SkipStone is currently under heavy development, but its progressing quickly and coming along nicely. It provides a nice and simple configurable interface, bookmarks and all of the other mandantory browsing features.
Downloading is handled by SkipDownload by default, a Gtk+ frontend to the famous web downloading utility wget. However, if you prefer to use other download utilities / managers, this option is configurable.
Mail and external url handlers are also handled by external applications which can be configured to the users choice, leaving SkipStone to do what it does best - browsing.

Diet-Router is a Linux router that is small enough to fit on a single floppy disk. It focuses more on security than on functionality.
Diet-Router is a Linux router built with the dietlibc. It is small enough to fit on a single floppy disk. You may think that there are several other Linux routers, which come with more features and you are right. I build this router package more with the view on security than of functionality. So this project differs a lot from most other router or mini-Linux projects.
Main features:
- I use a 2.4.x kernel to have the great features of net-filter.
- I patch some net-filter extensions to have even more filter functions.
- I harden the kernel with the grsecurity kernel patch.
- Kernel modules are disabled.
- By default root login is disabled - even on the console.
How does it work:
First of all, all programs are linked statically. This is the main idea of this system. No libraries are needed. It uses busybox and tinylogin, two typical multi-call-binaries for small systems. The iptables, iptables-restore and iptables-save commands have been made a multi-call binary by me. The pppd and pppoe programs have only been patched to compile with the dietlibc. The minit and od_syslog are really small programs, from people with much more knowledge of programming than me. So, special thanks to Felix von Leitner, Olaf Drefs and all the dietlibc/libowfat programmers.
Enhancements:
- Updated dietlibc, libowfat, dropbear, ppp, kernel and grsecurity to recent
- versions.
- Added new packages dhcp server (udhcpd) and vi (e3).
- The build system has been completely rewritten and documented.
- It supports multiple downloads, a simple interface for package building/setup and target file descriptions including file owner and permissions.
- Some simple checks for build requirements are implementet.
- The setup is now able to configure mutiple network interfaces and also mproxy, udhcpd and dnscache can be configured for eachnetwork interface.
- All packages have at least two internet sources.
- Support for disc based target systems has been added.

Version restrictions:
- The hostname is used in the Via line, which is not correct in all cases (e.g. if the loopback interface is used, or if the host has several interfaces). The rport parameter should fix problmes with the incorrect hostname, but for backward compatibility whith implementations which do not support rport this should be fixed.
- The DNS responses are not parsed compeltly which can result in strange output during hostname detection.
- TCP is not supported as transport protocol.
- IPv6 is not supported as transport protocol.
- Missing support for the Record-Route and Route header.
- Not fully RFC3261 compatible.
- Some smaller problems are listed in the TODO file.
Enhancements:
- A new option allows to add any header to the outgoing requests.
- The variable replacement option now accepts any number of attribute value pairs.
- Besides MD5 now SHA1 is support as digest authentication algorithm.
- The password for authentication can be read from stdin to prevent password disclosure in the process list.
- Fixed problems when executed as user root and compiles fine again under cygwin.

This site hosts the Linux driver for the QuickCam Express and other QuickCam-related and QuickCam-compatible USB web cameras. The original work was done by Georg Acher and was known as qce-ga; Jean-Frederic Clere took that driver and created the first Video4Linux (V4L) driver, enabling popular V4L applications such as Xawtv to display pictures from the webcam. Since then, a group of developers around the world have evolved the driver into its current state, adding support for new cameras and chipsets as they have become available. In the process, the driver became known as qc-usb to reflect the fact that it supports a wide variety of USB-attached QuickCam cameras, not just the QuickCam Express.

A test program using the SipUnit API is written in Java and acts as a network element that sends/receives SIP requests and responses. The SipUnit API includes SIP User Agent Client (UAC), User Agent Server (UAS), and basic UAC/UAS Core functionality - the set of processing functions that resides above the SIP transaction and transport layers - for the purpose of interacting with the test target.
SipUnit uses the JAIN-SIP reference implementation as its underlying SIP stack/engine. The primary goal of SipUnit is to abstract the details of SIP messaging/call handling and facilitate free-flowing, sequential test code so that a test target can be exercised quickly and painlessly.
A test program using SipUnit API:
1. Extends SipTestCase
2. Creates SipUnit API objects - SipStack, SipPhone, SipCall, etc.
3. Calls methods on the object(s) to set up and initiate action toward a SIP test target. For example: SipPhone.makeCall("sip:roger@nist.gov", SipResponse.OK, ....) makes a vanilla call to sip:roger@nist.gov and blocks until an OK is received or a timeout occurs. The test target could be any node up to and including the final destination of the INVITE request message.
4. Verifies the results of the action involving the test target using both the SIP-specific assert methods provided by SipUnit and the standard JUnit assert methods. For example: assertHeaderContains(sipCall.getLastReceivedResponse(), "From", "sip:amit@nist.gov"), assertEquals("Unexpected response received", SipResponse.OK, sipCall.getReturnCode()).
