Spike PHP Security Audit Tool project is a tool that performs a static analysis of PHP code for security exploits.
Usage:
To install, unzip Spike phpSecAudit package.
> unzip spike_phpSecAudit.zip
Change directory to your php repository.
> cd /path/to/code/to/audit
Execute the run.php, passing the file name or directory to audit.
> php /path/to/spike_phpSecAudit/run.php test_file.php
or
> php /path/to/spike_phpSecAudit/run.php dir_name
Enhancements:
- Modified to be PHP 4 friendly.
- A few functions have been added to the knowledge base: extract, shell_exec, pcntl_exec, and exec.
- The organization of the knowledge base file (vuln_db.xml) has been slightly improved.
- The _getAllPhpFiles function may miss a few (unverified).
- The tokenizer needs to be able to differentiate between a native function call and class method call of the same name, i.e. mail() and $class->mail().

sidux-highway KDM theme (widescreen) 0.1
sidux-highway is a KDM theme as a modification of the Sabayon KDM theme Open Future. more>>
sidux-highway is a KDM theme as a modification of the Sabayon KDM theme "Open Future".
The highway picture was taken and modified by me, the go.png is taken from "crystalline black" icons (kde-look.org #46349), session.png and system.png are modified nuoveXT icons (kde-look.org #26449). The small pictures inside the monitor and folder are sidux wallpapers.
Modifications:
changed wallpaper and icons and resized and repositioned the userlist slightly, added missing screenshot
The highway picture is widescreen 1920x1200. Should be easy to resize it if needed. For your convenience I also have added a 1024x768 version, just rename it if you want to use it instead of the WUXGA picture.
To use the theme untar it to /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/ and either change your /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc manually or use kcontrol if you have the kdmtheme module.
ATTENTION: If you use a display height other than 1200 the position of the login area (that half transparent stripe) will be different from what you see in the preview. If you want to have the same position with another display height you can easily adjust it by editing the file highway.xml with your favorite text editor. Just go to line 49 and change the y-value that by default is "-485". Its an easy rule of three: lets say you have a display height of 800: 800x485/1200=323 - go and replace -485 by -323.
BTW: If you just want the wallpaper: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=52780

Subtle 0.7c
Subtle is a another tiling window manager with a slightly different approach to place the windows. more>>
Subtle application is a another tiling window manager with a slightly different approach to place the windows, in contrast to other tiling window managers like Wmii or Ion. The placement in subtle is done by tiling windows which arrange every child-window either in a horizontal or a vertical manner. Client or even tiling windows can be moved/dragged into a tile and will be arranged according to the tile type. Every window can be swapped too and shaded inside of it’s parent tile. (view)
This behaviour is mostly inspired by Wily, an emulation of ACME – the well-known Plan9 “editor”.
Configuration and theming is done with the help of Lua. Furthermore there is an extendable “statusbar” attached to the main tile. Sublets, small Lua scripts, provide features like a customizable clock or even a small progressbar for the battery capacity of a notebook.
The initial code was based on Aewm, but is meanwhile completely re-written.
Simplicty and flexibility are the goals of this project – besides not to be bloated of course. Controlling can be done either with the mouse or the keyboard – just as the user prefers.

Blended provides a simple theme designed to blend in with the menu bar to create a smooth appearance.
The theme was designed with the Clearlooks GTK2 theme in mind, but works well with other themes that have plain menu bars.
Inculdes 4 theme variations:
- Blended ( Top corners rounded)
- BlendedDoubleRound (Top and bottom corners rounded)
- BlendedSmall (Smaller window butons)
- BlendedSmallDoubleRound
NOTE:
If you want all 4 variations make sure they are all coppied to your themes folder as at least for me installing through theme preferences only installs the last theme.
Enhancements:
- Looks much better with darker GTK themes
- Windows have a slightly beveled appearance
- Title padding reduced on regular button size themes
- focused text no longer etched
- other minor changes

Digmia Enterprise SSH 1.0x
DSSH was written as a direct replacement for OpenSSH client for our use. more>>
DSSH was written as a direct replacement for OpenSSH client for our use. The project adds SSH over SSH tuneling capabilities (for example to log in to network which is hidden by firewall), scripting support (using Groovy), advanced agent (which allows storing of passwords) and "su -" interactive logging for machines, which have disabled direct root login.
All of this was done to enable automated scripting and logging to lots of machines based on few simple rules.
It uses Ganymed SSH library (slightly patched). I tried to contribute my changes back to Ganymed-SSH authors and if I succeed, I will probably try to stick with official Ganymed-SSH distribution.

