subPersistence is an abstract, light-weight yet flexible framework for working with O/R persistence mappers. It provides for independence of a specific O/R mapper such as Hibernate or Castor.
While you can use Hibernate or Castor (or other O/R mappers) directly, coupling your application too tightly to those can be a bad thing. subPersistence makes it easy to switch underlying O/R mappers, thereby decoupling the application layer from those.
It abstracts away differences between the mappers, while still making it possible to use their specific features if needed.
Enhancements:
- This version updates to Java 5 features such as Generics and is the first version to require Hibernate 3.

NScache provides a simple manager and browser for Netscape(tm) cache directories.

nscache is a simple program to browse the Netscape cache directory with a GTK UI. It shows the contents of the browser cache in a three level hierarchy of files: protocols, servers and documents or in sorted list.

nscache permits you to view files from the cache, remove files, or gather various information about specific files.

App::Info::Lib is a Perl module that contains information about software libraries on a system.

This class is an abstract base class for App::Info subclasses that provide information about specific software libraries. Its subclasses are required to implement its interface. See App::Info for a complete description, and App::Info::Lib::Iconv for an example implementation.

Currently, App::Info::Lib adds no more methods than those from its parent class, App::Info.

Typing Trainer is a software developed to exercise typing skills.
Typing Trainer is designed for exercising typing speed and typing accuracy, by providing an environment to type in a copy of an original text within a specific time period.
It also has the ability to store the results of such an exercise for exam purposes.
Enhancements:
- Some bugfixes in unicode handling, primarily in the way results are displayed.

NameSpawner can be used to generate random names with a specific theme. Some of the themes included in the main distribution are: elvish, barbaric, dwarvish, angelic, demonic, and Tolkien-like.

Names are "spawned" via random walks on Markov Chains. New themes can be created using existing lists of names. Random walk settings can be tweaked to obtain more variance in the output names or more faithfulness to the original list of names.

KHacc is a sister project to QHacc--the Q Home Accountant--but with KDE-specific integration. It features double- or single-entry bookkeeping and a reconciliation window.
It also provides support for memorized and split transactions, graphing, reporting, archiving, and scheduled transactions that can be based on the account balance. KHacc requires QHacc.

The Wyjec is a general-purpose expression language with simple prefix notation.
Wyjec is also a name of pure-Java implementation of the language, that can be embedded in various Java applications and customised for their specific needs.
Wyjec is Free Software so you can read, modify and redistribute its source code, as long as you conform to its license requirements.
