the binary for the platform you are developing on. Open the tarball and copy the two files into your application directory:

Reference the driver in your code:

Enhancements:
- The driver is now thread-safe and fully supports UTF-16.

DBConsole is a GPLd database shell written in Python. The project currently supports SQLite, PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Simple C++ ODBC Database API is designed to encapsulate the ODBC API functionality in an object oriented manner.
The API was created due to an absence of any other such API that was database independent. The database independence is achieved using the ODBC (Open DataBase Connectivity) API.
The API provides a Database object that can be used to create instances of Query objects. The Query objects are used to query a database and allow columns to be bound for the query.
The flowing column objects are currently available (as of Jan 2005): a boolean column, a long column and a string column. The string column makes use of the libstdc++ string class so you dont have to mess around with malloc.
The Database object also has some convenience member functions that allow queries that return a single integer or string to be executed without having to create a query object or bind columns.
The API has been tested to work with both MySql and PostGreSQL on a Debian Linux platform.
Enhancements:
- DoubleColumn, IntColumn, and BigintColumn were added.
- The LongColumn is deprecated.
