Parallel Three-Dimensional Fast Fourier Transforms, dubbed P3DFFT, is a library for computational computing in a wide range of sciences, such as physics, climatology, chemistry.
This project was developed at SDSC by Dmitry Pekurovsky as a product of a Strategic Applications Collaborations (SAC) project.
Main features:
- Parallel implementation with 2D data decomposition, overcoming an important limitation to scalability of other 3D FFT libraries implementing 1D, or slab, decomposition.
- Optimized for parallel communication and single-CPU performance.
- Built on top of well-optimized and flexible 1D FFT libraries.
Enhancements:
- Assorted minor bugfixes and code speedups.

Slingshot is a two dimensional, turn based simulation-strategy game set in the gravity fields of several planets. It is a highly addictive game, and never the same from round to round due to its randomly generated playing fields.

It is a deceptively simple game, the goal is to shoot the other spacecraft through the field of planets, but their gravity makes it tricky. The effects of the gravity mean that although its easy to learn how to play, and to enjoy playing, it could take a lifetime to thoroughly master.

In order to hit your opponent, you can rotate you ship to aim in any direction, and you can change the power with which your projectile is launched - the initial speed at which it flies.

This project is free software as defined by the Free Software Foundation, it is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL). This means you are free to download, copy, modify, redistribute, disassemble, analyse or sell Slingshot under the terms of the aforementioned license. Enjoy!

mod_limitipconn is an Apache module which allows web server administrators to limit the number of simultaneous downloads permitted from a single IP address.

Data::Region Perl module can define hierarchical areas with behaviors.

Data::Region allows you to easily define a set of nested (2-dimensional) areas, defined by related coordinates, and to associate actions with them. The actions can then be performed hierarchically from any root of the tree.

Data::Region was written to provide an easy way to do simple page layout, but has, perhaps, more general uses.

Introduction:

During the past centuries, the Reign of Graiel has known a prosperous life of richness and well-being.

Months ago, the King died in mysterious circumstances and his daughter, Asia the princess, run into severe illness. Things turned dramatically worse when the princess, hanging around the castle dungeons, found some ancient magic books, filled with forgotten formulas written with human blood.

Rumours around say that Asia, excited by her curiosity, read with loud voice a few phrases from that evil books, capable of awakening the lost souls from the Land of the Dead. Magic words pronounced by her have would have opened a dimensional breach, letting obscure creatures lurking in the never ending Darkness to reach out to our World.

Now, the Castle of Graiel is totally under control of evil creatures with enormous power. Asia the princess lives locked in her bedroom, captured by the monsters which are now planning their raise and conquer of the whole Reign.
Many brave knights have dead trying to defeat the creatures.

libmousetrap is a C library to create and manipulate mousetrap buffers in system memory. Mousetrap buffers are compressed two dimensional cartesian grids with integer precision.
A mousetrap buffer retains an integer identifier for every point in the grid, so that later the identifier can be referenced with a set of (x, y) coordinates.
Why?
Well, when youre doing graphics programming and somebody clicks something with the mouse, all you get is the x and y location where the click was, and what mouse button they pressed.
With the x and y location, all you can really get is the color of the pixel they clicked on, which doesnt tell you what *thing* on the screen they clicked on. There are lots of different ways to determine in your program what thing was clicked on, this library is one of them.
Enhancements:
- This release fixes a really silly but really nasty bug, I called the function to create mousetraps out of SDL surfaces with the flags and the id parameters mixed up.
