Spyrit 0.2
Spyrit is a MUSH/MUCK/MOO client written in Python using the Qt toolkit. more>>
Spyrit is a MUSH/MUCK/MOO client written in Python using the Qt toolkit. The project aims to be a pleasant, extensible, polished product, and to support all three major platforms.
This is a beta version, and you will probably not find it terribly useful. Features are few and far between at this point, although a lot of work has gone into ensuring that the codes core is solid and dependable, in order to make the upcoming addition of features quick and straightforward. Stay tuned! In order to run this software, you will need Python 2.4 or later; Qt 4.2 or later; and the PyQt4 bindings, with sip 4.5.1 at least (mind that one, Ubuntu doesnt ship it yet!).
The software hasnt been tested on Windows or Mac, but should work there so long as the dependencies listed above are met.
Just simply run the file spyrit.py to execute the software; it is magically packaged so as to require no installation.

Specto 0.2.1
Specto project is a desktop application that will watch configurable events. more>>
Specto project is a desktop application that will watch configurable events (such as website updates, emails, file and folder changes, system processes, etc) and then trigger notifications.
For example, Specto can watch a website for updates (or a syndication feed, or an image, etc), and notify you when there is activity (otherwise, Specto will just stay out of the way). This changes the way you work, because you can be informed of events instead of having to look out for them.

XvSwitch 0.2
XvSwitch allows choosing which display gets XVideo video overlay. more>>
XvSwitch widget has 1 purpose:
To assist you with choosing which display gets XVideo video overlay. It uses shell commands to accomplish the task.
See http://suslikcentral.blogspot.com/2005/12/video-and-tv-out-in-xorg-on-linux.html
for reasons for using this applet and general guidance on Xvideo issue on Linux.
System requirements:
For full, flawless functionality you need:
a) SuperKaramba version 0.39 This theme uses changeInterval function that was introduced recently.
b) One utility from list mentioned in the welcome screen:
- aticonfig - ships with ATIs fglrx drivers, or
- xvattr - an independently-developed application. http://freshmeat.net/projects/xvattr/
c) (the applet WILL work without it too) XvSwitch uses Kdialog for welsome and configuration prompts. If you have "complete" kde, you have Kdialog.

arm0nia 0.2
arm0nia is a modular desktop environment. more>>
arm0nia (harmony) is a group of projects that intend to create software for making UNIX and UNIX like operating systems, more powerfull and friendly. Our first goal is to create a Dynamic Modular Desktop Environment.
Installation
1. pm.conf
The PM needs to known on which directory it is installed.
1.1. Copy the pack/pm.conf to /etc
1.2. Fix the directory variable pmdir of the pm.conf with the correct path.
Example:
If the daemon is located in directory /opt/pm/
Make sure, that the following line is exist in /etc/pm.conf
pmdir=/opt/pm
2. LD_LIBRARY_PATH
We must update ldconfigs path to check our libraries and modules. That can be done with several ways.
Note: in the following examples, I suppose that PM is located on /opt/pm
2.a. The best is to update the /etc/ld.so.conf
Open that file and append two new paths.
If our PMs directory is the /opt/pm add the following lines
/opt/pm/lib
/opt/pm/plugins
Save the file and update the cache by running ldconfig without parameters
2.b. Another way is to update the LD_LIBRARY_PATH at the system startup.
2.b.1. on bash
Open the /etc/profile and append the following lines.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/pm/lib:/opt/pm/plugins export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
2.b.2. on tcsh
Open the /etc/csh.cshrc and append the following line.
setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /opt/pm/lib:/opt/pm/plugins
Finally do a reboot (you can avoid it, but if you known how, then you dont need to read my doc).
2.c. Another way is to update the LD_LIBRARY_PATH at the shells login script.
The shells login scripts are for bash: ~/.profile for tcsh: ~/.login
You must append the same text as for 2.b case
2.d. Of course, you can do it manually from CLI, but if you are new, use the 2.b case
3. make
Suppose that PM is located on /opt/pm
Use make on
/opt/pm to create daemon and libraries
/opt/pm/plugins to create the plugins
/opt/pm/apps to create the applications
4. run
Run pmd on a virtual-console and try the application on another.

CDKeeper 0.2
CDKeeper is a CD Collection organizer. more>>
CDKeeper project is a CD Collection organizer.
It helps the user keep track of data-cd collections (backups, file archives, etc.) by allowing them to import CD file-structures, comment every file, directory, or CD (if desired), and then search the collection for a file.
This helps the user locate files they might not otherwise be able to locate quickly in a large collection.
Enhancements:
- Changes CDKeeperGUIMethods and CDCollection so that they no longer serialize to XML, which was causing most, if not all, of CDKeepers problems.
- CDKeeper is now fully functional again, and we can start focusing on making CDKeeper a better product rather than worrying about its serialization.

GlassBarMini 0.2
GlassBarMini is an system monitor SuperKaramba theme. more>>
GlassBarMini is an adaptation of the theme Ive been using for a couple of years now. My goal for a system monitor is one that will always be visible, regardless of what Im doing. This theme is sized such that you can position it at the top of the screen, and it will fit unobtrusively over the title bar--space that isnt being used anyway.
To get this theme to work with your network setup, youll need to replace every instance of "eth0" with your network device (eth1, ath0, wlan1, etc.) in the GlassBarMini.theme file.
I had to set window-specific settings in KDE to keep the theme on top of other windows--there might be a better way to do this, but I dont know it ;)
The new GlassBarMini theme is derived from artwork from the original GlassHUD/GlassHUDX monitors and CaceKs GlassPlayer. Ive also included the background and theme file from the theme that Ive used previously, in case anyone prefers that.
