DSI Sound Station is broadcast software for everything related to audio and station management.

DSI Sound Station is for broadcast radio and TV stations of all sizes. It provides hard-disk audio recording, an on-line newsroom, a disc/media cataloguer, and sales utilities (like contracts and invoices).

W3MAIL - fast and small web-mail client written in PHP5. It provides easy webmail access to IMAP accounts and has very few requirements to install.

Simple Log is a small library that does logging very simply and requires you to do almost nothing (other than actually logging) to get log output to happen. Simple Log is much simpler to use than a logging framework, especially in terms of configuration.
It doesnt attempt to solve every logging problem in one package, but contains enough features to be a viable alternative for most applications that need logging. This tool will handle the logging needs of most small- to large-sized projects, but with an almost non-existent learning curve.
Enhancements:
- This release is primarily about the addition of log rolling (by time of day, file size, or custom strategy), the inclusion of a small but humorous user guide, the fixing of a raft of minor bugs, and the inclusion of a few other small features increasing flexibility.

Sound Studio is a Tcl/Tk application written by Paul Sharpe as his third year individual project, for which he received the Microsoft Prize for Software Engineering. It was subsequently improved by Robin Whitehead.

It enables recording, playback and simple cut & paste editing of sound files of diverse formats on a PC equipped with a soundcard and the OSS (formally VoxWare) sound drivers.

It uses Lance Norskogs Sox for format conversion; the version weve used is bundled together with this software in its entirety to prevent incompatibility problems, although you should try it with your own sox if you have a more recent one.

Sound Studio is now "finished", but no doubt there are loads of bugs still to be found and features to be added.

Welcome to the SFI website. The Simple Forth Interpreter (SFI in short) is a Java implementation of a little subset of the ANS Forth language.
The goal of SFI is to develop a small interpreter to be embedded in any application and provide scripting functionality with low resources.
SFI follows the ANS Forth standard where reasonably possible, provides a simple way by inheritance to customize and integrate the interpreter in any existing application and a simple interface to play with the Forth code.
Why Forth? The interpreter its pretty simple and small, its an easy to learn language and the extend with user defined words fits quite well the idea of a language for scripting purposes.

SDL_sound is a library that handles the decoding of several popular sound file formats, such as .WAV and .MP3. It is meant to make the programmers sound playback tasks simpler. The programmer gives SDL_sound a filename, or feeds it data directly from one of many sources, and then reads the decoded waveform data back at her leisure.
If resource constraints are a concern, SDL_sound can process sound data in programmer-specified blocks. Alternately, SDL_sound can decode a whole sound file and hand back a single pointer to the whole waveform. SDL_sound can also handle sample rate, audio format, and channel conversion on-the-fly and behind-the-scenes, if the programmer desires.
As the name implies, SDL_sound is an add-on to Simple Directmedia Layer, and as such, youll need it to build and use SDL_sound. SDL gives us lots of convenience for porting and implementing some elements of the library, not to mention that it is a powerful, cross platform answer to DirectX. You should definitely look into it, whether you use SDL_sound or not.

Simple Aggregator is a Web-based news aggregator. It retrieves feeds using Mark Pilgrims Ultra Liberal feed Parser, making full use of its advanced features. It stores the feeds in a MySQL database, and displays news via a PHP frontend.
Enhancements:
- the backend is now ready for categories (planned for the next release)
- the feedsloader script now uses threads for much better performance
- the feedsloader script now periodically cleans up read entries
- the feedsloader script now traps feed encoding errors
- added OPML import and export for feeds
- moved CSS style sheets to a common external file