Module::AutoINC 0.02
Module::AutoINC is a Perl module that can download and install CPAN/PPM modules upon first use. more>>
SYNOPSIS
perl -MModule::AutoINC < script >
ABSTRACT
When Module::AutoINC is loaded, it will add itself to @INC and catch any requests for missing resources. If a Perl module is requested that has not been installed, then this will attempt to load it. Under Active State Perl (or any Perl where PPM is available), PPM will attempt to install it. Otherwise CPAN will be queried and, assuming that the module exists on CPAN, CPAN::Shell will be invoked to install it. Execution of the script continues after the requisite module has been installed.
Module::AutoINC is a slightly useful tool designed to streamline the process of installing the modules required by a script. By loading the Module::AutoINC module (usually via a "-MModule::AutoINC" command-line option), the user is registering a handler that will catch any attempt to use a module that does not exist on the local machine. In this case, the CPAN::Shell module will be invoked to search for the specified module and, if found, an attempt will be made to install the module. If successful, the module will be loaded and execution will continue as normal.
Imported Symbols
You can modify the behavior of the module slightly using several import symbols. All import symbols are case-insensitive.
If you import the special symbol force then the installation of the module(s) will be forced. The definition of a forced installation varies depending on whether you are installing using PPM or CPAN. See the relevant documentation for each system for more information.
You can override the installation method detection using the import symbols, cpan or ppm. cpan will cause CPAN to be used for module installation no matter whether PPM is available or not. ppm will attempt to install the module using PPM regardless of whether ppm is findable by Module::AutoINC. Of course, you should know what you are doing if you use these import symbols.
Examples
perl -MModule::AutoINC -MLingua::Num2Word=cardinal -le print cardinal("en", 42)
...will download and install Lingua::Num2Word and Lingua::EN::Num2Word.
perl -MModule::AutoINC=cpan -MLingua::Num2Word=cardinal -le print cardinal("de", 42)
...will then download and install (using CPAN, even under ActiveState Perl) Lingua::DE::Num2Word (German).
perl -MModule::AutoINC=force -MLingua::Num2Word=cardinal -le print cardinal("es", 42)
...will then download and install (forcefully) Lingua::ES::Numeros (Spanish).

Vision Egg 1.0
Vision Egg is a high level interface between Python and OpenGL. more>>
Vision Egg project is a high level interface between Python and OpenGL.
In addition to methods for automatic generation of traditional visual stimuli such as sinusoidal gratings and random dot patterns, it has a number of functions for moving numeric data, images, movies, text, and 3D objects to and from your video card and allowing use of some of its features like perspective distortion.
Therefore, it is also useful for anyone wishing to make use of the features of todays graphics cards.
- Perform experiments using an inexpensive PC and standard consumer graphics card
- Perform experiments using a graphics workstation if special features needed
- Data acquisition and other realtime hardware control capabilities useful in electrophysiology and fMRI experiments, including gaze-contingent stimuli
- Dynamically generated stimuli can be changed in realtime via software or external hardware
- Produce traditional stimuli to replace legacy systems
- Produce stimuli not possible using other hardware
- Demo programs to get you started right away
- Run stimuli on your laptop - great for talks
- Free, open-source software
- multi_stim_small.jpg
- See the screenshots.
By harnessing the incredible power of todays consumer graphics cards, producing visual stimuli of research quality now requires no specialized hardware beyond a relatively recent computer and graphics card.
Based on open standards, it runs on anything from cheap PCs to expensive special hardware for special needs. For example, running on some platforms, such as SGI workstations, the Vision Egg has a 10-bit luminance dynamic range (both pixel depth and DAC) and precise frame-by-frame control.
Enhancements:
- This release comes after 2 years of beta-testing by laboratories around the world.
- Since the release of version 0.9.9, major enhancements were made to the ephys server/GUI code to use normal (or slightly modified) demo scripts in this environment.
- Numerous bugfixes and small enhancements were done.

Distributed Network John The Ripper 0.2.5
Distributed Network John The Ripper is a client/server framework that wraps around a slightly modified version of JohnTheRipper. more>>
Distributed Network John The Ripper is a client/server framework that wraps around a slightly modified version of John The Ripper.
In contrast to the MPI version of John, dnetj allows the use of nodes which are of differing speeds and for nodes which do not run 24/7.
This tool was written for a number of reasons, firstly the MPI version requires an MPI installation on each node, and for the nodes to be configured together and be roughly the same speed. Also, although other distributed password crackers exist (such as djohn or medussa) they all have their own limitations.
The server loads a set of password hashes, and splits the available keyspace into "work units" of a configurable size. The clients connect and retrieve the hashes, as well as a set of work units to process. Once a client has processed some work units, it connects back to the server to submit the completed units as well as any passwords which have been cracked.
Possible uses include eg, running as a background task on all the workstations in an office.
Note, this tool is at an early stage of development and is likely to be very buggy, although it is functional. Bug reports and/or patches are strongly encouraged.
Main features:
- Distributed client/server model, any number of clients can be supported and can be brought up and down at will
- Support for any cipher supported by John 1.7.2 (additional cipher patches should be able to be applied normally)
- Keep the changes to John to a minimum, so that patches/updates can still be applied without too much fuss
- Uses the same optimized encryption routines as John
- Cracked hashes are stored in the standard john.pot format, so they can be displayed with john -show
- Passwd files sent to clients are sanitised (only the hash is sent, other fields from the passwd file are removed)
- Capability for auto client registration
- Code is intentionally kept clean to aid porting
Supported Platforms
Dnetj has been tested on the following systems:
- Linux/x86
- Linux/amd64
- Linux/sparc
- MacOSX/PPC
- MacOSX/Intel
- Solaris/x86
Version restrictions:
- Clients will sometimes crash if unable to connect to the server for a long period of time.
- Work unit size is limited to a 32bit integer number of crypts (ie: 4294967296)
- Node performance calculations wrap once the node has performed more than 4294967296 crypts, so nodes may appear to be much slower than they truly are.
- Doesnt work with NTLM, as the NTLM hash is stored in a different field of the passwd file.
- Traffic is sent in plain text (this makes debugging easier at this early stage of development)
- Makefile is very basic, and has no configure script, compilation on Solaris requires adding -lnsl -lsocket to the compile command.
Enhancements:
- Basic functionality is implemented, and dnetj is usable, but there are many things still to be implemented and a lot more testing is needed.
