PCLinuxOS project is one of the worlds up and coming providers of a Linux Desktop Solution. With a small but dedicated development team, PClinuxOS delivers Desktop Ready Software that harnesses the power of the Open Source Community.

PCLinuxOS 0.93 MiniME is available for download and testing. This release is for those who have been asking for a minimum livecd/hd install allowing for full personalization.

This release includes 2.6.15-oci3 kernel, Basic KDE 3.5.2 desktop (kdebase and kdelibs only) , PCLOS Control Center, the Synaptic Software Installer and a customized xorg server from Thac to provide additional 3D support for many graphic cards. Full Version of PCLinuxOS 0.93 is currently being worked up and should be available soon.

OpenLab is a GNU/Linux distribution, created by Direq International. OpenLab focuses primarily on the education market, yet more generally on Community Access Solutions. OpenLab has a particular strength in powering thin-client systems.

OpenLab currently runs in hundreds of schools and community access points throughout Africa, and on countless home, business and school desktops (through free download).

OpenLab was originally based on slackware (a Linux distribution) and maintains full package level binary compatibility with its parent system. However, OpenLab is an independant development with a different design philosophy. OpenLab built on the premise that the solution works out of the box. Each succesive version makes significant strides toward an ever greater user experience.

OpenLab makes the setup of a thin-client server easier than it has ever been before. Intuitive responses to simple questions (during and post-installation) allow thin-client setup and configuration. And on the thin-clients itself, Direq-designed tools make hardware conguration, multimedia, storage -device access and applications easier and more accessible than ever before.

OpenLabs primary market has been the Education sector, and thus many unique innovations and designs for the education market distinguish OpenLab from its competitors.

OpenLabs default installation consists entirely of Free/Libre and Open-Source Software (FLOSS), although non-free software is optionally available where no viable alternatives yet exist.

PCLinuxOS Business Edition is a Small Business oriented Linux distribution based on the popular PCLinuxOS. While we are based on PCLinuxOS, we are not an "official" part of the PCLinuxOS distro. Our goal to offer the very best in solutions for small business/SOHO needs targeted toward the small/mid-sized business "layperson".

We offer a Desktop solution that is primarily geared to the SOHO, one man shop/business where everything can be done right on your one machine. There are all the business oriented applications you could want, from word processing to graphics production, making bar code labels to spreadsheets and databases. Its right there at your command.

Also available for small business is the Business Edition Server solution. It offers a laymans basic approach to setting up most of the small servers and networking functions you might need for your small business or home office. Both Desktop and Server are made with working together in mind. Desktop is a great "client" for connecting to the many server and networking functions available on the BE Server.

tinydyndns is a simple but powerful dynamic DNS solution that uses djbdns. tinydyndns cooperates with the djbdns package to publish dynamic IP addresses authenticated through POP connections.

On successfully authenticated POP connections, the tinydyndns-update program manipulates tinydns constant database "data.cdb" directly without rebuilding it; this makes the dynamic DNS solution use very few system resources.

Using a POP service for authentication saves the work for installing special client software, since POP clients are available for every common network-aware operating system. To provide the DNS and POP service, tinydyndns cooperates with djbdns, qmail, and cvm.
