XML::Excel is a Perl extension converting Excel files to XML.

XML::Excel is a new module which is going to be upgraded very often as my time permits. For the time being it uses Spreadsheet::ParseExcel module object default values to parse the (*.xls) document and then creates a perl data structure with xml tags names and data. At this point it does not allow for a write as you parse interface but is the first upgrade for the next release. I will also allow more access to the data structures and more documentation.

I will also put in more support for XML, since currently it only allows a simple XML structure. Currently you can modify the tag structure to allow for attributes. No DTD support is currently available, but will be implemented in a soon coming release. As the module will provide both: object and event interfaces, it will be used upon individual needs, system resources, and required performance. Ofcourse the DOM implementation takes up more resources and in some instances timing, its the easiest to use.

GENU is a Content Management System which uses a database server (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite). The project uses a template system and supports multiple languages.
It features BBCode and HTML tag support, a bulletin board, a comment system with reply and editing abilities, an administration interface, headlines generation, polls, a search engine, smilies support, "submit" and "send" news functions, unlimited news organized into unlimited categories, and user management.

MillScript-Excel project is a Java library for reading and writing Excel spreadsheets. The goal of the library is primarily to support all versions of Microsoft Excel, but other spreadsheet formats should also be added. The API is geared towards easy integration with other applications.

FormFaces provides a XForms implementation in JavaScript.
FormFaces is a toolkit of Processors, libraries, and APIs that allow XForms forms management across a range of enterprise architectures and browser types. It is a server-side solution requiring no browser plug-ins or proxies.
The Processor provides a Java API for compiling XHTML and XForms into DHTML including extendable JavaScript and DOM access to the XForms model. It can selectively generate Java beans for Servlet or JSP/JSTL access, or browser-ready markup.
The libraries provide an API for accessing generated DHTML form elements and marshalling posted name-value pairs to XForms instance data.

Sudoku solver application was created for solving a Sudoku with a backtracking algorithm. Instead of using a 9 x 9 matrix, it extends the matrix to 10 x 36 (10 rows, 36 columns), storing information in the extra cells.

The last row is used for keeping track of how many cells, for the current column, are still available.

The columns 9-17 (0-based) are used for storing the numbers which are still available in rows 0-8.

The columns 18-26 are used for storing the numbers which are still available in columns 0-8.

The columns 27-35 are used for storing the numbers which are still available in each square (counting from left to right and from top to bottom).

CastCluster provides access to additional content on iTunes, Apple TV, iPod, or a random podcast viewer.

The project currently supports YouTube, Google Video, local disks, and RSS feeds as sources of content. CastCluster uses ffmpeg for video conversion.

Anagram Solver is a simple anagram solver program.

You can use it against any spelling dictionary that is formatted:

- one word per line
- in alphabetical order

If its not in alphabetical order, you could send it through pipe.

The basic algorithm tries all possible combinations of a word, in such a way that the combinations are generated in alphabetical order.

It also knows the next real word in the list, so it can tell whether or not it is futile to pursue a certain node. These optimizations make it possible for it to solve a 8+ letter word in a few seconds

To use it, simply point it to your aspell dictionary file, usually located in /usr/share/dict/linux.words
