skill sends signals to processes given any combination of user names, ttys, commands, and pids and snice changes the priority of processes (given the same).
They are similar to kill(1) and renice(8), but the commandline is order-independent. There are also verbose, search, and interactive modes of operation.

tkacal is a scheduling program which could be used with cal for example. tkacal stores the data using sqlite.
It is released under GPL license.
The idea of writing this program came when I was travelling from in Finland from Oulu to Kannus by train. By then I had realized that a small search for command line scheduling apps did not yield good results. I also wanted to improve my python skills. Well, why dont I make one for myself then? DAMASCAS is for anybody who has to allocate work to others - team leaders, shop supervisor, office staff head, project leader. In short term - it can be used as a tool for day to day work allocation; it can also be used as a tool to plan effective work allocation for the team.

DAMASCAS can be used for small office team of 10-12 people to huge manufacturing setup with over 2000 workers.

DAMASCAS was first concieved to create daily work assignment for workers in a manufacturing setup with over 2500 workers.

GIPSpin is a graphical interface programming system which allows code to be visualized and which can generate threaded code.

The user constructs code segments using visual boxes. The program flow is represented as links between the boxes. Complex elements such as threader boxes are available to implement threading.

Currently, simple C code can be automatically parsed and visualized. The user can also start with the GUI to construct code segments which are turned into C++ code.

Intended Audience:

Researchers and programmers who are interested in visual programming and threading. As stated in the development status, a lot of work remains to be done, and we would be happy for suggestions and comments.
