IVJLogger project is a small library of classes and functions written in Java designed to assist you with your logging needs. "Why another logger?" you may ask. Well, the main purpose of it is keeping it simple.
Simplicity means less bugs, more extensibility, better performance, and happier users. Many loggers Ive seen out therer take forever to set up, I am not even talking about all the initialization code, and all the clean-up you have to do just to get them to log one line of code.
With IVJLogger you dont need any external files, no clean-up, and initialization code is as simple as instantiating an object.

Piddlepodder is a podcatching client. It imitates the simplicity of bashpodder with a few added features.

PiddlePodder downloads podcasts from a list of XML feeds and puts them into a download directory by date.

No effort is made to copy the resulting files to an iPod, nor will this application interface with a directory, since its just a simple podcatcher.

Piddlepodder offers the ability to mark the set of podcasts as current (catch up). This is handy for first-time users who would otherwise be stuck downloading every show (sometimes since the beginning of the podcast) which can lead to hefty download times and large amounts of disk space.

libdvdcss is a cross-platform library for transparent DVD device access with on-the-fly CSS decryption. It currently runs under Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, BSD/OS, Solaris, BeOS, Win95/Win98, Win2k/WinXP, MacOS X, HP-UX, QNX, and OS/2.
It is used by libdvdread and most DVD players such as VLC because of its portability and because, unlike similar libraries, it does not require your DVD drive to be region locked.
